AI Writer Assistant is A Team Necessity
What do you like best about the product?
I rave about Notion to my colleagues and friends. I have onboarded three companies and organized all internal materials as part of my operations management role at start-ups. I love that there are so many templates available how easy it is to input. The AI writing assistant has been extremely helpful in developing content ideas and blog posts.
What do you dislike about the product?
Downsides I'd say is that sometimes it lags but it might just be my Drive being full.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When i came into the company everything was in Google Drive nothing had a clear home and it was difficult to find information. Now everything is organized into a neat way to collect needed information across teams.
Overall satisfactory experience, but needs improvement.
What do you like best about the product?
I find the workflow in Notion and its use of AI to be amazing. The ability to have AI create forms, summarize texts, and even improve my writing is fantastic. Not only are the AI tools great, but they are also affordable for individuals. Notion also provides excellent answers.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing I don't like about Notion is that it doesn't provide as many text styles as Word does, and it doesn't offer multiple layouts. Therefore, you have to follow the web writing format. Sometimes when I copy text from other sources, Notion doesn't give me the option to copy text only, and I may end up copying the whole image. I'm not sure if this is a bug with Notion. I would like to have more text editing styles in the future.
Regarding Notion AI, I think its performance is not always top-notch. Sometimes, when I select text and ask the AI to do something, it still completes the task based on the whole page, even if I specifically emphasize that it should only consider the selected text. It should incorporate the GPT-4 model because sometimes the AI has trouble understanding my prompt, and sometimes it gives me results I don't want. These things should definitely be improved in the future.

writing assistant, professional readers, summarize texts, getting knowledge, building database, and these things can be definitely helpul in the future if Notion can take advantage of it.

I love doing my meeting summaries and in general, it is really easy to organise my work in Notion. AI has helps tremendously in making my writing better!

If I ask for AI for citations, it cannot provide accurate ones at the moment.

What do you like best about the product?
It's a completely customisable and database driven note taking app that can be as powerful as you need it to be.
What do you dislike about the product?
It doesn't have a big user base and isn't widely known. It looks like it will be edged out by Microsoft Loops if it doesn't continue to differentiate itself.

Help me keep my notes for training and reference to specific programming scripts organised and easily retrievable.
Great documentation tool that makes cross team collaboration much easier

Notion offers everything in one place, with integration with other tools like github and Jira.

It's sometimes confusing for beginners to edit and it tends to be slow when we want to copy certain texts.

What do you like best about the product?
I love using notion. I have always been a huge fan of using this for note taking in nursing school, but the newly added AI feauture is incredibly helpful. I use it all the time to answer questions, create outlines, structure my essays, and to generate quick notes on topics discussed in class.

Nothing. I love notion. It is truly a great product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When I need to take notes quickly in class it can be hard when I don't hear the information or I don't type fast enough. The AI feature helps me so much by finishing up the notes and even giving me sample quiz questions so I can test my knowledge.

Some directives are misunderstood as far as the point of view and intention for the copy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion is solving the 'problem' of my typing speed, lol. It also adds perspective to my work by drawing on the wealth of internet research on writing. One think that I hate, sorry, yes HATE bout Notion is that it will not let me 'tell' my true memoir because it states that my content is 'inappropriate' . I am extremely offended and disheartened because the reason I purchased the software was to WRITE MY BOOK.

I like how easy it is to filter things, and I love using the new Notion AI tool for ideas when copywriting

I wish that they had a better system for exporting pages as PDF's, where you can style them up a bit

I don't really like how hard is it to start something from scratch or adapt the existing template to your needs and truly use it to the fullest potential. The mobile app has improved recently a lot but can be more smooth. Also, Ai features can be more flexible and be used in connection with existing blocks, for example: "Create a competitor analysis by x categories in a database view" or "Create a timeline view of the plan above" This would be extremely cool. I would be also open to participating in more in-depth interviews cause I am a big fan of the product and want it to improve.

Helps me to outline project briefs, manage projects with kanban and timeline views, plan for the future and I really love using ai to assist me with research and planning, however, I feel like it needs a lot of in-depth information which "I don't know what I don't know" before I get the result. And then I have to regenerate stuff again and again
