Saves me so much time!
What do you like best about the product?
Notion has giving me a way to organize my life and make things significantly easier. And forgetting less I'm getting more done and I'm doing everything I wanted to do. It's been great
What do you dislike about the product?
This isn't a notion problem but sometimes I'm not putting things in the right places. So it just gets back to organization. Notion has so much functionality that it's almost hard to decide what I want to do haha. My dislikes aren't about notion it's about me not making it my life easier
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Organization. Capturing and archiving information. Then being able to recall faster than anything I've tried before.

The easy navigation and layout of the application.

I enjoy everything about the app, I don't think it requires any improvement.

What do you like best about the product?
I like using Notion because of its ability to act as an all in one hub for my life. I can store meeting notes in my workspace, keep my budget updated, and plan projects all without having to jump from app to app.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a learning curve when starting out using the Notion platform. It can be a bit overwhelming when trying to get your workspace set up, but the template gallery has been helpful in that regard.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion helps me keep all the major components of my life organized, which leads to improved efficiency. I can better keep track my progress towards goals

multiple templates for work and life; rapid sync between laptops and mobile.

some AI function might clash sometimes. for example cannot type in AI box or didnt save automatically so cannot track next time.

What do you like best about the product?
Unlike other tools, the customisation yet simplicity of collaborated spaces with organisations is excellent for sorting knowledge and research papers. The new AI makes this even easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
Moving from another service (google suite) it would have been good to be able to convert docs and sheets to pages inside of notion. UNfortunately, you have to actually download the files and upload them, sometimes causing formatting errors.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion as a wiki has been an excellent implementation for us and our office; previously, using Google Suite, the searching and organising of files and research papers was much less user-friendly and practical. With Notion, within 2 or 3 clicks, we can arrive precisely at what we want. The AI Writing Assistant is excellent too.
First impressions of Notion AI
What do you like best about the product?
As a software engineer, I have used Notion in multiple companies and always found it very useful, so I was curious to try Notion AI. It's quite good at summarising and writing reports based on content you provide. The most interesting use I have found is in testing data structures. I can provide a decription of a process e.g. make a cup of tea, and a example data structure, and it will create a data structure of making a cup of tea. I use it to highlight logical inconsistencies and ambiguities in both the defintion and data structure (as it works vice versa too).
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't managed to get it to produce anything that I would actually use in code, but its been an interesting exploration. Unfortunately we've maxed out the free use of Notion AI before I have managed to demonstrate a case for paying for it, so that's the end of that!

It's most useful as a knowledge base. Our documentation has improved through use of Notion

I love the simplicity of dumping content, sharing it and integrating with other tools
What do you dislike about the product?
hard to learn. with so many options, you need to take your time to understand the hierarchy of content. and pricing could be better for teams.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Data kept in our brains is volatile. Dump it to notion easily and fast. Multiple projects, from personal home care to having a band and work projects, become easy to maintain with customizable layouts and WYSIWYG-style content writing.
Learning how to use Notion has been a game-changer for me
What do you like best about the product?
Ability to create, simple but effective homebases for projects, tasks, and notes. Have been following the Building a Second Brain framework with it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Tasks is a little clunky. They've gotten setup in multiple places that makes it hard to track everything.

time management, tracking ideas, collaborating async on complex projects

I think the best part is it's fast and can sync across all the divices without any additional steps.

I have to connect to the internet in order to use motion, which is troublesome.

I like how it's easy to use, have many different pages, very organized. I love to toggle feature, it's really helpful for studying. All around good

I wish you wouldn't have to change the font on every page and you could just set a default (that you want) once for everything
