Outstanding Experience with Powerful Features

  • December 10, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Notion is a great space for building a personal repository or knowledge base for personal or professional use. The signing-up and setting-up processes are almost frictionless and take a few minutes. Having both desktop and mobile apps is a handy feature I appreciate when implementing.

Since I am a "common user", I only had to contact Customer Support (once) for billing reasons. They were really helpful and provided me with a step-by-step email to solve my problem.

I really like the possibilities and potential outcomes of the "SPACES" or "DATABASES" features, since I can have both personal, professional and one-time projects in the same platforms. Many leading cloud services and programs can be easily integrated into the spaces, which streamlines my workflow.

That's why I use Notion almost daily for a wide variety of tasks, from preparing a packing list for a family trip that I can use before, during and after the trip to meeting notes I can share effortlessly with colleagues and supervisors. I really like how easy is to "duplicate" those notes to create an edited/updated/revised version to share with clients or other external stakeholders. Currently, I use Notion as an internal knowledge base to organise our SOPs and onboarding information for potential new employees, as we plan to hire in Q3 2026.
Finally, I'd really like the AI Notetaker for both virtual and in-person meetings, since it handles my three work languages (Spanish, English and Italian) effortlessly, providing both an accurate transcription and a streamlined task list.
What do you dislike about the product?
At first glance, the structure can seem complex for some users. It takes a little while to get used to it.

Also, the keyboard shortcuts could confuse users who depend heavily on the mouse. However, after a couple of entries and some experimentation, I came to appreciate this feature.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sharing information with others effortlessly while controlling exactly who and when has access to it.

Versatile and Customizable, But Could Be Faster

  • December 10, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Notion for daily task planning, and I appreciate how it helps me solve the problem of not being consistent. I really like that it's like everything in one and is easily accessible with syncing capabilities. The templates and design stand out because they help save time and effort, and they're customizable. Switching to Notion from physical daily planners has been a big plus because online planners are more convenient, easy to use, and customizable too. I found setting up Notion to be as easy as driving a car.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be faster, the offline mode kicks in which delays, and the pages aren't switched soon.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion solves my consistency issue with task planning. It's like everything in one, easily accessible, and synced. I love the templates and design which save time and effort. Switching from physical planners to Notion made things more convenient and customizable.

Efficient Organization, But Needs Better Collaboration

  • December 10, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like how Notion organizes all content for clients neatly, removing the hassle of having to create new docs for each week. I appreciate the toggle lists and how neat they look, and I like how I can make multiple toggle lists inside each.
What do you dislike about the product?
Notifications and collaboration. I don’t get notifs for docs even when I’ve specifically turned them on. Collaboration is also difficult. I’d prefer something more like Google Docs or what ClickUp offers. There’s nothing for live collab. I’m expecting something more like Google Docs or what ClickUp offers. Setting up the whole template was quite time consuming.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion organizes all client content neatly and removes the hassle of creating new docs weekly.

All-in-One Organization with Powerful Relational Databases

  • December 10, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can get rid of all my other scattered notes and start to have everything in one place. What makes that work best for me is to be able to create relational databases. I used to work with FileMaker Pro at my job years ago and didn't think I would be able to make something like work for my personal business, but Notion has been a lovely surprise.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I don't like about Notion, now that I have upgraded to using Notion AI, is that messing around with it has become too fun. It can be a time suck making my Notion so complete and then making it pretty on top.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As an indie author, I’ve found that the world of self-publishing has become more and more complex. To keep track of all the metadata required for my work—including details for several books, in different languages and formats, across various sales platforms—with the help of the AI assistant, I built a Notion database. I refer to it as my Ultimate Author Dashboard.

Versatile and User-Friendly Workspace Solution

  • December 10, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like Notion's user-friendly UI, which makes it easy to navigate and use. I also appreciate that it just does the job, and I'm happy with it. Notion serves as an all-in-one workspace, combining note-taking, documentation, task management, and database handling into one platform, so I don't need separate apps for notes, tasks, and project tracking. The blocks-based editing allows me to create structured pages like wikis and project plans. Custom databases like tables, lists, and kanban boards are useful, and having multiple views for the same data, such as tables or calendars, is flexible and helpful. The pre-built templates for tasks and roadmaps save me time. I also value how it supports team collaboration with shared workspaces and integrates various media like PDFs and videos. Its aesthetic and flexible design lets me customize pages visually, and it integrates well with other tools like Google Drive and calendar apps for a seamless workflow.
What do you dislike about the product?
Large databases can slow down. When you have many pages, complex relations, or heavy media, the workspace may lag. Not ideal for fast, handwritten, or messy note-taking; apps like OneNote are better for quick scribbling or drawing. Learning curve; because it’s customizable, beginners may feel overwhelmed at first. Offline support is weaker; Notion is mostly cloud-dependent and less efficient offline. Not a full project-management tool; it can handle tasks, but lacks advanced features like deep automation, workload management, Gantt dependencies, etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to plan my studies, with an AI assistant managing my tasks based on attention span. It combines note-taking, task management, and databases in one workspace, and its blocks-based editing and custom databases make organizing easier.

Streamlines Note-Taking and Resource Gathering

  • December 10, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
For the most part, Notion is pretty easy to use. I feel like I know where I need to go for specific things, and it's a pretty organized platform. I use the page creation functionality a lot, which is where I have pages for each of my accounts and host notes and relevant information within them. I also use the Notion AI function to ask questions when I don't know the answers regarding internal processes or product knowledge.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish was a bit more built out for note-taking specifically - espcially notes from customer meetings/calls.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to keep organized in my book of business and manage customer accounts by organizing notes and quickly finding answers for internal processes and product knowledge.

Highly Customizable with Room for AI Improvement

  • December 10, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like Notion's organization and the unique way to create everything with my own pa zazzz. It's great for making a planner, adding transactions with just a click of a button instead of going back and forth. I also like how Notion AI can automatically add notes and saves not only my files but also reads my notes and summarizes them.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Notion AI sometimes doesn't understand what I ask it to do and ruins most of my templates. I want to use it with Google Drive and Gmail but I don't have a business. I think I pay enough for a student to allow us to use those while inside Notion, making it more accessible. With Notion AI, the initial setup didn't go very well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion eases my financial stress, tracks book progress, and stores my course notes for future reference.
