A great tool for therapists
What do you like best about the product?
My line of work is in behavioral health and I teach at a university. I use Notion almost daily to take notes, make my schedules, jot down ideas, and so much more. Notion is also very versatile and gives the user a sense of increased autonomy with how they want their notes to look like. The AI feature is probably one of the best features as of recent which helps with the creative thinking process.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am not a fan of subscription based services, but that is just the way that things are during these modern times. I would like to see more training with the AI feature so I can learn how to use it more efficiently.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion has helped me organize my thoughts into words. I was diagnosed with ADHD as an adult, so it has been hard trying to figure out a way that I can do my job efficiently in an organized manner.
Notion with AI
What do you like best about the product?
I've been using Notion for a year and am very satisfied. I've made some very cool templates for me and my collegues.
Now I've got an AI option inside Notion. It's awesome. I don't need to "teach" ChatGPT with a set of information. I can open some document/article and command AI: make a brief, make a technical requirement, create a TOS based on these conditions and many other options.

What do you dislike about the product?
If you use inline databases, you can't pop some data and make a pivot table. For example, I create a set of tasks for every project made with a template. I must contain all the tasks in one database to make some calculations. But I can't create and link these items when I create a new project. I need some way to take info from the inner tables. Sometimes it can't import information well. It doesn't know some types of documents to import: doc (not docX), .md and some others. It would be great to add some options to link and visualise connections between the docs (like in Obsidian). Potentially it can cover some of Miro's abilities (not just Mermaid for BPML or mind-maps).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It contains my plans, notes, some draft texts, business plans, project management system. It helps me in writing all types of text. It helps me to systemize and make some order in my docs and notes.
AI Writing Assistant Review
What do you like best about the product?
The amount of customization in viewing data, organizing my thoughts, and vision-boarding ideas.
What do you dislike about the product?
The fact that I can't organize groups in table view by date without having to sort them manually. I also wish that when I shared the table view via URL, projects inside that group would be visable. When I share it now, I can view associated projects via gallery view, but not when they're grouped together in table view.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Organizing my thoughts/to-dos, vision-boarding ideas, and creating quick content. The AI writing assistant especially is helping me shave off time writing and organizing data, so I can spend more time designing (which is my actual job).
Still on the fence
What do you like best about the product?
I like that it spit out a generic template. It's available with out any lag. The task bar also. Helps me sort my project. I find it similar to competitors. All the same
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the icons can change. And not being able to copy and paste easily why wouldnt it let download a pdf of cvs. Chat gpa does that, other that nothing else

...…so all gygyyiytrwy. I'm sure they are all very well aware that the only way they are able is by the way the world has changed in a very different direction
awesome product, especially for a remote team.
What do you like best about the product?
Notion has some advanced capabilities for organizing docs within our company. Our team relies on Notion to keep up-to-date with the progress of every team member's work. It also allows us to quickly provide feedback and doc reviews. We've also recently integrated all of our docs so that they tie into our quarterly OKRs.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is hard to keep track of when documents have gone stale. Our team has written custom scripts for this based on verification statuses. It would also be great for us to visualize timelines for when docs were created/last updated/verified/etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion helps us maintain a knowledge base of our work/WIP that is transparent to all team members as well as those in cross-functional teams. It also helps us keep track of work we did in the past, in case we need to revisit any old topics.
Powerful and Flexible, but Ultimately Confusing the Collaborate on
What do you like best about the product?
It's a really powerful platform, and the decision to model all elements similarly (databases, lists, paragraphs, views, etc) provides the user with a lot of flexibility in how to use it. For personal use, I'm a huge user of org-mode, and I see Notion as a very similar project that solves a lot of the problems that org-mode works around.
What do you dislike about the product?
The structure of notion is really confusing - because pages can be linked, it's not clear what a page's parent and subpages are. Traditional wikis, like Confluence, make it much easier to know where a conceptual "section" lives. For instance, say I wanted to navigate around my release engineering team's wiki. In Confluence, they would have a home page, and relevant sub-pages for various topics. In Notion, they may have a home page, but that home page will link out to other areas of notion, as well as subpages, and it's not clear which is which. The "boundaries" around sections in Notion are not clear, and that leads to difficulty organizing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion is my company's primary documentation engine and is where the vast majority of our knowledge base lives today. it is used for team pages, status updates, proposal documents, and even some dashboards.
Notion is THE biggest game changer when it comes to managing business & life!
What do you like best about the product?
Before Notion my business & personal admin were in chaos and although I tried several similar apps previously, nothing ever worked for me until I started using Notion. Being able to customize pages & layouts in so many ways has meant that I can finally create a system that works for me - I love it so much that I tell everyone to go & try it & use it as a platform to work with my clients too!
What do you dislike about the product?
There are very few things I don't like about Notion! However, I would like to be able to change the background colours of different pages/ sections in order to make the content easier to read & section off.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I didn't think I could rate Notion any higher but the new AI feature has undoubtedly changed this! Using AI as part of my Notion workflow has meant that I can save time, work more effectively, get support with my writing style & tone, & best of all Notion AI can do research for me and break down information into bullet points & summaries. As someone who struggles with these types of tasks but needs to complete them regularly as part of my workflow, Notion AI is super valuable to me & now I've got it I don't think I could go without!
Tough learning curve but now I'm obsessed
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to fully customize each page, database view, and blocks. I am constantly looking for new "tasks" and organizational apps, and the fact that I can make those edits myself is amazing.
What do you dislike about the product?
For me, there was a tough learning curve. I consider myself to be quite tech-savvy, and I understood Notion quite quickly, but in order to fully take advantage of the program, you need to put in some time and energy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm currently using Notion as a task & project manager for work, as well as a knowledge base and central location for personal information. I am also currently using Notion to plan my novel.
Very well
What do you like best about the product?
Super easy interface, comprehensive data and UX, a lot options of templates and use cases.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I feel overwhelmed to initiate a project because notion has a lot of options and ways to do the same things
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Project management, note taking and create some context for my videos.
Notion is my go-to life management app
What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy the ability to organize my thoughts, meetings, schedules, and notes in Notion.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the slow load times. Because of the tremendous amount of data I have stored in Notion, it sometimes takes me some time to find what I'm looking for.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion's AI writing assistant helps me with all my writing tasks. Everything from emails to invitations, and even poetry!
