A Versatile, Life-Changing Tool with Room for Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
I use Notion for almost everything, including personal notes, organizing, and databases. I really appreciate that it's free; it's seriously been a life changer for me. I like how I can put everything in one go, and it's visually nice and organized, which is amazing. I particularly value the database and formula features, as they're basically replacing Excel for me and making things look more neat.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was a way to check the relation/roll-up map, sometimes I get confused and have to replace quite a lot of pages. Initial setup is quite hard and takes a lot of time. I wish there are some officially approved templates to start from.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I put everything in one place with Notion. It's visually nice, organized, and amazing. It replaces Excel and makes everything neat.

I use it conveniently for meeting records at the university and for personal records. It allows me to compile information in a database-like manner, making centralized management easy. I also like that I can create templates easily and that it is easy to refer back to them later. Additionally, setting up Notion was simple.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are too many features, making it difficult to master. I would like suggestions or tutorials on features I don't usually use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
By using Notion, you can easily compile meeting records from university in a database-like manner. It facilitates centralized information management, makes creation easier with templates, and allows for easy reference later.

What do you like best about the product?
I love how Notion keeps us organized by making our info easily discoverable. It reduces the cognitive overhead of switching between multiple tools. The simplicity of Notion is the best thing about it, but I also appreciate the depth of flexibility for accessing our data in a specific format when needed. Integrating Notion with AI via the MCP server has been a game changer for us as a software company. The database feature and the ability to manage projects with to-do boards and timeline views are extremely helpful for handling our deliverables. Collaborating with others and checking version history is another aspect I enjoy, as it allows us to write documents together, comment on each other’s write-ups, and share documents outside our organization when necessary.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are times when Notion feels slow from a user experience standpoint. For instance, switching between organizations can take a few seconds. Any delays are unideal since they stall us from doing our actual work.

Notion keeps us organized, making information discoverable and reducing tool-switching overhead. Its integration with AI, flexible project management, and collaboration features like shared document writing and version history enhance our business processes.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the easy process of editing documents in Notion, which is pretty seamless compared to other documentation software. I also appreciate the markdown support that allows me to use familiar markdown syntax. Notion AI is another feature I enjoy because it makes it easier for me to understand other people's documents; it's an intelligent AI tool. Additionally, the initial setup of Notion was seamless.
What do you dislike about the product?
Copying markdown files from other sites doesn't perfectly render on Notion page when I paste it. I think that is crucial to support markdown files.

I use Notion for documenting project specs, technical specs, and other software development documentation. It helps me create software design, project scoping, and technical drafts seamlessly.

I like the collaborative nature of Notion. It's very easy for me to use, especially since much of it was already created when I joined the company, making it easy for me to add new pieces.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's a little confusing how to create pages and nest them appropriately. I should say when you create a new heading - do you wish to create a new page for this heading?

Keeps all the information I'm working on in a organized place. I use Notion every day. It is easy to set up and is user intuitive. Connected great with the rest of our stack.

I use Notion for official purposes in my workspace, and it really enhances my capabilities. I find its AI features incredibly valuable for writing assistance and staying consistent across multiple documents. It helps me format, improve, and stay organized. Notion is especially helpful for project managers, and I'm currently pursuing that role. I mostly use its AI to resolve and make documents, which makes my work much easier. Additionally, setting it up was VERY EASY.

Sometimes it hallucinates and takes data from my documents (private or non-useful), so I have to specify more repeatedly.

What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like how the formatting gets wonky when putting something in Notion. It would be easier if it could translate the format I already have documents in, instead of trying to reformat to its own default.
