A great way to organize your work and life
What do you like best about the product?
The easy way to produce multiple blog articles for my work, the tools and look you can use on your articles and turn them into a website. But, for me, Notion is currently the best tool on the market, especially in organizing the calendar and producing content.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have difficulties when I need to create tables and use some codes, there is no explicit step-by-step ideal to organize so well. You need to take a course or something to learn how to use formulas.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The artificial intelligence writing assistant is one of the main features of Notion that has been helping me with insights on how to deliver a message with the correct tone and impeccable writing. I can produce more in less time without losing quality.
Notion + Notion AI Review
What do you like best about the product?
The key benefit of Notion is how simple it is to create a text-focused database and to manipulate data within and between databases. While the rich text editing features and various functionalities (embeds and file uploads, for instance) make it a valuable small business project management tool for me, being able to create a database quickly is exceptionally powerful.
Notion AI is an excellent companion to the text-oriented project management capabilities of Notion. It's not like ChatGPT, and that's a good thing here: Notion appears to have trained its own AI variant to function in a Notion-like way, meaning that the focus is not on conversational input but on accurate commands that perform complex tasks quickly.
Notion AI Use Case Example:
A great example is editing video transcripts. The auto-created transcripts we get from our video host are full of errors, so I copy them into Notion and run a command "fix spelling and grammar and remove timestamps". (This command is also auto-saved as a frequently run command by Notion.) Notion AI fixes the errors in the transcript and interprets and reconstitutes sentence fragments and garbled text without rewriting the text. This function alone has saved me dozens of hours of manual work and has improved accessibility in our products.

What do you dislike about the product?
There have been a few instances in the past where I've struggled to get the rather obscure Functions aspect of databases to work properly. However, take this with a grain of salt, as I'm not a programmer nor good with algorithms. Perhaps it's easy and I'm just not the target brain type!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Small-scale project and business management. I first came to Notion because I needed far less than a tool like Asana, and I needed a completely uncluttered visual space. Notion is perfect because you start with a blank page. I also needed basic databases, nothing fancy, just arrays to store data in. Notion handles data exceptionally well and reliably. There is a database learning curve, but it's not awfully hard to get the hang of it, and Notion's documentation is superb.
Great Assitant to Personal Projects and Business
What do you like best about the product?
I love the customization for my workbooks and the blocks allowing me to create a digital workspace to organize my thoughts. I like the simplicity and its constant adjustments to better support users which is more than what can be said for Evernote, and OneNote.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that there were more color options for font and blocks that would allow me to have more visual interest for my workspace. If there were pastel or even custom colors I would be happier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeps me organized, Notion helps me visualize my entire project scope and manage my time well. It's great for keeping track of mini details for any of my creative work.
Notion is the best productivity software on the go, even for academic and professional purposes.
What do you like best about the product?
You add multiple spreadsheets and notes on a single page. You can access your notetakings across any device whenever and at any time. You can add all tasks on a single page which makes you productive at school and work.
What do you dislike about the product?
Notion does not support authentication by mobile number if you lose access to your email and forget your password. You won't be able to retrieve your access anymore.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion is benefiting me by doing deep user market research on what their uses need, to further improve its services along with their security in terms of confidential information inserted to Notion Software.
An essential tool for my newsletter writing
What do you like best about the product?
I love the default prompt and how it keeps my prompt history just a click away. I am using Notion AI to convert all my highlights and captured podcast transcripts into advice and summaries to use later in my newsletter. This has increased my efficiency in writing my newsletter significantly.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing missing is AI-based search and intelligent linking of text across different pages based on their context. I want Notion to serve me as a second brain.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Making me x10 faster in writing my newsletter and providing a really good rewrite of the existing text base on the style of my favourite authors.
Great performance that boosts your work
What do you like best about the product?
The easy interface and connection between database. The AI assistant is magic.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is no native way to graph, this is a heavy restriction for dashboards and status reporting.

Order problems for topics, views and responsable.

What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes on my phone when I try to move the cursor up the page, it will not move it to where I ask. For example if I click the top of the page when my cursor is at the bottom, it wojld unlikely take me there first click.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solves when I get stuck trying to write a big chunk of text. AI helps me break it down and experiment with loads of different ways of writing. It makes my work way more correct and presentable.
Powerful notetaker for overcoming the writer's block, albeit with a learning curve.
What do you like best about the product?
Notion AI has been a revelation. It helps me break the writer's block by generating a AI-written 'first draft'. A powerful tool that can be as simple or complex as you like.
What do you dislike about the product?
Being flexible has its flip side. Notion takes some tinkering at the beginning to begin figuring out its potential. Not for someone who wants a working system out of the box.

Notion AI is great for brainstorming ideas and breaking through the writer's block. I use it for learning new topics and complex terms. It's like having a tutor right at my finger tips.
Near infinite possibilities
What do you like best about the product?
I love being able to create a beautiful and functional digital planner for every area of my life in one place and easily change it whenever I need too. There is no permanent commitment to my design choices so there is no fear of 'doing it wrong'. When my life changes, my notion changes with me. Large projects and endless assignments become small, manageable tasks, and Notion AI helps me brainstorm endless ideas for writing, research, and outlining new pages for my planner.
What do you dislike about the product?
As a student, my planner changes every semester as my classes and assignments change. Currently, I delete every database (calendar views, table views, list views) that I use to track my due dates and events and the next semester I re make them. Instead of deleting an entire database, individual views or every single page / task (as I may have up to 9 views in each, one for every class, or dozens of assignments) it would be easier if I could simply 'clear the database' of all pages and tasks within it or even clear them based on certain tags I have created, so I can continue to use it and only change the name of each class / view in that data base.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For not taking : I have always struggled with using standard paper and pencil methods of taking notes, as I feel like I have to plan ahead for every picture, diagram, and additional notes I want to take outside of class. The permanence and over all finality of hand written notes is limiting and confining and other digital formats are too difficult and time consuming to re organize. Notion is so much easier and faster to edit, especially when I can simply ask AI or organize what I have typed in a page based of any number of criteria or format I tell it to.
On project management: physical planners are always so pretty and neat but my schedule ranges from having nothing to plan for 3 months of the year, to changing tasks and events every other day, so standard planners feel impossible to keep up with and wasteful. Notion is digital so no there is no waste of unused product and I can use it as a school planner for half the year, easily changing the order and due dates of assignments, and in the summer I can continue to use it just for my own personal writing and keeping track of things I need to do at home. And if I don't plan anything for a month, I don't have to feel like I wasted a planner.
On Notion AI : During my finals week of school there was so much information to sort through and study but using Notion AI to create study guides based on my own notes was a lot faster and gave me more time to actually study those notes. I also used it to find potential reference works that I could not locate on my own, or that would take me several hours to search for such specific criteria online. As a creative writer of fantasy, I often want to find stories of mythology regarding certain deities or other characters but without having specific names of those stories, the internet only really gives me the most popular or well know stories, but notion AI can quickly generate a list of stories where they have been mentioned or even a list of stories including a particular description of the character. This makes it so much easier for me to focus my research on relevant works instead of reading endless papers and stories for days.

Great for Small Businesses
What do you like best about the product?
I love the collaborative, ever-evolving nature of Notion. Notion is very user-friendly and adaptable for all skill sets. This task management system is great for people just starting out or already well-established. The AI function is such an asset for our small team!
What do you dislike about the product?
Notion lacks certain features that would allow for better security and function for teams with recurring work types, payments, etc. I do appreciate that the Notion team is regularly working on solutions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion allows our various team departments to keep track of workloads with high visibility and storage of relevant information. We are able to adjust and create databases that work for us with this highly customizable platform.
