Great for Collaboration, But Can Be Complex

  • April 29, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like being able to share the document to a public URL quickly. And I like some of the templates I've come across.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think some of the data management can be a little restrictive, especially with bigger tables of data. I've tried to organize my journals into a system, but it doesn't end up working out very well. There's also a little friction with templates being too opinionated, and a blank setup feels too intimidating and unclear. It would be helpful to have more suggestive features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion allows me to create collaborative, shareable documents that can be quickly edited.

All-in-One, User-Friendly Workspace with Great AI

  • April 29, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Everything I need is in one place, so it’s easy for me to find templates, documents, and other resources that are relevant to me. It’s very user-friendly overall, and the AI is good.
What do you dislike about the product?
There’s nothing I dislike, per se, about Notion. That said, even though it’s very user-friendly, it still takes a while to learn, get familiar with, and feel confident navigating through it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion is the source of truth for pretty much any question I have. If I don’t know something and I can’t get a response from somebody, 9/10 it’s in Notion. Helps me be more productive and self sufficient

Perfect for Efficient Collaboration and Organization

  • April 29, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really like how in Notion, you can structure different pages with different headings and segments, making it easier to navigate. There's also a lot of functionality available with shortcuts, which allows us to work more effectively compared to other tools like Google Docs or Word. I also find it faster, and the toggle headings feature is great because it allows important but non-priority information to be tucked away, making it optional for readers to dive into if they choose. Additionally, I didn't have any onboarding documentation for Notion, but I was able to figure it out very quickly on my own.
What do you dislike about the product?
Can make more keyboard shortcuts
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to make notes accessible for everyone. It lets multiple people access and edit documents, creating company policies and SOPs. Its page structuring and shortcuts help us work faster than tools like Google Docs, improving navigation and efficiency.

Super User-Friendly for Marketing Teams

  • April 29, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really like how easy Notion is to organize and how user-friendly it is. The initial setup of Notion was super easy for us. It's very user friendly. It's very easy to share a script or something with my small team of three to four people. I just write it, share the link, and anyone else on Notion can access, edit, or rewrite it. It helps us all work together.
What do you dislike about the product?
Maybe if i share it with someone who does not have notion then they can not access it
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion keeps everything in one place for my marketing team. It organizes our content and data, making collaboration easy. I can share scripts effortlessly, and our team can access, edit, and rewrite content together.

Intuitive Interface That Makes Note Organization Easy

  • April 29, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The interface is intuitive, and it’s easy to organize notes using toggles and keyboard shortcuts.
What do you dislike about the product?
The table options are missing a lot of toggles and it’s not easy to use features like toggles, to-do lists, or tables on smartphones.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For me, it’s all about the organization. I love the fact that you can create a page inside another page, and within that page you can break things down even further with more notes or lists.

Powerful Customization, But Steep Learning Curve

  • April 29, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about Notion is that it offers me a clean and open surface for thinking, writing, and planning my things. The customization it offers is great, allowing me to create pages, arrange them wherever needed, and collaborate seamlessly, which is really nice. I can share my work, make comments, and mention my colleagues, and I love that. Notion helps me efficiently manage everything by integrating it with daily workflows. The AI works directly within my pages, tasks, and databases, so I don't have to switch tools repeatedly, and it takes the context from my workspace and connected apps, helping me turn my ideas into finished work. It provides a single source of truth for teams working towards the same goals, enabling us to do it together. The customer integrations and the concept of a single source of truth are aspects I truly value. I really enjoy how we are using Notion as a connected workspace for our company, sharing documents and documentation which helps onboard new colleagues effectively. And the platform genuinely becomes an indispensable tool as you start using it more.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel like the Notion has a steep learning curve. There's a bit of complexity in the template creation and the initial structure setup. It's kind of time-consuming. I also think if the AI could assist more with the initial setup, it would be beneficial for new users. It would make specialized features more understandable for them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion provides a single source of truth for teams, integrating with daily workflows. It helps turn ideas into finished work without switching tools. The clean, open surface is great for thinking, writing, and planning, with seamless collaboration and customization.

Flexible Nested Databases, Handy Automations, and a Strong Template Community

  • April 29, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use it extensively both at work and in my personal life. I really like the nested, clear database structure, which gives me a lot of flexibility when setting up custom projects. I also love using it to create simple automations and short briefs for projects. The community is definitely a big plus as well, especially when I can use templates to kick off new pages.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it’s hard to get other teammates to use it extensively, because there’s a high perceived entry barrier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion has helped me keep my life and work organised. It’s become my central brain for both complex marketing campaigns and day-to-day life, whether I’m tracking home renovation projects or managing multi-stakeholder campaigns.

Great for Collaboration, But Needs More Built-In Features

  • April 29, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like how Notion allows us to work collaboratively, especially since I work from home along with other team members. It enables us to see projects, collaborate, answer questions, pose questions, and keep things moving forward. We have team spaces within Notion, like a marketing space, sales, and technology, which helps organize our projects efficiently. I also appreciate how we use it as a space to log meeting minutes, making it easy to refer back to them. We also have spaces within it which are a knowledge library for the company where new starter information or other reference materials can be accessed easily.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find it frustrating that Notion doesn't include meeting minutes in the plan we have, and upgrading would have been significant. It would be better if this feature was included for free. Also, the initial setup wasn't easy - you really get out what you put in, which means spending quite a bit of time building up the knowledge libraries and setting up team spaces.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion as a project management tool for collaborative work and to log meeting minutes. It helps keep things moving with team spaces like marketing and sales, and serves as a company library for easy reference.
