Transformative Tool for Organization and Integration
What do you like best about the product?
I love using Notion for everything in my HR and operations role, like to-do lists, project management, documentation, and forms. The form feature is really helpful because it replaced my need for Google Forms and keeps the information organized and on the same page as the content the form is related to. I find the database feature impressive as it's like having an Excel spreadsheet within a Word document with endless nesting possibilities, which makes it a very powerful and diverse tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's easy to break things in Notion. When we first implemented it, we didn't do a great job with adoption or understanding its key capabilities, so there's a lingering perception that it's messy or hard to find things. While I don't personally think that, it's important to implement correctly. It's also easy to not understand how things have gone wrong or why something isn't working, but I'm less worried now because of the AI innovations they've introduced.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion for organizing everything, from to-do lists and project management to documentation and forms. It helps me visualize, structure, and manage all my tasks, turning chaos into a synthesized format. It's perfect for resolving disorganization and supports process documentation well.
Customizable and Centralized, But Can Improve in Automation
What do you like best about the product?
I love Notion because it is my professional control center. Its flexibility to build custom systems is impressive, as it doesn't force me to work under a rigid structure. I can design databases, relationships, and dashboards exactly as I need them, which turns organization into a true operating system. Additionally, it allows me to create custom systems with relationships and dynamic views that really adapt to my way of working. I also enjoy how it integrates with other tools to automate workflows and keep everything centralized in one place, which is invaluable. The initial setup was simple and although understanding its true potential took more time, it was worth it.
What do you dislike about the product?
When databases grow significantly, performance can become slower and some native automations still fall short, making the use of specialized external tools mandatory.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion solves the dispersion of information and the lack of operational visibility. It centralizes processes, calendars, and documentation in a single system, avoiding rework and errors. Its flexibility allows me to design customized systems, integrating tools and automating workflows, adapting to my way of working.
Versatile and easy for databases, but requires training to make the most of it
What do you like best about the product?
I like the versatility it offers for creating databases and, in addition, being able to add information and tags easily.
What do you dislike about the product?
You need training to make the most of the utilities. Templates help, but if you want to create your own model, you do need to read all the documentation. Also, the AI chat has too much priority and becomes annoying when you haven't subscribed to it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ease of being able to create databases and make annotations to document projects
Order and productivity: very useful AI and excellent recording of Meets
What do you like best about the product?
the platform gives me order and the AI is extremely useful, especially the recording of meets, a great tool
What do you dislike about the product?
it can have more graphical functionalities, make it more visual.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
order in the management of my projects
Versatile Tool with Templates and Direct Collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
I use Notion in many ways: to consult the company handbook, to create projects and see my coworker's projects, to keep track of the blogs I've written, and to monitor company KRs. I really like that I can export comparison tables from GPT, give them an appealing format, and upload them as part of my content, which would not be as visually appealing on Google Sheets. I love the templates in Notion because I don't have to start from scratch; it provides a complete database that enables me to get going. I also like the tagging function, which allows me to tag teammates or assign deadlines directly in the databases, saving a lot of back-and-forth communication through email. Additionally, Notion is connected to Slack and email, so I get notifications.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish Notion AI was free. Confusing because it was so open. But after a couple of days using it I got the hang of it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to consult the company handbook, manage projects, track blogs, and monitor KRs. It lets me create visually appealing content from exported tables, use templates to avoid starting from scratch, and tag teammates in databases to reduce email back-and-forth.
