The Productivity Tool I've Always Wanted
What do you like best about the product?
Notion works how my brain does — or in tandem with it, anyway. It's a database of everything I may need now or in the future for work and personal items. Oddly, Google's workspace solutions are less organizable and searchable than you'd imagine. Notion is feature-packed but bare-bones regarding the actual documents and organization structures inside. No distractions, no unnecessary extras. And the development team has worked on adding requested features like offline syncing. Gotta love that.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some quirks, like when opening the mobile app, it returns to whatever was last open. This sounds intuitive to continue whatever you were working on, but in a mobile sense, I'm usually rushing to update something or jot down an idea before I lose it. Not only does opening any previously accessed database not give me a clear path to wherever I'm trying to go, but there are often loading delays that mean it shows me the home page, I try to click into a favorited database, but as I do that it's loading the previous one. Then multiple screens errantly jump around and I end up sometimes tapping on things I didn't mean to because I wasn't fast enough (or was too fast?). Quirks like that are usability and quality of life adjustments that we have been asking for changes to that would be really nice, even if they were custom settings we could decide on.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I manage a lot of content for clients and my own projects, as well as my own freelance business (invoicing, project tracking, etc). This has been the ultimate tool in having one place to manage everything without it feeling entirely convoluted like other platforms.
Fantastic university study tool
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to easily organise my university work and separate my lecture notes from study notes. Also very useful when writing essays for source collation and essay planning.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's perhaps a bit of learning curve when you first download the app, there's a lot of different features to discover and the getting the hang of the different tabs can be difficult.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Incredibly useful for correcting grammar and improving the quality of writing whether it be lecture notes or essays. Also the ability to ask questions within the notion app using the Ai feature increases productivity as you don't need to switch between Google tabs, it provides fast answers for simple questions and clarification on things.

Notion allows me to organize my files into the most micro subsections which is extremely helpful for visualizing and planning projects
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be difficult to set up at first and the highlighting colours are quite dull

Helps keep track of dates and information relevant to certain projects
Notion overall and AI integration
What do you like best about the product?
I love Notion's flexibility. You can build in all the features you want, keep things more minimalistic, or get as complicated and detailed as you like. The ability to share with others even if they don't use Notion is a gigantic benefit and lowers the bar for entry.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes there's a start-up cost to learning to do new things in Notion, like formulas or other features I might not even know about. This is helped via the templates and tutorials on the web though. Perhaps the help materials officially done by Notion can be more interactive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solves the problem of having your stuff across many different apps and spaces. The ability to pull together different things and have pages within pages is game-changing. I suspect that there are even more powerful ways to use features that I'm not currently taking advantage of. I also adore the ability that it gives to jump from high level stuff to the weeds. I usually do this by making most chunks of information into toggle menus so I can see an outline and hide details, but can expand with a click and dive back into the weeds.

What do you like best about the product?
Notion is by far my favorite AI tool for formatting documents as I go. I often am using a bulk amount of data and when pasting places I used to have to take a lot of time to format better. Notion AI is the first AI tool that I have found that can accomplish this.
What do you dislike about the product?
Every so often the AI tool just does not want to work. I will submit the same prompt that was used before and it just gives no response. It never makes sense because it is the same prompt that it just did well with - I think it happens more often with bigger documents
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to organize my information for studying for dental school - it allows me to quickly format correctly with AI tools as well as creating flashcards/practiceq questions based on the notes on the page

What do you like best about the product?
This helps me a lot when I have no idea and tried to brainstorming and organizing. And it does it's work very good!

I think Notion should be able to give a option for user to keep their input

The notion is solving a problem of future plan on my life such as trip or vacation,and it's benefit because it is well organized and
User experience
What do you like best about the product?
Structure is good, can manage the pages effectively, also embedded AI functions is super easy to use. Overall experience is good and one thing needs improvement is sometimes the AI is not responsive.
What do you dislike about the product?
The membership fee is a bit high. It's not applying GPT 4 as the AI engine, which limited a lot functionality of it. Once you create the page as table you cannot redo it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can manage all kinds of tasks or TODO list in Notion AI. WHich is good to use, I can ask AI to answer my questions then save it as the notes, which allows me to manage everything in one place.
Notion plus AI took my workflow and productivity to the next level
What do you like best about the product?
I'm able to keep a lot of my development of ideas within notion and don't have to jump through using multiple programs i.e. excel or use tons of google page searches.
What do you dislike about the product?
Notion is a great tool, and I believe page and teamspaces arrangement could be better organized.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion solves the problem of basically having an assistant be able to organize information for you. I can probably collate the data I need to answer a specific business question in a third of the time now.
Great collaboration tool
What do you like best about the product?
Simple yet powerful. Very clean experience when creating docs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Can leave a lot of unnecessary 'Untitled' notes in its wake.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed a collaborative space to write dev docs and share notes. Google Docs was a pain and not suited for collaboration.

What do you like best about the product?
Notion is both simple and thorough, providing just the amount of control and customization to help anyone organize their life and goals, no matter how detailed or vague.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sharing pages without a premium account is a laborious affair, making it difficult to connect with others on your page. AI is helpful in most cases but sometimes flags things as violent when it's just descriptive prose. As a writer of horror and fantasy roleplaying games, this prevents AI from helping me where I need it most.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's accepting large bases of data in every area of my life and helping me organize it in a different ways. This lets me approach menial and serious tasks with greater insight and ease.
