How Notion has become my go-to for organizing work and personal life
What do you like best about the product?
What I like about Notion is how it lets me make personalized templates. This feature has made me more productive by giving a clear structure to my tasks and projects. Plus, the inline linking feature is great for keeping related content organized.
What do you dislike about the product?
Notion's offline functionality is limited, which has caused some difficulties when I'm working in areas without internet access. This constraint occasionally hampers my productivity and forces me to find alternative solutions.

I use Notion to write my class notes and when I don't know a term I just look in with AI and it saves me time, as I don't have to google it.

What I love about Notion is the flexibility, I can easy switch between my phone and mac when it comes to writing notes. This means that I never miss anything important. I now have my reading list on there too. I am loving the Notion AI too, sometimes a blank page can be intimidating so it can give you a head start!

I don't have too many bad words to say about notion other than not my whole company uses it.

Notion is really helping me to build out my knowledge base. I am in my first leadership position now and this is serving as a great tool for me to build out our product processses. Also its a great place to have my reading list.

I used to be all over the place, Some documents I wanted tables inside it some I just wanted text, So to use Google sheets or docs seprately was hectic. Hence notion helped

the organisation, the AI and the customisability. notion is really useful for notes and other short pages as well as longer documents or essays like google docs

the fact that you can't change the width of docs as well as only being able to change the font for the whole doc. also the fact that it doesnt allow you add words to the dictionary. spell check is weird. you cant have other content on a page with a database on it

I'm a student and notion helps me organise all the different types of notes and documents and essays that being a student requires. it also means i can keep other admin aspects of student life in the same place to help me stay more organised

I really appreciate how Notion is able to replace my need for Evernote. It's great to have a tool that has so many features that can help me keep organized and be productive. It's like having an all-in-one workspace where I can take notes, create to-do lists, and collaborate with others.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing that bugs me about Notion is the way it handles text. Instead of treating text notes as text, Notion makes it so that I have to drag paragraphs independently or copypaste which is time-consuming and annoying.
Another thing I've noticed is that Notion is more of a desktop experience, which might not be for everyone. It's still available on mobile, but it just doesn't work as well.
Finally, with Notion AI, it's unclear what text will be replaced, it doesn't work on mobile, and instructions could be clearer.

Notion is helping me keep all my notes in the cloud and it's platform independent.
It also has AI feature to help me reword my notes so that they look better, so sometimes I use it to reword emails etc. until Microsoft copilot is released.
