- I have been using a physical bullet journal and realized that Notion is an up-leveled version of bullet journal because it can sync to all my devices.
- I have ADHD, and having a designated place for everything is crucial - Notion can do that.
- When clients throw bits and pieces of information on a project, I can pop them into one of my categories and stay organized.

Great for organising my life and work tasks
What do you like best about the product?
great usage of databases, tables, charts, calendars and much more! AI integration has been an absolute game changer for me and is well worth the extra few bucks!
What do you dislike about the product?
Page customisation maybe? Theres honestly so much you can do but you cant do things like centre or other super basic things in word documents or sheets (unless i cant find them, in which case i apologise!)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps me organise my work, including tasks and projects as well as deadlines i need to hit. Is also super useful as you can create pages and export them as a PDF so you can create super effective coaching resources and easily share them.
Great for simple databases, poor export capabilities
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Notion provides a great "second brain" data warehouse for my work and ideas. I am currently learning how to use it and have come to appreciate the wide variety of keyboard shortcuts and relative simplicity of the interface. I like that it does not look and feel all shiny polished-up (and iOS-like) the way some alternatives do. Feels more like a blank canvas and less constricted, even though there is still a lot of room for improvement.
What do you dislike about the product?
One area which drives me nuts are the dismal export capabilities. And I'm not just talking about the lack of ability to copy and paste the entire contents of a page into an externmal editor. I am referring to the compelte inability to even export anything as RTF. This feels intentional and is seriously handicaps the user's ability to integrate Notion into their workflow if they use other apps, like I do. This prevents the user from being able to expoert to or even copy and paste the entire contents of a page into Wordpress, for example. Native Wordpress integration would be FANTASTIC. The Wordpress blocks editor is great - and you can easily copy and paste the contents of a Word doc into it. Not possible from Notion. Frankly, this feels intetntional, and it stinks.
The Notion ai is a good start, but it feels very early/underdeveloped and consistently lacks sophistication and accuracy in its responses. Significant errors in the data it pulls in are common. For example, when asking about a movie, it described the movie as "upcoming" and pending release, but the film came out two years ago. This type of mistake is common. The responses lack the sophistication I have seen in other ai products, and literally every single response requires significant massaging with multiple follow-up prompts to be anywhere near useable in copy, and even then they will require deep editing. Notion's AI is best for mining data and doing research. Producing workable copy is not its strong suit - which is a shame, as my application requires lots of good copy. I find myself spending an enormous amount of time editing anything it produces before it can be used in a document or blog post. This feels like an AI in preschool. It needs to grow up and be trained and its "cognitive" abilities need to grow and mature--it really sounds like a child is behind the curtain sometimes. ChatGPT produces responses which can be read without feeling like you are reading something written by an school-aged child doing a research project for the science fair. The constant massaging of responses is tiresome and frustrating--and it never seems to produce a result I am happy with. Lots of work to do here, Notion.

Notion provides a centralized warehouse of ideas and simple project plans. For example, notion is great at keeping track of things in simple databases. Most of what I am using Notion four consists of relatively flat, databases and research projects. I have attempted to use it for project management, but found its p.m. tools lacking. I feel like Notion is very early stage, and for it to be an effective p.m. tool, someone at Notion needs to go play with Microsoft project and Asana for a while. Also, some thing I would love to see in Notion would be native mind maps. Free, floating bubbles connected to each other would be wonderful. The blank canvas look of Notion is an illusion. Everything must snap to grid, and it would be great is we truly had free reight over each page's workspace, perhaops with the ability to turn a "snap to grid" feature on and off.
Productivity skyrockets
What do you like best about the product?
Having all documents in one space. Ease of switching between multiple workspaces. All the different integrations, ways to style documents, the design, ease of collaboration, and new AI
What do you dislike about the product?
Difficulty in having side by side pages. This should be built in without having to right click and position the two windows yourself. Also I think there should be more options when exporting a document
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Central database for product information and documentation.
Ease of writing and rewriting paragraphs with notion AI
Different project management tools to manage time and tasks between multiple users

Still learning all it's use cases but it's already been a game changer for me
What do you like best about the product?
Notion AI has been beneficial in providing templates to work from when writing my cover letters and resumes by. Overall, I've found Notion AI to be a valuable tool in streamlining my job search process when tailoring my resume to a job description. I also figured out how to use it to create readme.md for my GitHub repos by providing it with my source code. When I have to write a LinkedIn post or respond to emails with a specific tone in my mind Notion AI is again to the rescue. I've also used it to create documentation for all sorts of uses cases requiring code blocks and explanations.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I get an error when making the request and must carefully structure my instructions. But I also haven't read any instructions and strictly use this on the fly. I could probably reduce the occurrence of errors by reading the actual documentation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Organizing my notes, and organizing my job search helps with writing articles or documentation, fills in gaps when attempting to write code, saves me hours searching on google,
Changed my life
What do you like best about the product?
The UI is almost perfect, I find it really easy to use and very intuitive. The AI function can be improved but as a beta program it works fantastic. The UI is the most important for me, it is unrivalled in my opinion, I was never able to take advantage of note taking sofeware as much as I do with Notion.
What do you dislike about the product?
The AI doesn't read embedded pdf, I imagine that would be one of the ground breaking features if it was available.
The calendar can also be improved. Im big of user interface and I feel like the calendar function could be easier to add events/task. I don't know specifically what can be done, I just think it would be great if the calendar was easier to use.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion, more specifically the AI function can really handle the grunt work of processing data into information, it takes the workload of analysing texts so I can focus on more important things such as writing papers.
Notion AI is a break through for my job
What do you like best about the product?
I use notion AI to improve my writing. I don't need the grammar checking Apps anymore
What do you dislike about the product?
The learning curve. I tried Notion before but found that I need some time to learn it before I can use it effectively
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
AI really brings my writing to the next level. It feels amazing to write email and proposal like English is my first language with the help of AI
Notion - The best note taking app
What do you like best about the product?
It is very user-friendly and has a fantastic UI, making note-taking fun and easy to organize. The thing that puts Notion above the competitor's apps is Notion AI.
What do you dislike about the product?
I absolutely love everything about notion and notion ai is my favorite aspect. The only thing I could come up with is that I want Notion AI to stay up to date with the new GPT releases by OpenAI. This means I would like for Notion AI to switch to use the new GPT-4.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As I am studying for interviews, I need a note-taking app to help me organize tips, tricks and algorithms. Notion AI helps me caption algorithms as well as generate question prompts and examples that help me with the study process.
