Transformative Workspace Solution, But Needs Better Automation

  • April 29, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like Notion's ability to evolve from a simple documentation tool into a structured system builder. It's great as a centralized workspace for managing SOPs, knowledge bases, and operational workflows. I appreciate that Notion acts as a single source of truth, powering our internal AI systems across teams. Its interconnectivity and unified platform drive our shift to a more structured and scalable system. I find the initial setup easy and straightforward, which was a bonus since it allowed us to get started quickly due to Notion's intuitive interface. Notion is a foundational knowledge layer, ensuring consistency in how our AI engines interpret and execute processes and enabling us to move toward system-driven operations. We can design and refine workflows within Notion, making the transition from concept to execution much more efficient.
What do you dislike about the product?
While it's highly flexible, it starts to show limitations as you move from documentation into execution-heavy cases. Performance can become a concern with large, complex databases and interconnected workflows. Additionally, the lack of strong native automation and real-time integrations makes it harder to use as a fully operational system without relying on external tools.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion centralizes our SOPs, workflows, and project information, improving visibility and eliminating fragmented tools. It creates a structured system and foundational knowledge base for AI, enhancing consistency and reducing ambiguity. We can quickly design, refine, and execute workflows, which boosts efficiency.

All-in-One Workspace with Powerful Database Views

  • April 29, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The flexibility is what stands out most — Notion lets you build your workspace exactly the way you think. Whether it's managing projects, keeping notes, or building a team wiki, everything lives in one place. The database views are especially useful for switching between a board, calendar, or table depending on what I need at the moment.
What do you dislike about the product?
The learning curve can be steep at first — it takes some time to figure out the best way to structure everything. Performance can also feel sluggish on larger databases or complex pages, and the mobile app isn't quite as smooth as the desktop experience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before Notion, I was juggling multiple tools for notes, tasks, and documentation. Notion consolidates everything into one workspace, which saves time and reduces the mental overhead of switching between apps. It's made collaboration with my team much smoother and keeps everyone aligned on projects.

What do you like best about the product?
I use Notion for scheduling tasks, keeping track of resources, and managing my calendar. It's like a second brain for me, providing clarity in my days so I can efficiently move from one task to the next. I really appreciate the customization options in Notion that let me tailor it to my needs and connect with external sources. This feature is great for integrating it into our system, making my workflow time-efficient and saving me the hassle of visiting multiple sites. Additionally, setting up Notion was smooth with the help of AI, which made it a lot easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
On the phone app, compared to my computer, the display can show too many things. It's not very transferable for me. If there was direction or a template that actually helps set up the phone, that would help a lot.

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love how Notion can be extremely simple and visually appealing yet also super complex. It's amazing that you can just create a page that holds all kinds of content or have a simple page for notes. Switching from Google Docs to Notion was super amazing because it's like an all-in-one platform. Everything's in one spot but separate enough that it doesn't get confusing. The free tier of the pricing plan is amazing, offering so many different types of features, and the paid plan gets even more amazing. The initial setup of Notion was extremely simple for us; it was super easy to get started.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that the AI features were a little bit more integrated into the work, and I guess you were made more aware of what AI can do.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to track habits, tasks, and projects, enabling us to comment and collaborate on work. Switching from Google Suite made everything centralized and less confusing.
