My New Hub For Work
What do you like best about the product?
I am using it for both my personal and work organization. Instead of having a dozen or more tabs open on my PC , I use notion as my hub for easy access to everything I need to do my job. I work in academic administration and like that I can see everything in one place (student info, programs of study, linked calendars of events and tasks, etc.)
What do you dislike about the product?
I am not crazy about the aesthetics of my dashboard as I am limited to where I can move items to. Also not excited about the exporting functioning. It does not export into what I have set out on my screen. I think it would be a bit of a learning curve for those not comfortable with tech, so not really a beginner's option.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have been using Microsoft Access for my student databases, but found this much more user friendly aside from the exporting functionality.
Notion made me a better team leader
What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy it is to share pages with people. I also love how you can put something on the page as a reference, and if the person doesn't have access, they won't even know it's there.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside of Notion is you have to have an internet connection in order for it to work
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's helping me improve my own note taking, self thoughts, projects and managing people. It's helping my team build a better communication of our projects and clients. It makes working together as a team a little easier.
Perfect Project Management Tool for All Your Needs!
What do you like best about the product?
Whether you're a solopreneur or need to collaborate on a number of projects with a small team, Notion is all you need. Notion is more than just a note-taking app. Apart from its powerful features and beautifully designed UI, Notion has a wide range of templates, and everything on its pages can be customized. In addition, the free plan is more than enough for most people.
What do you dislike about the product?
Even though Notion is an extremely useful tool for creating and organizing documents and projects, it can be challenging at first to learn how to use it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For project management, I wanted a free app that allows me to design blank pages in the same way as a new blank word processor document.
I use Notion for productivity journaling
What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can put a to-do list - or any list - anywhere in my journal, then reference it elsewhere. That way, I don't have to search back through my journal or have a special place for the list.
What do you dislike about the product?
The dates and times I embed in my journal entry (with /date) always default to a 12-hour format, and I like them in a 24-hour format. I would like to see Notion remember my setting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a full-stack developer working on a large project, Notion helps me focus on one thing at a time until it's done to specifications - or just the way I like it.
I love Notion for how it helps me organize my life
What do you like best about the product?
Several things make Notion stand out for me. It has a lot of features, a stylish yet minimalistic design, is optimized, and it has good technical support. I can say that Notion is among the tools that help me organize my life the most. The recent Beta Notion AI also helped me improve university assignments and some emails. I have been using Notion for about three years now, and I love it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Paid Notion plans are quite expensive for people from countries less wealthy than the US.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
- Tracking and managing personal projects
- Saving personal notes
- Organizing notes
It helps me be significantly more organized and productive.

It's great, but it's not a game changer for me.
What do you like best about the product?
It's a simple note taking system with a lot of flexibility. I'm not a Notion power user by any means, but it does what I need it to do easily with the ability to do more complex things when I need it.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Mac app is clunky. I have a huge list of notes and often the filtering/search doesn't work or it's slow to load. I have to restart it from time to time to get things to work properly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion for taking notes during meetings throughout the day and referencing them. For that it's great. While I rarely use more advanced features like their database type features, they are there, and have come in handy sometimes.
Near perfect note taking app
What do you like best about the product?
Notion lets you customize how you use it
You can have page with checklists, toggle list (expand/collapse), clean interface on desktop version, tables, filters. It does basically ecerything. And it syncs across your devices.

What do you dislike about the product?
- Document opening times are slow, like there's a 1-2 second wait time.
- afrer recent update, the android version got a faceliht that includes a recent items carousel which i don't care for at all.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Clearing mental clutter, organizing ideas and tasks
The complete and flexible management tool
What do you like best about the product?
I have used Jira, Basecamp, Trello, Asana, Teams, Evernote, and countless other tools to manage and collaborate on client projects, Notion would appear to be the perfect software for me.
It's customisable, and can help you organise home life.

What do you dislike about the product?
It has a learning curve, but the video tutorials you offer are good. Some examples of how you could use it to generate data on productivity and task progress would be a bonus.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has replaced a multitude of other tools, making it my defacto app for management.
Nothing short of a breakthrough in data organisation
What do you like best about the product?
The rich list of visual editing options and markdown for better readability. How text looks is the basis of any collaboration project or even plain idea storage.
Potent database engine for storing various types of data and representing different scopes.
A magnificent way of showing other people's edits for the page.

What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to have more options for the default look and behavior of pages, such as: pages in full width (togglable, but default us off), wrapping multiline content of a database cell in table view (on by default), but most of all, the Date fields are missing option to be filled relative to the date of page creation, when using Templates automation to create pages on schedule.
Oh, and I almost forgot... I have to admit that the learning curve for using advanced features is pretty steep. It was easy for me because of my significant experience with data processing and different sorts of software.
Not adding Russian, Ukranian and other languages. It's strange because Notion does not have many keywords to translate. You could first let people use the primary interface in their language and LATER add Help pages translated because help pages are not as essential as being able to use the interface in the language your friends and colleagues speak.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The Notion helped me to organize my information. I know that the Wiki format (hierarchy of pages) has existed for a long time, but Notion made text editing and document creation very intuitive. It was effortless to start, and once you began to - it became even much easier to continue adding and adding more to your Notion.
The Notion does an excellent job for collaboration. The tool for sharing specific pages or "categories" is lightning fast, which always helps when you create new blocks of information that should be split by level of access. Comments are another great way, of course, but what makes Notion stand out is that the comment section is always on the TOP of the page, not on the bottom, which is how it often happens. If that's not enough, inline comments are to help.
Notification system, toggling subscription on/off for pages, custom templates, markdown and layout of text, handful of smart fields in database - the list of useful features is long.
