Completely Customizable but comes with with a Learning Curve
What do you like best about the product?
I love Notion for its flexibility; it allows me to customize and create databases exactly the way I need, catering to all my projects with unique requirements. This bespoke capability is crucial to me, given my creative projects often evolve into actionable tasks. I find the initial setup of Notion particularly user-friendly, as it helps in getting started smoothly with its intuitive structure suggestions, setting me up on the right path. Additionally, the extensive availability of information and resources for learning how to use Notion effectively supports my experience, despite the initial learning curve. Moreover, I appreciate the ability to have control over my organization and project management processes without having to conform to imposed structures, unlike other tools I've used, giving me more creative freedom. The integration capabilities, such as with Gmail, are valuable, and although I am considering further integrations, I am pleased with how well Notion helps me in my tasks. Finally, my positive experiences have already led me to recommend Notion to others.
What do you dislike about the product?
I found the learning curve with Notion to be quite steep, which took me a couple of weeks to get into and understand. While there is a lot of information available, it requires knowing what questions to ask to get the right answers, which made it difficult for me to fully grasp initially. I think having more elaborate, specific guidance on structuring things based on individual needs would be beneficial. This would help users like me who prefer learning by breaking things apart and putting them back together to utilize Notion more effectively for creative projects.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion for project management, allowing me to create bespoke databases for each project, giving me more control over my creative projects compared to other tools.
All-in-One Workspace with Unmatched Flexibility and Customization
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Notion brings everything into one workspace. It’s flexible, easy to organize, and lets me manage tasks, documents, and workflows without switching tools. The customization options make it simple to build pages that fit exactly what I need.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that Notion saves pages automatically, even when I’m not ready to keep them, though I’ve found a few workarounds. I also wish the page icons were more consistent—when I don’t use an emoji, it defaults to a generic page icon that makes my workspace less clean
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion helps me stay aligned with my executive by keeping all tasks, notes, and delegated work in one organized space. As an EA, it’s been useful for maintaining a shared source of truth, making sure we’re calibrated on priorities, and streamlining how we track and manage our workflows.

I love Notion as a note-taking tool for my personal matters; it allows organizing, creating documents, and keeping them in one place, which facilitates management and quick reference. It features a beautiful, interesting, and easy-to-use interface, making daily use a pleasure. The tools available in Notion are well-integrated and intuitive, enabling efficient use and distinguishing it as a unique software among others. The ease of setup is a strong point, as everything practically comes ready to use, without the need for complex adjustments. These positive characteristics add value to my daily life, making my tasks simpler and more manageable.

What do you like best about the product?
I use it every day and love the ease of use and AI feature. It has everything my company posts & I love the AI Writing assistant as well!

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I hate reading through company policies and manuals and competitor info that gets lost but it's easy to find. Also instead of reading through, the AI feature always captures great summaries and saves a ton of time
Customizable, Powerful, Yet Challenging Setup
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate that Notion is extremely customizable, allowing me to create a personalized dashboard using the AI chatbot, which can pull information from various databases even if I don't own them. This feature is particularly beneficial for someone like me who has ADHD, as it helps me keep necessary tasks visually in front of me, thereby preventing overwhelm and enabling better task execution. The degree of customization that Notion offers is truly valuable and fits well with my needs, making it a crucial tool for managing my tasks and facilitating collaboration across different projects and disciplines.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the initial learning curve of Notion challenging. When I first started using it, it took me a while to figure out all its capabilities. I had to rely on colleagues who had prior experience with Notion to help me understand its functionality, which was time-consuming. It would be beneficial if Notion provided mandatory onboarding videos that demonstrate its features to new users, as this would make the initial setup process much easier and help avoid the feeling of being overwhelmed by its complexity.

I find Notion solves communication silos and enhances task management across diverse projects, helping our team collaborate effectively.
AI Assistant Chatbot Makes Work Effortless
What do you like best about the product?
My favorite feature by far is the little AI assistant chat bot. It makes the whole process easy to use and makes me want to use it more.
What do you dislike about the product?
Our instance can be a bit convoluted, It is what you make of it but I do wish there was a bit more pre-build structure that applied to our org.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed a centralized location to house documents such as instructions, manuals, glossaries, as well as past presentations, business proposals. This was to improve everything being in the google drive strewn about everywhere in no order.
Outstanding Knowledge Base and AI Assistant Elevate Productivity
What do you like best about the product?
The knowledge base is outstanding, provided you have enough people who are willing to take on the upkeep. The note taking for meetings outshines tools I have used that are solely for that purpose and it's getting more and more use throughout our organisation. The AI writing assistant is outstanding, particularly for sharpening and refining text to make it clearer as we can be writing about tricky subjects sometimes.
What do you dislike about the product?
Without people monitoring articles they can become out of date so think carefully about who will take ownership of that before purchasing. Search isn't quite as good as it could be and throws up a lot of unnecessary results (AI does mitigate this considerably though).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With an ever increasing suite of products and processes it can be difficult to keep on top of everything - Notion's AI assistant is helping our teams get to the knowledge they need and fast.
Customizable, Beautiful, and Smarter Than Ever
What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy the customization of it, while still being aesthetically pleasing. Being able to build different forms, databases and tie it all together in one took me a bit to understand, but once the baseline knowledge was learned it got much easier. I also like the AI features that you have developed, they have improved by leaps and bounds as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have zero complaints on Notion to be honest. I try to convert everyone to Notion. Well I should say sometimes rolling up info still gives me a little trouble, but that's probably a me thing not a notion thing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I really have enjoyed the new Notion AI that's been developed. It can create quite a few different databases for me, very quickly. It also is more thorough than any other AI tool I've used.

I love using Notion for organizing both my work and personal life. It effectively helps me keep track of actions and to-do lists, ensuring I remember important tasks across various areas. Notion's ease of use is a standout feature for me, as it allows me to easily find information or adjust views quickly, which is incredibly convenient. I am particularly impressed by the new AI tool, which enhances my efficiency by making it quick to locate items and build new forms. The meeting recording feature is another aspect I appreciate deeply, as it helps me track action items so I don’t forget them, thereby improving my productivity. Even though I have not yet integrated Notion with other tools, I see great potential in integrating it with my ChatGPT Pro account. The transition to using Notion was seamless as I have been utilizing a personal account for many years, making setup very easy. I'm highly likely to recommend Notion to others, with a likelihood rating of 9 out of 10, primarily because of its innovative AI tools and overall user-friendly experience.

I feel that I might not be utilizing Notion to its fullest potential due to the abundance of features available. Furthermore, the integration with other tools, particularly my ChatGPT Pro account, seems lacking, which is important for my workflow.

I love how versatile Notion is in its formatting capabilities. The ability to use tables, databases, pages, templates, and tracking features is incredibly seamless, making it easy to integrate these elements within just two clicks. The feature that allows tagging others enhances team collaboration and organization. Moreover, I absolutely love the integration with Notion AI, which further enhances the platform's utility by offering intelligent suggestions and automation that streamline our processes.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like templates in Notion to be more accessible and proactively offered. It would be helpful if Notion could recognize when I'm creating something like a table to track experiments and then suggest a suitable template that is well-regarded for that specific purpose, eliminating the need for me to search for it. Additionally, although the initial setup was very easy, I think there could be minor suggestions from Notion AI for even more seamless integration or better team optimization, such as ideas for page consolidation.

I use Notion to organize strategy, track team milestones and progress, solve internal clarity issues, and engage with customers. It clarifies priorities and projects, making team collaboration and idea mapping seamless.
