If I build a system, it would look like this.
What do you like best about the product?
It's simple. You have one type of page that you can use in different styles and databases, connect it with other pages, and you can make it look, feel and work exactly how you want it to be. You can add or remove any piece of that page you want and lock it to make it work really well with a team.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think that is true for most CRMs or ERPs: The beginning can be challenging. I had to navigate through the app until I could make it work for my team and me. Also, the Notion templates library is basic, and the system can do more than this. I would recommend updating the free template library with more advanced pages.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion for my personal life and my business. Notion helps me stay updated on my tasks, projects and areas of life and business. I can keep up with my project, and find things quickly all across the system.
An overall well-rounded product that, however, sometimes lacks over traditional and simple products.
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to organise notes in a structured and complex way. Notion also provides quite a big chunk of customazibility, with embedding HTML, etc. It also allows for an ideal collaboration space when one needs to do a project and as it is run in JavaScript, it can be simply used in the browser.
What do you dislike about the product?
The mobile app is a bit slow and inconvenient to use. As Notion is built in JavaScript, it feels like it's a bit unresponsive often times and requires unreasonably high loading times for pages, etc.
Moreover, as it a fairly complex tool, it's a question whether it might not be better to just use something else for specific tasks. For instance, keeping track of habits, or budgeting myself might be done in Notion; but it will probably be much easier and convenient in Excel.

Keeping track of scientific literature and scientific experiments.
Also, keeping track of different lectures and blogs I find online and want to use later on. Notion thus acts as a second brain for me.

I love Notion. I recommend it to everyone!
What do you like best about the product?
I love the way you can connect you pages with each other. Love the tables and how you can put content into something like excel but with content in it.
I use it to my personal life and to all my studies - I'm a doctor so I use it to put everythin I learn and use it as consulting platform.
The best thing is I can use it anywhere!
I love the Notion team, I´ve contacted them sometimes now and the service is excellent.
I think I couldn't imagine my life without it now.

What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing they could do better for now is to adapt the new tables feature and allow to join cells (like one can do with tables on Microsoft tools).
The function "search" could also work for the documents that you put upload. That would make it perfect.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have all the medical knowledge in one place. And I don't have to search for the ppt in an external drive or anything. I have all about one disease in one single page and if I need to correlate it, I can put a direct link for the other stuff I want to know about.
Perfect All-in-One Tool
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about Notion is it's customizability and, therefore, the flexibility to organize your items the way you want.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the Mac desktop app is a bit slow and there are some lags. An other thing I don't like that much about Notion is the Page sharing menu.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It provides me with a central place for all of my data. Before I found Notion, my notes were scattered around my devices. Now I organize them in my databases and can easily search for them.
Incredibly adaptable to any business or team
What do you like best about the product?
The possibility of building your own tools as your team and needs evolve. It is great for all needs, from simple note taking to complex project management and KPI monitoring.
All our teams use Notion on a daily basis; it has become our own little ERP !

What do you dislike about the product?
Table are sometimes slighlty frustrating to calculate totals, percentages, ratios, etc. and require some workarounds using relations and rollups. Yet, we've found that the integrations (like Grid) can do the job great !

We used to use Google docs + a project management tool (Clickup) and have moved everything to Notion. It replaces both marvellously and enables all teams to centralize info at all times.
We run our whole business on Notion except for our accounts and invoicing.
What do you like best about the product?
Notion is very easy to learn and highly configurable we run our whole business, including customer contact information, supplier contact information, jobs in, jobs through processing and jobs out and collected in the notion. It is the brain for our business.
What do you dislike about the product?
Printing from notion is a problem at the moment, and I'm sure they will fix this in time we would love to be able to print brother labels from notion but cannot find a way to do this at the moment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main use we put Notion to is tracking jobs in, then following them through processing and tracking them out to the customer, but Notion does so much more. We no use it for document management, parts inventory, CRM and more.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make good use of the ability to have email and phone numbers in Notion that enable fast communication with customers.
Great project management tool but challenging at first
What do you like best about the product?
Everything is in one place, easy to collaborate using comments etc. Love being able to create tables and then organise them in different views that are all linked. So when you change something in one view, it updates other views.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be challenging to use at first, and collaborators are sometimes unable to use the platform efficiently. The setup of various databases is a little tedious and requires a lot of learning and watching videos. It would be nice to connect to Canva and other creative software (maybe it's possible and I'm just not aware) so that designs can be viewed in Notion without needing to upload them, which creates an extra time-consuming step.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Content management for an e-commerce business. Create a high-level view of all published and planned content + ideas, plus find all the details on each page. Being able to drag things around the calendar and easily make changes is incredibly useful. Also provides a place to house all the business info, which can be shared with new staff and partners, making onboarding and sharing resources much more effortless.
Great tool for centralising notes for a business.
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to easily share notes with colleagues and also the ease of keeping notes for yourself.
It also has useful shortcuts and the ability to link other pages in your notes.
It also has useful shortcuts and the ability to link other pages in your notes.
What do you dislike about the product?
If you don't make sure to set up a structure in your notes it can get quite messy. For the rest, it's an awesome tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's helping to easily find topics and articles from other departments.
The face of remote onboarding
What do you like best about the product?
As a remote company, with employees spread across the globe, Notion allows us to create a tailored onboarding program for new team members using templates and linking to all the relevant links/pages/documents that are going to set that newbie up for success.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is not optimized for interactive, live team documents. Google Docs is still the preferred tool for living docs. It also would be rgeat to see free forming tools introduced, like Miro, so that you could collaborate with teams all in one space.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It acts as our companies wiki. It stores all of our roadmaps, goals, and processes. Personally, I use Notion for my to-do's and for building up onboarding programs for new hires.
Simply the all in one best app
What do you like best about the product?
You can arrange any sentences, to-do, projects, ideas, and so on...as you prefer, freely. Clear interface and easy to understand and start.
What do you dislike about the product?
Formulas are not very handy and tricky to use; there are more straightforward solutions. Adding colors and formatting options in tables could be attractive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can have all my work and personal wiki in just one app. My daily logs, activities, to-do list, planning and routines, bookmarks and notes during a meeting, all that well organized in Notion and always available on all my devices. I don't need any other app to manage different works.
