Easy to use, plenty of options
What do you like best about the product?
I love the use of the product as well as the available options and templates right out of the box.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can a little overwhelming at first if you're not familiar with it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping notes, write technical documents and managing sales processes
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Look through the documentation before diving right into it.
A way to organize my tasks, notes, projects, thoughts, etc that has become a hobby.
What do you like best about the product?
The database capability/feature is incredibly powerful. It's as simple as maintaining a spreadsheet but much more graphic and then to be able to link to it from other pages and quickly change it's appearance based on where it's located in the workspace is amazing. I've got one for projects, one for meeting/phone notes and one for tasks. Those three reference each other and in turn are referenced on other pages.
What do you dislike about the product?
The limited formatting options are good on one level because they remove choice/options and keep the workflow streamlined. On the other hand if I had a few more options in some areas the tool would be more powerful. In example when I need to issue formal meeting minutes I still need to copy/paste onto company letterhead in MS Word.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A quick but robust tool to track tasks, write notes, track projects and organize thoughts all in one location and have data point back and forth to itself in a way that mirrors real world workflows and relationships. This is the first platform I've found that can do that AND do it in a very graphic way. I'm an Architect and want the organization in a graphically satisfying way vs feeling like I'm an accountant.
Great tool for managing personal projects
What do you like best about the product?
Very customizable and easy to use. Allows you to keep everything in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven’t really found any drawbacks, but perhaps collaboration is a little tricky.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using it as a personal tool for managing work related projects. It’s great for keeping me up to date on my tasks and store everything in one place.
Great tool that increased my own productivity significantly
What do you like best about the product?
Notion is extremely versatile and allows the user to manage almost everything, from to-do lists to literature research, to recepies and much more. This means you basically need only one tool to track all productivity-related things in your life. Setting up the structure with individual pages and subpages means that you can easily add links and establish a wiki-like structure.
Also, Notion looks super beautiful and this enhances the user experience significantly.

What do you dislike about the product?
If you want to insert files all of them need to be uploaded to the cloud. This is good, because it means that everything is available on all your devices but it sometimes makes the app slow and means you cannot just upload huge amounts of data.
On mobile devices the complexity can get a little bit overwhelming and it is quite difficult to use. This, however, is not a problem when using notion on a notebook or desktop.
This complexity also means notion is quite difficult to use in the beginning.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Project tracking, literature research and private finances. It is just an awesome to use one tool for everything. The main benefit is clearly its versatility. Compared to other tools like OneNote you never end up with something you cannot sort properly in Notion. Whatever is on your mind can be on Notion.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
- Start simple and try to understand how to structure things such that you can get the most out of Notion. Don't use it if you don't like spending your time with making things look pretty.
A great deal more than just a good notion
What do you like best about the product?
Notion's flexibility is what attracted me the most. I was only halfway through an annual subscription to Evernote when I switched, it's that good.
It may not have some of the facier features of Evernote, such as picture-text capture, but I'm sure it won't be long until they do.
The flexibility of this software makes it ideal for so many levels of creative & daily life management.

What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it integrated with Grammarly.
Exporting text into other text editors like Word of Gdocs sometimes has issues with markup.
I don't like that you have to pay via a workspace. I would like a private personal account with a shared workspace option, for things with my partner. As it is, we have to share the workspace, which can get messy for everything including payment & break-ups.

Notion has become my life repository and also where I create all my content drafts, ideas, lists etc.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Notion is great for everyone from beginner note-taking to advanced database management.
After the free trial I switched from Evernote Premium almost immediately and ate the overlap cost. It's simple and smart, with a great many uses, making it the ideal place for me to plan and create projects for work and at home.
The team behind it seem to have a great plan and it's got a great library of templates and suggestions -- including those from other users - to inspire you to organize and create better!

A great tool for collaborative working
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to access and create pages / documents etc., easily, as well as being able to access pretty much anywhere with an internet connection.
What do you dislike about the product?
Trying to open some pages can be a pain as it tends to open my browser - I had to resort to using a Chrome Extension to get this to open in Notion. The editor can also take some getting used to, and throws a bit of a fit if you try and edit something you've already done.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're a remote company with staff in different parts of the country, so being able to have a centralised point for all company data is vital to us.
A do it all Wiki that is really easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
I like that you can immediately create pages and categories to start documenting your projects.
Also, the "advanced" tables with board views are a solid alternative to other project management tools

What do you dislike about the product?
The sharing feature could benefit from a redesign ut works well already.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
All project documentation and Todo lists and cards for the team.
Having everything In the same place is great. For our needs, Notion has replaced several different tools.

Notion opens a whole new world of possibility!
What do you like best about the product?
Notion can be made into whatever you want it to be. I use it as a project management tool, a database, a note-taking app, a website for running a university department, a collaboration tool with other faculty members, etc.
The flexibility and sheer power of the platform make it possible to build simple and complex solutions for a wide range of personal and work challenges.
Notion also has an intuitive interface making it easy to get started with the tool. When you get stuck (because you've run out of ideas) there's an enthusiastic community behind the product to back you up.
The fact that you also get most of this goodness for free is the icing on the cake. I'm sure you can tell that I love the platform.

What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, there isn't much to dislike. I would mention though that it may appear to have a steep learning curve at first, simply because it is like staring at a blank canvas. However, the beauty is that once you start tinkering, it gets exciting and borderline addictive as you build software solutions that work for you. And all of this without needing to learn how to code~
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion at my full-time job to manage an academic department. Some specific usage scenarios include student advising, timetabling courses, preparing courses, making info websites etc. Notion has proved easy to use and very flexible for us to tailor to meet the needs of our department.
I also use it to manage projects that I work on with my clients and it makes it easy to have documentation in one place where it is easy to track all the information that I need for my client work.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Check out the many YouTube channels that provide Notion tips and tricks, they'll get you up to speed much faster than trying to do everything on your own. People such as August Bradley, Marie Poulin, William Nutt and many others produce lots of superb content on the many things that are possible with Notion. I mustn't leave out the Notion official YouTube channel (it's excellent).
If you prefer text-based tutorials then you can look up William Nutt's notion.vip site that has a ton of excellent tutorials.

Delightful alternative to excessive google docs
What do you like best about the product?
Notion has a plethora of features and customization options while remaining simplistic and easy to learn.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have had trouble in the past with accessing notion on mobile and sometimes pages have long load times if they are complex.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Team collaboration is easier within notion. Google docs are great for drafting marketing content or articles but notion offers a robust set of options. Things such as multiple view pages - where you can see a calendar view, table view, etc are especially useful when working in teams. I use notion both personally and with my business team.
Functional tool for Cloud document storage
What do you like best about the product?
I like using the software because it is easy to use due to the UI/UX being well developed.
What do you dislike about the product?
Collum visibility was a little confusing at first, however after using the search feature that was no longer an issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We store all of our company documents on Notion which allows us to work remotely with ease.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would recommend Notion for startups looking to streamline workflow and productivity.
