The Ultimate Digital Notebook Experience
What do you like best about the product?
It is the best way to take notes that feels like using an actual notebook and allows to personalize each experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
For me it took a while to understand all the tools that Notion offers, so it takes some time to take advantage of the product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Needing to take notes on different subjects and being able to find those notes quickly
Exceptional Project Management and User Experience
What do you like best about the product?
Very hard to narrow it down, but I would say The Project Manager. Mine is named Woody, after the most infamous project manager i know. Woody makes EXCELLENT suggestions. I mean so good, that I say, wow, I wish I had thought of that. He really improves the projects I am working on.

What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have a single complaint with Notion. Its ROI has been almost immeasurable for me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My first project with Notion was a giant pain that I did not want to tackle. I have allotted 3 days of work to complete it. I finshed in 4 hours! I only watched the first 3 short videos and jumped in. I was stunned.
My second project was cataloging a bunch of equipement. Serial numbers, brand names, etc. My project manager, Woody, kept offering incredibly helpful suggests. It is the best AI I have worked with as far as grasping and understanding my goals, sometimes my unwritten goals, and truly making the project better and completing it more quickly.
My most consequential project I am working on now is my plans for 2026. I am the most organized I have ever been. I am 59! I wish I had found Notion earlier. I know where my info is all the time. I can brainstorm and sort it out later.

The product offers a range of functionality, along with various integrations and connectors. These features contribute to its overall versatility and usefulness.

There is a learning curve, especially when building more advanced databases or workflows. It takes some upfront time to set things up the right way, but once established, the payoff is worth it. Occasionally, features feel a little overwhelming for new users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion allows me to organize complex information and transform it into practical workflows. Rather than having notes, emails, and documents spread out in different places, everything is stored together and linked within a single platform. This has helped boost my productivity, cut down on repeated work, and made it much easier for me to stay focused and organized each day.

Notion is helping me format my python notes nicely such that i can differentiate between my own notes and comments and the actual code wihtin my notes

My favorite thing about notion is it’s ability to use databases and create linked powerful views and dashboard views of that database.
What do you dislike about the product?
Since Notion can do literally anything, it feels like there’s almost too much it can do and it’s sometimes difficult to figure out what features of notion you want to use versus what you need to do.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion provides focus, it lets me focus on the tasks that need done because of its powerful database view management. There’s always a different view that I can isolate and a database to accentuate the problem that I’m trying to solve. The AI integration is especially helpful in that and that it can fill in all of the properties for items that would take me forever to do by hand AI drastically improve improves my efficiency and productivity in terms of accomplishing these tasks.

What do you like best about the product?
I love using Notion to organize all my thoughts across various aspects of my life, including personal studies, house management, finances, relationships, and even my special interests. Having a shared page with my best friend and a dedicated space for Unicorn quotes exemplifies its versatility. The platform excels at helping me manage significant challenges like time management, financial oversight, and general thought organization. One of Notion's standout features is its customization, allowing me to tailor my setup to avoid overwhelming my AuDHD brain. Additionally, the ChatGPT integration has been incredibly beneficial for creating new pages with seamless formatting, particularly helping me overcome difficulties in designing page layouts that accommodate my Autism and ADHD symptoms. The initial setup of Notion was also a breeze, thanks to its super intuitive interface, and I am confident in recommending it with a perfect score of 10.

I love the customization features and the ability to generate different forms, as well as the extensive range of templates provided through the community, which enhance its utility. As a self-employed individual managing two ventures, I find the various forms for financial modeling, projections, and inventory management seamless with Notion's AI integration. I've transitioned from using just a basic notes app to Notion's free version, which has been a significant improvement for managing my tasks and projects. The process of downloading and getting started with the software was straightforward, highlighting its user-friendliness, even though not being able to directly copy and paste notes from Apple was a minor inconvenience. Overall, I've been so satisfied with Notion's capabilities that I would rate it a 9 out of 10 in terms of recommending it to a friend or colleague.

Sometimes the Notion AI does not directly provide what I need, potentially due to an overload of prompts from my end. Also, integrating Notion with other tools is currently difficult, preventing me from fully utilizing its capabilities with my existing setups. Additionally, I encountered challenges in transferring notes directly from Apple's notes app to Notion, as the lack of a direct copy-paste feature meant I had to manually enter information, which was time-consuming.

Clunky Interface, Effective Transcription
What do you like best about the product?
I downloaded Notion in an effort to stay organized while i started my new businesses. There's only one feature that I like and use: the feature that summarizes and transcribes my meetings or calls is incredibly reliable and valuable, especially since I can't transcribe my own calls while participating in them. This functionality is crucial for me as it ensures I don't forget important details discussed during the calls, and integrates well with my chatbots, enhancing my workflows. The transcription feature stands out as the only aspect of Notion that I like, providing a dependable solution for managing information from meetings.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find Notion to be overly cluttered and not user-friendly, making it difficult to navigate and utilize effectively. Despite sitting through tutorials, setting it up is cumbersome and not intuitive, which leads to regret over purchasing it. Integrating formatting between Notion and other platforms like Microsoft or Apple is problematic, further complicating its use. The templates available are also challenging to use, and the overall experience is lacking in usability. The setup process, although easy to install, is extremely difficult to figure out, detracting from the user experience and making it a source of frustration. Notion isn't helping me stay organized with anything other than my zoom call recordings.

I use Notion for its transcription feature, which helps me transcribe calls reliably. However, I struggle with its user interface, finding it clunky despite my tech-savviness.

I really appreciate the Notion AI feature, which enhances my experience significantly. What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that everything is inside Notion. I wish there was more integration. For example, I want to be able to go on my Google Calendar for each meeting and add a Notion template that sets up the meeting notes for that day and attaches it to the meeting. Just more integration with everything I'm working with would be beneficial.
