Central Hub for Team Alignment and Strategy
What do you like best about the product?
I love using Notion as our single source of truth in the organization because it helps everyone stay aligned and serves as a central place to organize strategy and goals. I particularly appreciate that Notion keeps the focus on content rather than worrying too much about formatting, which means our team spends less time formatting slides and more time thinking about the content they want to display. The database templates are a feature I use often, especially for meeting agendas, as they save time by allowing me to generate new agendas without having to build them from scratch. Additionally, the initial setup of Notion for our team was very easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the search functionality in Notion lacking because it can be difficult to find the right page I'm looking for. This can be frustrating and time-consuming. Additionally, there is a need for a slides feature in Notion that allows for more visual presentations to be created and stored within the platform. This would enhance the versatility of Notion for presentations and more visually-oriented tasks. Lastly, I experienced challenges with the Enterprise AI search feature, as it has taken a significant amount of time to implement successfully, potentially delaying the benefits it offers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to keep the organization aligned as a central hub for strategy and goals, saving time with database templates for meeting agendas, and focusing on content rather than formatting.
AI-Enhanced Productivity Hub
What do you like best about the product?
I love using Notion for its AI capabilities, which give me the sense of having a team working alongside me on various tasks. The AI feature is particularly helpful as it automates the process of pulling data into tables and filling out information, saving me from spending time on repetitive copy-paste tasks. Additionally, when I need specific Q&A chat details, Notion’s AI can efficiently retrieve and create reference pages for me. This functionality significantly streamlines the management of related notes and researching details around projects or events, making my workflow more efficient.
What do you dislike about the product?
I experience occasional glitches with Notion, where the AI sometimes needs to repeat steps or cannot perform tasks it previously completed for me. Though I am confident these can be resolved, they disrupt the workflow. Additionally, the initial setup was not straightforward, involving back-and-forth adjustments, and I'm still learning how to use it effectively.

I use Notion to manage related notes and research details around project tasks, saving time on copy-pasting tasks with its AI feature. It also helps in finding and creating reference pages, streamlining my workflow efficiently.
Flexible Platform with Great Collaboration Tools
What do you like best about the product?
I love how Notion functions as our school's operating system, managing a wide array of tasks such as projects, task tracking, SOPs, collaborative spaces, and even serving as a CRM for students. It's amazing to have everything in one centralized place, and I find it easy to customize the content according to our school's specific needs. The AI tool is particularly impressive, efficiently performing the tasks I set for it. Notion's flexibility stands out, and new teachers find it generally straightforward to learn, which greatly eases the onboarding process. I am also thrilled with the various built-in tools, including automation and the ability to create external-facing forms, making Notion a truly powerful platform. The interface is exceptionally clean, facilitating easy organization and retrieval of information as long as the team maintains good digital hygiene. Additionally, integrating Google Suite and Slack with Notion improves seamless synchronization and information retrieval during collaborations.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am very much looking forward to having limited view permissions. Currently, it's not possible to limit student or parent views on files while sharing real-time updates. Although this feature is reportedly coming soon, I am cautious about deploying it until it's well-tested by users. Additionally, without good digital hygiene from all team members, Notion's databases and libraries can become cluttered, or worse, break functionalities. If the user permissions could be adjusted to mitigate this issue, it would be beneficial. Lastly, while I rate Notion highly, to fully utilize its capabilities in our context, having an on-team expert or a consultant is almost necessary.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion as a comprehensive tool for managing school functions like projects, tasks, and CRM. It centralizes everything, is customizable, and its AI works as expected. The platform's flexibility and integration with Google Suite and Slack streamline collaboration.

All-in-One Workspace That Transforms Organization and Productivity
What do you like best about the product?
Notion is the single most powerful personal workspace I’ve used as a Product Manager. It acts as my thinking canvas—whether I’m brainstorming product ideas, structuring solutions, writing PRDs, or capturing design/code/infrastructure references. The flexibility of databases, inline AI, and page linking lets me build a system that mirrors how my mind works. I especially love how the new AI features help with writing, summarizing, and improving communication clarity. It feels like a personal productivity engine that adapts to me, not the other way around.
What do you dislike about the product?
Notion can feel slow when working with heavy databases or switching between pages quickly. Offline support still isn’t fully reliable, which affects usage during travel or spotty network situations. The mobile app can be clunky for editing large pages, and while AI is helpful, it still lacks deep automation capabilities unless paired with external tools. These aren’t deal-breakers, but they interrupt flow occasionally.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a Product Manager, Notion has become my personal operating system. It helps me organize ideas, product concepts, and solution frameworks across design, code, and infrastructure layers. I also use it to track my personal finances, goal progress, and daily routines. The AI-assisted writing and process trackers significantly improved the clarity of my communication.
The biggest value is the interview recorder + transcript feature—it gives me deep insights into my own speaking patterns, gaps, and improvement areas, and has genuinely helped me grow as a better communicator and emerging leader. Notion centralizes all of this into one place, enabling continuous learning and structured personal development.

Versatile Hub for Projects and Personal Management
What do you like best about the product?
I love how Notion allows me to manage my notes, daily tasks, projects, and personal documentation all in one place. It serves as my hub for planning, writing, storing resources, and collaborating on short-term projects, making it an indispensable knowledge base. The high level of customization available for pages and database views, coupled with a clean, distraction-free interface, enhances my experience significantly. The use of templates is a huge time saver, especially for managing projects, planning content, and tracking habits. Linking pages and databases is intuitive and ensures information is easily accessible. Notion’s ability to replace multiple apps like documents, spreadsheets, task managers, and note-taking applications into a single workspace helps me stay organized and reduces the clutter, allowing me to maintain everything cohesively without the hassle of switching between different apps.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find Notion can be overwhelming at first due to its many features. The application can become slow, especially when handling heavy pages on large databases. I also see room for improvement in the offline mode as not everything syncs properly, which affects usability. Formatting on the mobile version is more challenging compared to the desktop version, and the reminders and basic functionality feel quite limited compared to dedicated tools for those tasks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to consolidate multiple apps like docs and spreadsheets into a single workspace, which keeps me organized and reduces clutter. It allows me to manage tasks, projects, and personal documentation efficiently, all in one place, enhancing collaboration and ease of use.
Holistic Team Coordination with Notion's AI Integration
What do you like best about the product?
I am highly impressed with Notion’s AI integration, which allows for the generation of tables using simple commands, such as utilizing the slash table feature. This functionality streamlines the process of organizing data, enabling me to specify and customize columns according to my needs and add multiple filters for better data visualization. The AI component helps in creating an efficient workspace that offers a holistic view of various activities across the company. I particularly appreciate the ability to easily integrate different tables, providing a unified perspective on our operations, whether related to my team in growth or to coordinate with the customer success team. This feature is invaluable as it facilitates cross-team communication and coordination while also enabling us to leave comments directly within Notion, enhancing collaborative workflows significantly. Furthermore, I enjoy the simplification of our traditional spreadsheets as Notion consolidates all our data management into a single platform, effectively removing the dependency on multiple spreadsheets. This not only aids in comprehensive information tracking on a single page but also provides beneficial summarization features, making it indispensable for our daily operations and planning activities.
