Absolutely essential for any business
What do you like best about the product?
It's the single most important tool for any startup or business. You don't realise how much information there is flowing through a business until you see it all laid out in a wiki like Notion. It's a super flexible system and everybody we got on it loves using it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes might be a little too complex for new people to get their heads round to how it works.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Storing and organising company knowledge and projects.
Beyond note taking, possibilities are many!
What do you like best about the product?
I switched from evernote and Notion was a refreshing, the layout, nesting notes and the elements within the notes. I've moved all my documentation and meeting notes here from paid Evernote. Now sharing notes with clients and my team is a breeze. I especially like the elements such as headers and intuitive tables that have things easy. I'm presently trying the wiki function.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's taking time to learn all the features, on-boarding could be better (even for clients as well)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Documentation and note taking for my organizations and sharing notes to clients and team as well (meetings notes, plans etc)

What do you like best about the product?
Being able to hand craft everything I'm needing at this current time, live in a document, with just my keyboard is a phenomenal experience. Being able to create a new dataset in a table, visualize it as a calendar, drill down by custom properties, and link that same database inside another document? Life changing features.
What do you dislike about the product?
While I'd say my number one benefit of Notion is keyboard controls, it struggles to provide the same comfort to regular users. People who aren't as keyboard savvy are often asking how to do things, and I show them via keyboard shortcut. It's not truly accessible to everyone in its current state.

We're now using Notion for our entire project, aside from real time conversations in slack. We organize all our documentation, calendars, and project planning inside of Notion.
We have a kanban style board with all our work, drilled down into several custom views for ease of use. Being able to browse projects by bugs, tasks, epics, assignee is awesome. Each user can also make a private page, and embed custom tables for themselves. They're now able to create personalized trello boards and micromanage their tasks in their own way.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Use color/icons a lot in notion. It will make you feel excited both to create a document, but also to own it. You really appreciate the things you create in Notion.
Best collaboration software!
What do you like best about the product?
Very helpful to keep everything you need in one place. You can keep track of all your work in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
The load time of Notion is quite slow both in mobile and desktop application. It will almost take 30 seconds for the mobile app to load which is very frustrating. Faster app load time would make the user experience very smooth.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing of day to day activities is very helpful using Notion features.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Notion is the best application for managing, organising, planning all your activities. Don't think twice. Give it a try.
University student using notion for studying
What do you like best about the product?
The interface is user friendly and there is a clean and attractive design. I really enjoy the ease of adding pages and the intuitiveness of the program.
What do you dislike about the product?
No option for me to sort pages in notebooks, the grouping system can be advanced upon.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using notion to organize different aspects of my life into one main hub, instead of having several notes on different activities scattered in different apps. I also use notion to study for exams through active recall.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Keep it organized and avoid cluttering your dashboard
Notion is the best tool for me to organize all internal team assets, notes, and project management!
What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy it is for me to start a new document and use all of their available templates for me to go off of.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like how there isn't a better guide for using their "shortcuts" for using templates and things like that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The benefits seem to be endless. I'm able to keep my notes neatly organized as well as complete projects on time with the help of Notion.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure to really explore all of the available features and use Dark Mode!
Great if you use it properly!
What do you like best about the product?
With Notion’s minimalist approach, Notion takes home the win. In Notion, you can change your database to view the gallery, list, table and board view, even calendar view! They're all easy to read and fully customizable. Notion can fill in tons of gaps in your team’s organization. Where other platforms fall short, Notion has come up with a solution.
When it comes to collecting documents on Notion for further use, you have almost no limitations as to what type of document you can use. For notes and docs, you can upload documents from your Evernote, Word, Google Docs or Dropbox Paper, which means that you no longer will have to worry about scouring these programs individually to find a certain piece of information.
It doesn’t stop there though—you can embed tons of information from a wide rather of apps and programs, like Google Maps, Twitter, Typeform and Codepen, right into your Notion docs. Your team revolves around tasks and projects, so Notion has a great solution for integrating your other project management programs to help keep everything in one place.
For example, you can import your Trello boards or Asana’s team management tools into Notion to organize and manage all from one spot.
By integrating other powerful tools, you can fully harness Notion to manage, monitor and communicate with your team.
However, if you’re not already using a workflow or project management tool, Notion has its own unique system of creating and managing workflows. It can become the project management tool you always knew you needed.

What do you dislike about the product?
I’d recommend people do their research into what features are the most suitable and whether Notion meets those needs. Whilst Notion can be used as a Trello, Todoist and Evernote replacement, it isn’t going to fulfill all the needs you and with these applications.
From my own opinions, it replaces Trello - due to the board nature and databases - but not fully Evernote and Todoist right now. To fully replace Evernote it does need a little more focus on note-taking, and with Todoist it needs a LOT more.

For tasks and projects, you can choose from list-style templates like to-dos, checklists, and workflows, but you can also select templates with varying formattings like the calendar template or the roadmap template, which are both designed to help you organize and visualize upcoming tasks and projects.
Collaborate on policies with Notion!
What do you like best about the product?
I like how Notion handles security and version control. I can tag a specific set of people and whenever there are changes, I am alerted via email that one of the people has edited the document.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike how it's hard to track your documents over the months and years. I've written several things that have been lost in obscurity. It would be useful if there was a directory.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion is our knowledge base throughout the company for policies and procedures.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I highly recommend Notion. I do not know of any other software out there that is like it and that can be used on a company wide basis.
A do-anything text based organiser
What do you like best about the product?
It's so easy to use the keyboard to generate all kinds of items from simple notes and lists, to To-Dos, toggles, reminders, up to full fledged database type entries.
What do you dislike about the product?
As with anything this powerful there is a learning curve. However, there is also plenty of contextual help. You can encounter most possibilities just by typing slash/.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has replaced Evernote for me as a daily organiser, note taking and work planning app.
It's not a complete replacement for Evernote (which kicks ass btw) by any means, however it excels in this important aspect.

Notion: a game-changer for content management
What do you like best about the product?
Uh oh. This feels like an Evernote/Dropbox/Asana killer. Notion feels like a Slack channel for personal productivity. Its easy to use, intuitive, design-friendly user interface makes it a breeze to setup different templates for different projects. No more clunky switching between multiple systems to get work done, Notion feels more like an all-in-one content system due to their clever links and relational databases.
What do you dislike about the product?
Don't see a downside yet. Very easy to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm only a few weeks into using Notion, but already seeing huge increases in work productivity. Notion excels at managing/organizing/assigning/scheduling notes, blog posts, content calendars, schedules, research projects, and seriously considering dropping my paid subscriptions for other services like Dropbox and Evernote.
