Better than Confluence, by far!!!
What do you like best about the product?
Very developer friendly and the new AI helper is just icing on the cake.
What do you dislike about the product?
just the navigation is a bit painful and very hard to find, and I worry it is difficult like Confluence.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Just a better alternative to Confluence, and the new AI is just encouraging to write more and better quality docs.

What do you like best about the product?
It's the capability to do more than my brain does. It keeps me organized and creative and expressive and private. I love the community and how there is so much to learn and yet so so simple to navigate. The AI was just the cherry on top.
What do you dislike about the product?
Free writing on Notion is annoying because everything is formed into little boxes to encompass the text of that line. It's useful, but when I want to write or copy or paste in, the formatting is structured to something I don't like.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Organization, time management, creativity blocks. Notion has helped me save time but creating my own dashboard for basically everything and anything in my life.

the AI is so helpful, helps me with outlines, cover letters, has saved me so much time and is easy to use!

sometimes the ai doesn't provide information needed when it's the other writing on the page is not related to the question asked

all of my work projects, emails, and how much time i spent on them, it has all gotten better and i am more productive

What do you like best about the product?
The AI feature is beneficial. I find it helps me think of ideas, and then the format of Notion can help me develop these points. I also like how you can organise work into folders with links.
What do you dislike about the product?
I did find Notion quite difficult to use in the beginning, and had to watch various youtube videos on how to organise and use folders. Furthermore, shortcuts often come up when you don't want them to.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion helps me organise my University lecture notes into folders for each course. I can also then create subgroups for lectures, tutorials etc. The AI tool also helps me come up with ideas for work.
Great tool that has helped my in organizing my notes and tracking my assignments.

Notion has been beneficial for organizing tasks, notes, and schedules. As a university student, the ability to easily categorize and prioritize assignments and deadlines has been a game changer. The customizable interface is handy in meeting my specific needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to see more templates that can be used by newcomers that will better introduce them to the opportunities and tools that notion has at its disposal.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion is solving the organizing issues I have struggled with for some time. I have benefit in using Notion as my own personal assistant in keeping me accountable and up to date with all my life endeavors.

What do you like best about the product?
Notion databases. They by far the best thing about them and their customiseability means that you can organise information however you like:
- Boards
- Lists
- Timelines
As far as I know, nothing comes close to it. We were in confluence last year and moved to notion. I don't think confluence had something like that at the time.

Sometimes databases can take a while to load.

Individual Experience is great but the team experience is eh
What do you like best about the product?
I love being able to customize pages exacatally how I want. The kanban boards have helped with my software projects. I use it for all my notes now and any links I find on the web. The AI feature is nice for helping with research.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm not too fond of the teamspace pricing. I feel it's a little steep for how few features I need. I was working on a software project and was using notion to keep up with the documents and features, and I wanted to invite my friend to assist me on it. Instantly, even though it was only a couple pages and a kanban board, I had to purchase a premium license for him and myself. I am looking for a different app to move that project to now to cut down on costs. Also the AI is a little lacking when it comes to page formatting. Stuff like converting a bulleted list to checklist is a little iffy. I also was unable to get it to insert anything into a database page, which would honestly be really helpful. I understand this is a new feature and I am sure your team will be adding more stuff soon enough, but it feels like a very weak chatGPT that I am paying for. I dont want this to seem like a negative review. I do use and will continue to use notion, but probably not the paid features now.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Its an excellent note-taking app. It syncs with all my devices (even mobile) and lets me keep everything in one place. I am able to move most of my project management stuff over to it, which is fantastic.
Notion AI Doing It's Thing
What do you like best about the product?
I like how Notion creates an ease-of-use experience to stay organized. It immediately has templates you can adopt for very relevant things at work, in your personal life, and more!
What do you dislike about the product?
The tutorial felt like it was designed for tech-savvy individuals. Many older folks are looking to become tech organized and even would like to adopt a mentality of digitizing things, but Notion felt like it fell short of really breaking down how to use it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Simple writing prompts that help me use Notion AI as more of a thesaurus more than anything else! As well, when I'm trying to summarize quick weekend itineraries or organizing a way to begin a project Notion really steps in.
Great for experimenting with different PKM structures

I like it's flexibility to build different information structures and interrelate them to each other.

I think that Notion is missing some basic visual controls to make the experience more customizable for different needs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion is helping me to organize and capture my thoughts. I use a zettelkasten system to connect my ideas using databases. Being able to create different relationships between ideas is valuable in finding new insights.
