An amazing tool for creating and organizing information
What do you like best about the product?
I like how flexible it is. It can be used as a 'brain repository' of random thoughts that can be later retrieved. But it can also be used for structured, organized information for myself or shared.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the feature boundaries/price packages aren't well aligned for my taste. Some features that are more corp are in consumer version and vice versa. More annoyingly, the basic (and fantastic) note-taking AI feature is only available with a big upcharge with many features I have no need for.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is providing a single repository for my notes, records, etc that I can access on any of my many devices whenever I need it
User-Friendly Yet Needs Better Setup Support
What do you like best about the product?
I really like that Notion has specific templates you can put in place, especially for projects with recurring tasks. I also like that you can tag people for status updates or to track when work is being done. I appreciate that it's not overly complex like ClickUp or Asana, where you have to spend a lot of time learning how to use the software before you can start using it.
What do you dislike about the product?
I really wish that when people sell you templates, Notion was more integrated with providing tutorials on how to actually use and customize the templates. I often feel like I need to hire assistants to learn how to set things up because the cost of Notion consultants is usually way outside of my budget. Linking views is something I still am not fully understanding. I wish there were more tips and tutorials or an easy way for me to jump on the phone with someone really quick.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion helps me organize content across platforms, keep everyone's work in one place, and share pages externally when needed.

What do you dislike about the product?
That you need to pay for the best feature
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
To structure and plan my life both professionally and personally
A Versatile Database with Seamless Workflow Integrations
What do you like best about the product?
We use it a lot at our company as our database and give us a lot of ways to integrate it with our flows
What do you dislike about the product?
Probably that in the case you have a slower equipment it might affect your motion experience as it seems to consume a lot of resources
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
How to efficiently share knowledge and track multiple processes within our company
AI Notes That Keep Every Call on Track
What do you like best about the product?
AI notes can be really helpful—they support me on every call and make it easier to keep track of what was discussed.
What do you dislike about the product?
The pricing based on location is a problem. In Brazil, the monthly cost feels very aggressive because of the dollar exchange rate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me better organize my to-dos, documentation, and discoveries, keeping everything clearer and easier to find when I need it.
Standout Documentation Powerhouse with Room for Offline Growth
What do you like best about the product?
I use Notion for work, mostly for technical documentations, and I love the ability to write mark-ups in mermaid.js and preview them, which makes it stand out compared to tools like Google Docs and Microsoft Word. Being able to create 'codes' for JSON data is also a great feature that I use frequently. As a technical person, Notion provides an easy means to create documentation for APIs and app architecture, which is invaluable for collaborative efforts with my colleagues. It's also integrated into Slack for updates, which is helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the AI features could have an extended trial period for me to really see it at work. Also, I'd like for the Notion desktop and web apps to work offline so that, even in the instance of a poor network, documentation can continue and then synchronizes when network is restored.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion lets me write technical documentations with mermaid.js mark-ups and preview them, which is missing in Google Docs or Microsoft Word. As an engineering manager, it helps me document APIs and app architectures for team collaboration.
AI-Driven Efficiency with Room for Customization
What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate the AI writing assistant in Notion; it's incredibly helpful, probably more than I realized. It makes it easy to ask the AI to find information or clarify unfamiliar acronyms, products, or features without context. I use it to pull up relevant documentation, comments, and context to get a nice overview, and it helps reframe my content. This streamlines building materials for different teams, quickly speeding up those processes. I find it valuable for dealing with large amounts of documentation, as the AI can pull relevant information and give me useful summaries. It’s also fantastic for idea generation and writing support, especially when my brain is tapped out. It helps put things together, rethink ideas, and only uses the context I provide, which I find really nice.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think one of the biggest issues with Notion is that there's so much documentation, and you don't know where everything is. I feel like there are a lot of programs similar to Notion that allow more customization, like on the sidebar. I want to be able to look at documents in my own way, have my own folders, and have my own structure. I can't do that in Notion without creating a separate page and tables, which is an extra step I have to manage and maintain. Having a folder-based structure to organize existing pages in a way I see fit, even if I'm not the owner of those pages, would be really helpful for my workflows.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion consolidates all our documentation, making it a central hub for task and content management. The AI writing assistant speeds up processes, providing summaries, context, and helping with content creation and idea generation.
Notion Makes Team Coordination Organized and Effortlessly Shareable
What do you like best about the product?
Notion helps our team coordinate tasks, calendars, and information in a more organized, easy-to-store, and shareable way than Google Docs and Google Calendar.
What do you dislike about the product?
The configuration features can be complicated, and there’s a steep learning curve to get comfortable with them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The calendar is well organised, and it makes it easier to manage and share information within our company.
Highly Customizable and Feature-Packed—Notion You’ll Grow to Love
What do you like best about the product?
I love that Notion is highly customizable and has a ton of features. I can find a solution for any use case I have.
What do you dislike about the product?
Onboarding. Truly when I joined my current company it was hard to learn how to use Notion. Its so bad that we all joke we have Stockholm syndrome with Notion. You hate it when you start using it but learn to love it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Centralized location for anything and everything
Effortlessly Streamlined Workflows with Notion
What do you like best about the product?
I find Notion easy to use and appreciate its great integration with other tools like Slack, ClickUp, and GitHub. It's easy for senior data integration engineers to work with and leverage the automations. Plus, it’s simple for non-techy people to build basic pages that look great. I really value the flexibility to automate workflows, integrate with other tools, and handle document retention efficiently.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'd love to see some more AI tooling to improve workflow, use the mirroring functionality, and create more easily digestible data.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Data is available in a single source, easy to share and publish to a website compared to Google Docs, and offers lots of great integrations.
