Notion is a great place to make sure all knowledge is centralised and easily accessible
What do you like best about the product?
The flexible nature of Notion makes it a great tool for our diverse team within the company. We use it for internal documentation, product roadmaps, and office information - and we can rely on the fact that everything is in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
The flexibility of Notion is sometimes a problem as well. It'd be great if they offered a bit more built-in structure you can optionally rely on to make sure things are organised.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Replacing many different tools and sources of information, so employees don't have to worry where they should. The only thing is knowing where to look within Notion.

What do you like best about the product?
Notion is really an easy-to-use tool for a small startup like ours, We manage our Leads, prospects & Deals details on a CRM we have built from Notion templates. We have built a board containing boards for knowledge sharing & data management for new employees, customers & miscellaneous info.
What do you dislike about the product?
Synchronization, when two people are working on the same sheet, can be improved. This is the only thing that needs improvement, Apart from it we love using Notion for our business needs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion has been solving our everyday business requirements from managing the data and bringing the teams to a common workplace to sharing content & info. Instead of using multiple saas tools for managing data, website pages, CRM, we manage it all on Notion.
Notion is our one-stop shop for internal documentation.
What do you like best about the product?
I like that multiple users can use Notion and work on the same document at the same time seeing changes in real-time. I like that you can design nice documents only with your keyboard.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would be happy if there was an option to change the color and size and font of headings and other elements so that it matches our corporate identity. Also, I once had an issue where a deleted,
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion is allowing us to document all our internal and client meetings and keep them safe and easily accessible for everyone. Also it ensures that there are not two versions of the same document.
The best tool to organize work logs
What do you like best about the product?
The best point of Notion is that in which I can organize various materials (text, pdf, code etc.) in one service by utilizing various databases.
For example, I record daily logs by a calendar, discussion logs by lists, and photos by a gallery.
For example, I record daily logs by a calendar, discussion logs by lists, and photos by a gallery.
What do you dislike about the product?
The service will be more valuable for me if it can provide a preview for MS Office files (.docx and .pptx) as it does so for pdfs and pictures.
In addition, as an importation tool of websites, Evernote is much better... designs of websites are corrupted when saved by Notion web importer tool.
I heavily use a web importer to save websites with tags ('Books to buy', 'Place to go', 'Must read' etc.) and it will be helpful if Notion web importer become better.

Connection of database is a great idea.
I connect a Daily log database in which I keep records of what I do in a day and a Student database in which I records who they are.
When I discussed with a student, I write discussion records in a Daily log database and linked the daily-log page with the student page so that I can track the discussion log by a student page.

As you get used to it, it becomes very convenient, so we are promoting its use within the company. However, it can be somewhat difficult for beginners who have only used Office tools.
What do you like best about the product?
I was using Asana to manage a single team, but when multiple teams need to collaborate and operate, it's necessary to link each of their task management boards. In this regard, I find Notion very convenient because it allows you to link databases. Additionally, I find it user-friendly to be able to create templates that include various information such as tables and manuals for complex tasks with many steps.
What do you dislike about the product?
Compared to Excel and Google Sheets, there are fewer types of functions other than calculations, and it is difficult to use complex displays such as specific citations and display settings under certain conditions, as well as the inability to set conditional formatting. I would appreciate it if these could be improved a bit more. Also, in terms of API integration with Zapier, the Action Key is only for New Record, so it would be helpful if the Key could be expanded to the level of Asana, such as when changes are made or searching for Records under specific conditions, to advance automation. Additionally, I have a separate contract for form functions based on Notion, but I would like the main body to have the ability to create forms like Airtable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am currently responsible for building workflows and promoting administration within an organization of about 5 teams and 40 members. Although I have experience in operations management for small teams, this is my first time managing workflows that connect multiple industry teams with different missions, such as operations, designers, sales, and engineers. Therefore, I have been greatly aided by being able to integrate all the task management tools previously used by each team into Notion.
Easy and useful
What do you like best about the product?
A fast learning curve, Its interface is intuitive and almost anyone can start creating personalized tools for personal use or team use. Once you understand how it works you can start building from a simple to-do list to a more complex system as a CRM, planning tool, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
It doesn't really use relationships for its databases, so you always need to create many-to-many relations if you want to create more complex tools. Also, you can share views to specific users of your team or guests with a filter so they only can see what you want them to see from a certain database BUT you have to share also the full database so they can view it in their filtered view. This makes the filtered view useless because they will also be able to view the full database so they can see data that only certain users should be able to see. They need to fix this so the users only can see the views shared with each one without the need to give them access to the full database. Otherwise, you need to create a database or table for each user. This would be the weakest point of notion.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's helping me with controlling tasks for my co-workers with a full system I'm implementing. Since we need to organize the tasks by client, project, area, etc. It's almost perfect for the job.
The perfect wiki and team collaboration platform for SMBs
What do you like best about the product?
Notion is a powerful and easy-to-use collaborative wiki that will work well for small and medium-size teams.
The user experience is very modern and easy. That will facilitate the onboarding of most users.
The mobile app works also very well. All your data and teams' collaborative discussions are accessible everywhere.
It’s like having Microsoft Sharepoint or Atlassian Confluence but much easier to use, but without all the heavy « corporate » features and complications.
It fits well with an agile culture where flexibility and experimentation are the norms.
Notion manages text, images, documents and even videos pretty well.
It has API's that integrate well with many tools such as Zappier, Google Drive, Dropbox, Zoom, etc...
You can create very flexible tables, wiki links, see backlinks, and discuss with team members almost any piece of data.
Everything can be refactored easily as you go...

What do you dislike about the product?
I don't personally use Notion as a personal note-taking tool. I don't like that all my data and my files are hosted on a web app that I don't control and in a format that is not standard. I use Obsidian as my personal PKM system.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion shine when you need to build collaboratively a shared knowledge space with an agile structure.
Great product for small businesses
What do you like best about the product?
Notion has allowed my team to become more efficient by simplifying tasks and drafting documentation for staff to refer back to.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the formulas regarding task management templates are complex and I don't understand how to use them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Delegating tasks and assigning ownership to certain tasks.
You NEED Notion
What do you like best about the product?
Notion is one of those tools that you can do so much with. You can use tables, calendars, columns...the sky is the limit! I used Notion at my previous company and when I interviewed for my current role I asked "Could we get Notion?"
It really is a tool that is so versatile and allows you to build up a space for SOPs - refraining from tribal knowledge becoming a problem.

What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't run into any dislikes during my two years using Notion. Sometimes I run into hangups when navigating around/trying to create a beautiful page, but I attribute most of that to user error.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion is solving a huge problem in the workplace: poor organization. It allows our company to have google sheets, miro boards, google dogs, google slides, and SOPs all in one place.
