Can't live without it
What do you like best about the product?
I personally can't live without notion for my daily planning and always recommend it to friends, it's very flexible and amazing as a draft for my ideas and planning
What do you dislike about the product?
The only situation where I don't recommend notion is when planning tech projects. Because it's very easy to delete or edit something by mistake, which happened to me when I started working with a tech team that used notion and accidentally clicked on something and was truely panicked.. it ended up that I made a page from template although I didn't know what that means at that time
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's like a repo for all my planning, ideas, learning, references.. literally everything in one place in a tidy and easy manner. No scattered plans on Word or Excel files everywhere that I would forget where I left a few days later.
Notion has changed the way I organise my life, personal and professional alike
What do you like best about the product?
What I love about Notion is how flexible it is to every single need of mine. Do I need to create a database of tasks? Check. Do I need to create a list to keep track of the books I'd like to read? Check. Do I simply need a place where I can dump information and notes for future reference? Notion does that too.
It's empowered me to centralise all my information and create a hub that I can use to manage my entire life. There's simply nothing like it.

What do you dislike about the product?
Notion is amazing for managing projects and for its flexibility, but there are a few things that I've encountered as a Team plan user. The learning curve is a bit steep for new users; it takes a lot of time to set up, even with templates; and the lack of recurring tasks is a great downside to anyone managing a repeated set of tasks over a long period of time. Database templates are a good workaround, but they're not perfect themselves.
While I think the former two items are a matter of personal taste and commitment, and I don't necessarily suffer because of those, I would really love to see recurring tasks sooner rather than later! It would change the way I use Notion completely, both at work and in my personal life.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion is helping me optimise my workflow and get rid of repeated information across my WFH workspace. Being remote means that there's a lot of data that needs to be accessed all the time, and coordinating a team can become cumbersome. Notion is helping me and my colleagues get rid of all that, by making information easy to access and more streamlined across a range of different micro-teams. It's basically helping remove silos!
A platform that finally does everything I want to do in one place.
What do you like best about the product?
I searched a long time for a platform that consolidates all the tools I need such as resource/documentation management and task/project management. I also love Notion's aesthetic.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a few database limitations that would be helpful to improve on. For example, being unable to group with rollup properties.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion has consolidated all the various tools I use into one. I used to use Asana combined with Airtable for resource management and task management, and now I can do it all in one place. I'm also able to customize my task management style to fit my needs.
Notion has helped me organise my school, work, and life – all while making it more enjoyable!
What do you like best about the product?
I like best the way Notion works at the core, so just blank pages. The amount of flexibility that comes with that is inspiring and I use lots of custom pages daily which reflect that. Also, the support that Notion employees gave me when I had a bug report or product request was simply astonishing.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are no downsides to using Notion. Over time the updates have reduced all kinks related to speed as my larger pages became a bit slower. At this time, there is nothing to add in my opinion, although I am sure they will think of ways to improve nonetheless!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion is solving the problem that all types of information is stored in different places. Also it has no restrictions to what you can input, which makes it much better than other tools. No need to save / remember, its flawless and automatic!
The tool that does it all
What do you like best about the product?
I can run my whole personal and business life through it and it's so customisable, I can fit to whatever my needs are. Great on mobile also.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be a steep learning curve to become a real ninja user and you have to enjoy creating systems and building things from scratch. Though it does make it easy to do that, it's more if you're brain is wired that way. If not you may want a simpler solution
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It stops my overwhelm and makes me feel more in control of my life

What do you dislike about the product?
Can be more presentable when use of tables (like excel)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Single place for reference. time saving
Great experience!
What do you like best about the product?
- Super Intuitive, easy to use, learn and organize. Very helpful customer success team too!
What do you dislike about the product?
To my understanding, it is quite open to everyone who has access, and maybe there could be some restrictive roles about who can edit what?
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Maintaining internal documentation, communication between different teams, and keeping track of ongoing projects, tasks and licenses.
This is awesome
What do you like best about the product?
Clean all-in-one workspace that creates hierarchy and organization within data.
What do you dislike about the product?
In terms of specialized/niche use cases, it's not there yet. Once it is, it'll conquer the world.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Organization! Documents were all over the place.
Good software for almost everything in the company, but requires a lot of time to setup properly.
What do you like best about the product?
Flexibility. It seems like we can adapt Notion to almost every project. We have been users for a few months; as a CEO, I found value in having updated data to create reports for my board. However, I am now in a situation where I need to hire someone to keep Notion in shape.
What do you dislike about the product?
The initial setup. It took me 3-5 days (3 hours per day) to learn how to implement a basic dashboard for Project Management from videos and manuals. Then I learned there are templates available, but they still need personalisation which also took me an extra week. Perhaps a simple initial funnel to understand the user's needs and suggest the most popular template will make the initial process faster.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Every month, I have to prepare a presentation with updates to the board. It is a simple standard format; however, the project tracking took me a lot of time. With Notion, I can create simple dashboards to tell me what's delayed, a Gantt chart for the whole company and the budgets. This is very convenient.
