Productivity boost
What do you like best about the product?
In my personal experience, the most helpful aspect of Notion has been the way it effortlessly combines multiple productivity tools into one cohesive platform. I've found it incredibly useful for organising my thoughts, planning projects, and tracking progress all in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can initially feel overwhelming due to its extensive features and customisation options. It may take some time to get accustomed to the platform and understand how to make the most of its functionalities.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion is helping me solve several problems related to my writing process, which include improving my writing, proofreading, and brainstorming. My performance has remarkably increased.

Notion has helped greatly by providing a very flexible way to create custom todo lists and projects. The AI addition has really made this product indispensable
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a bit of a learning curve but that should not put anybody off.
The AI has to be purchased for every team member even if only one member needs it. This is my main complaint.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The AI is a game changer quickly providing article suggestions, product descriptions and general copy.

What do you like best about the product?
Its design and its export. If I ask chatgpt to fix the grammar for me, I need to type it every time. But in Notion, I only need to use the arrow key to navigate. Which is I love.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have used Markdown a lot recently, but it still has some glitches when I want to import it. Also, as soon as GPT-4 came out, it was too powerful, so I used the notion AI less than before. Hope you can follow up if you are wealthy enough.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is cross-platform. For example, I have an assignment that I need to share with my teammates, and the professor doesn't limit the format. So, I can use Notion to create a PDF file after we finish it. MS Word or Google Docs can do it, but they have too many rules compared to Notion.

What do you dislike about the product?
Despite my appreciation for Notion, there are a few aspects that I find less than satisfactory. One significant issue I have encountered is the performance of the web version, which tends to be less smooth than expected. The platform often lags, leading to delays and frustration when trying to access or edit my content. This lack of fluidity in the user experience can hinder productivity and, at times, create a less enjoyable interaction with the platform. I believe improvements in the web version's performance would greatly enhance the overall experience for Notion users.

What do you like best about the product?
Notion takes a while to learn but once you have the hang of it, you are off and running. The templates that are available are endless, and the new AI feature is so helpful!
What do you dislike about the product?
I would love to see Notion improve its integration with google, for example google calendar. I would use it for everything if it had this feature built in. The integration with Figma is excellent so far.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Workflow, the overall workflow in Notion has helped me manage clients, my projects, and my process. I enjoy having the ability to make templates as well for each project I reuse.

Convenience at its best

How easy it is to edit and write down my notes- moving paragraphs has never been easier
AI makes the process a lot faster as well

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
it's solving how long it takes me to summarize and review peer reviewed studies and guidelines, once i ask the ai to bulletpoint it or answer a question based upon the guidelines it does within seconds opposed to the time it would take me to go through it myself
The Productivity Tool I've Always Wanted
What do you like best about the product?
Notion works how my brain does — or in tandem with it, anyway. It's a database of everything I may need now or in the future for work and personal items. Oddly, Google's workspace solutions are less organizable and searchable than you'd imagine. Notion is feature-packed but bare-bones regarding the actual documents and organization structures inside. No distractions, no unnecessary extras. And the development team has worked on adding requested features like offline syncing. Gotta love that.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some quirks, like when opening the mobile app, it returns to whatever was last open. This sounds intuitive to continue whatever you were working on, but in a mobile sense, I'm usually rushing to update something or jot down an idea before I lose it. Not only does opening any previously accessed database not give me a clear path to wherever I'm trying to go, but there are often loading delays that mean it shows me the home page, I try to click into a favorited database, but as I do that it's loading the previous one. Then multiple screens errantly jump around and I end up sometimes tapping on things I didn't mean to because I wasn't fast enough (or was too fast?). Quirks like that are usability and quality of life adjustments that we have been asking for changes to that would be really nice, even if they were custom settings we could decide on.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I manage a lot of content for clients and my own projects, as well as my own freelance business (invoicing, project tracking, etc). This has been the ultimate tool in having one place to manage everything without it feeling entirely convoluted like other platforms.
Fantastic university study tool
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to easily organise my university work and separate my lecture notes from study notes. Also very useful when writing essays for source collation and essay planning.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's perhaps a bit of learning curve when you first download the app, there's a lot of different features to discover and the getting the hang of the different tabs can be difficult.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Incredibly useful for correcting grammar and improving the quality of writing whether it be lecture notes or essays. Also the ability to ask questions within the notion app using the Ai feature increases productivity as you don't need to switch between Google tabs, it provides fast answers for simple questions and clarification on things.
Excellent Organizational Tool

Notion allows me to organize my files into the most micro subsections which is extremely helpful for visualizing and planning projects

It can be difficult to set up at first and the highlighting colours are quite dull
