Revolutionized Our Strategic Documentation

  • March 12, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really like the flexibility of Notion to mix documents, databases, and linked references in one workspace, which is incredibly powerful for us. Being able to write a narrative business model document and link it directly to structured data like model specifications and financial metrics in the same workspace stands out. Notion AI's capability to surface connections across our pages is also a standout feature, especially when returning to a project after some time. This helps us quickly reconstruct the context. The block-based editor is fantastic for building documents meant to be challenged and updated, rather than just filed away.
What do you dislike about the product?
The biggest gap is native data integration. We still have to manually pull data from QuickBooks and our operations dashboards — Notion can't connect directly to those systems, so the financial model we're building lives in Google Sheets rather than Notion itself. Notion is great for the 'thinking' layer but not the 'calculating' layer. We'd love better native spreadsheet/formula capabilities or direct integrations with accounting software so we don't have to maintain two systems. The other thing is that it can feel overwhelming for new users — the flexibility that makes it powerful also means there's no obvious starting point, which creates friction when onboarding team members like our operations managers who just need to find information, not build systems.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to centralize scattered business knowledge, solve strategic questions quickly, and establish a single source of truth. It links narrative documents with structured data, saving time and aiding execution. Notion AI helps by reconstructing context when revisiting projects.

Feature-Rich but Challenging to Master

  • March 12, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Notion for work, mainly for making to-do lists and tracking items. I like how it helps me stay organized and put together. It offers a lot of different feature options and different ways to organize my information. Specifically, I find the databases feature very useful.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't had any issues, it's just hard to learn. Just the difficulty of learning it at first. Maybe make it easier to use or make better tutorials/templates.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion helps me stay organized with my tasks. I especially find the different ways to organize information, like using databases, very useful.

Flexible and Easy-to-Use, Yet UI Needs Improvement

  • March 12, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

I really appreciate the meeting minutes being automated in Notion. It also has great flexibility with linking databases. The initial setup was very easy, especially when using templates.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the UI a bit slow and rigid sometimes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to keep track of work, meetings, and personal tasks with ease. It helps manage task projects, organize thoughts, automate meeting minutes, and provides flexibility to link databases.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use, gets me to the right pages in no time, allowing me to be more productive.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far, no complaints. The experience has been great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Instead of looking through many docs myself, I am able to rely on the Notion AI to do that for me. With the Notion AI help, I am able to get the needed answers faster and am more productive.
The meeting note taker also saves me a lot of time, having the ability to automatically link the notes to the proper client is a amazing.

Elevated Design and Rich Features, but a Steep Learning Curve

  • March 12, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
the design feels elevated and there are a host of features - it's clear from the start that you can easily utilize the tool while only scratching the surface of its capabilities
What do you dislike about the product?
it's very complex and the learning curve is quite steep. most project management platforms look and behave in the same way (e.g., monday, asana, airtable, etc.). notion is different and can take quite a while to set up and learn. once I learn it I'm sure i'll use it every day. however right now, i'm avoiding it because it's daunting!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
project management and ai integrations - holding all my project information in notion so i can easily reference it in claude and chatgpt.

All Our Company Docs in One Searchable Place with an Unmatched Editor

  • March 12, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It's just really nice to have all of my company's documents in one searchable place, and the rich text editor is unmatched.
What do you dislike about the product?
This is dumb, but Cmd+K takes a long time to initialize. I often find myself hitting it multiple times before it comes up on initial page load.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For me it's just a really useful dumping ground for ideas and communication.

Customizable Platform with AI, Needs AI Refinements

  • March 12, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like the fact that Notion is very customizable, which adds a lot of flexibility to how I use it. I especially appreciate its AI integration and how easy it was to create an agent to complete tasks. The ability to have a custom project management dashboard and a workflow where tasks I need to do automatically update is particularly valuable for me.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think that there's still a couple kinks to work out when it comes down to the AI agent. I've noticed that for these agents, I've had to kind of, like, talk it through a couple times for it to really understand what I'm trying to do. I would say maybe, like, a five out of 10 because there was some intricacies in setting up and understanding how it works. Easy, but it's not the easiest, I would say, for someone that doesn't know anything about it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion for task and project management, and it organizes my tasks effectively. Additionally, it allows me to create and share lead generators by creating pages and using them as links on social media.
