Tons of Customization Options That Fit Our Needs
What do you like best about the product?
I like the many customization options it offers.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it had more CRM-like features, and that it could be linked to other apps.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's helping me organize and keep track of my daily tasks, in a more efficient way, and also to keep track of my stats.
Effortless Project Management with Interactive UI
What do you like best about the product?
I like Notion's simple and interactive interface, which makes it very easy to use. The built-in integrations are one of the greatest features. I also appreciate the very easy initial setup, where you don't have to do much because of the amazing built-in capabilities Notion provides.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the table layout could be improved. It feels very congested, with a lot of options on the column side being stacked and presented in a compact manner. Maybe a UI filter or something similar could provide more space for the options to be viewed more easily.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to manage projects and catch up with teammates, allowing us to check in equipment and structure data effectively. It also integrates well with my cloud for streamlined queries.
Flexible and Powerful: Notion AI Chat Finds Solutions Fast
What do you like best about the product?
Notion is very flexible for how you wish to feed data into it. You can use it to record meetings as well which is helpful. I love that once you feed data in such as all the KB info you can possibly feed it, the AI chat works really well towards finding solutions to problems, how to address issues, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
As with most products that are very flexible, it sometimes doesnt feel as intuitive or simple to use as something more streamlined for specific uses. I could see a benefit to being able to select how you plan to use Notion when setting it up for the first time, and then certain structures and limitations put into place to then have a product very streamlined for how your team wants to use it. Things can always be changed, but this kind of setup would really make it more attractive for less tech savvy users or teams.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed a central information repo for our helpdesk, our KB items, and even a good place for meetings to be stored. Also we can enter issues and solutions, then as a team we can search using the AI chat and find solutions much faster. It really is a great way to store and access information way easier then any manual platform.
Easy Model Discovery, But Too Many Note-Finding Options Can Confuse New Users
What do you like best about the product?
Insightful organization and easy model discovery. We use it almost every day at work in different meetings and projects
What do you dislike about the product?
There are too many ways to find notes, which might seem like a good thing, but it can make people who are new to the platform feel very confused. For example, I think the calendar should be mandatory as the default model for every new note. That way, you could pick any day of the year and keep all your notes together, even as the years go by. The formatting and design should be more visual (like a mind map), and without this feature it's not that easy to implement.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It’s a place where you can turn legacy data into a very rich database. The AI feature for creating a to-do list or an action plan is really easy to use, and I’m impressed.
Easy to Start and More Flexible Than Typing Notes
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to start with. More flexible than just typing notes
What do you dislike about the product?
No drawing freatures. It will be great if we can draw on the pages. So I use others tools when I need to draw
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Organizing and tracking personal projects
Revolutionized Document Sharing and AI Integration
What do you like best about the product?
I use Notion primarily for work, like sharing SOPs and event sheets. The Notion AI is a big help for me daily in creating documents for others, especially since how I work differs from corporate expectations. It's easy to share specific documents with people outside the organization without needing them to join the company. I really appreciate being able to share certain folders with third parties without giving them access to everything. We also have it connected with Google Drive, Slack, and a couple of other tools. Switching to Notion from Google Docs was a huge change for the better, and I'm highly satisfied with it.
What do you dislike about the product?
In my line of work, there is nothing more I could ask for from Notion.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion helps me create documents that bridge the gap between my work style and corporate expectations. It's easy to share specific documents without full access, and the AI is really useful.
Notion: The Go-To for Centralized Documentation
What do you like best about the product?
I love using Notion for its ability to create wikis about anything, making it an all-in-one stop shop for onboarding and building team reference docs. I find agents incredibly helpful for managing mundane tasks, like reviewing the previous day's work and tracking what's been missed. It's very straightforward for me to use, especially because I was already familiar with it from another gig and my personal use.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like the formula logic. It's so dissimilar to Excel logic for me that it's just not intuitive. You have to have the docs at hand or be intuitive enough to use Notion AI to get some assistance with the flow. Getting better with more complex database tasks would be especially useful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion as a central repository for documentation, supporting both technical and non-technical users better than GitHub. It's great for creating wikis for onboarding and agents help manage daily tasks by checking Slack channels, enhancing team accessibility and efficiency.
Streamlines Document Management with Easy Embedding
What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy Notion is to use and the ability to embed many things we use, like Google Docs and Sheets. Being able to embed documents or sheets directly into Notion and having all related information visible in one place is important to me. It makes it faster to share information and avoid repeating work.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think some of the table functionalities could be improved. Often, I don't want the line items to be a separate page, and I wish there was an option to not do that because people click on it and get confused.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion as a wiki for planning and linking to other documents. It keeps everything in one place, makes resources easily accessible, and helps avoid repeating work with its embedding feature.
User-Friendly UI with Embedded AI That Makes Everything Easy to Find
What do you like best about the product?
The UI is user-friendly, making it easy to find what I need, and it also includes embedded AI.
What do you dislike about the product?
It’s not possible to send events from the entire org to an external webhook. It’s also not possible to search across the whole org using the API and return the content directly in the endpoint results.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The new AI-powered features are really helpful.
Powerful Collaboration with Room for Improvements
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the variety of properties that Notion allows us to create, including native properties for when things are last edited, created, and by whom. We enjoy the ability to create templates for our tasks and projects, and it's easy to track projects in a Kanban view versus a list view. We also appreciate working with other teams and being able to see their types of projects to mimic that on the business operation side.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have issues with the lack of visibility in the team spaces. We work in silos, and it's hard to link our team's databases to others. This causes us to miss out on seeing who's working on overlapping initiatives and can result in double work, as we end up documenting the same projects in different team spaces.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to track and log tasks and projects efficiently, linking objectives to larger initiatives. However, I face visibility issues across team spaces, causing siloed work and duplicate efforts.
