What do you like best about the product?
Allows managing all batch processes and workflows running on different systems (Mainframe, Unix/Linux, Windows, Cloud, etc.) from a single console.

BMC's super tool for faster file transfer - CONTROL-M MFT
What do you like best about the product?
The perfect aspect I like about CONTROL-M's managed file transfer is the tool's interface and protocol for more secure file transfers. The file transfer takes place in the shortest possible time and applies to large files.
What do you dislike about the product?
At first glance, it seems to us that the tool is a bit difficult to implement in the project, sometimes confusing. But over time I feel like a pro. So now I have no problem with it, but sometimes the file transfer fails due to another sync, nothing more to say about that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a project-based courier service that handles large volumes of orders etc. The thing is, we get a random date every 5 minutes, all managed independently from the on time delivery tool files. If the file is delayed or blocked, the tool will resend the files to the appropriate destination. This tool makes our wallet smoother and easier.

What do you like best about the product?
Control-M is one of the best personalised tool which helped me to end up with rigourous monitoring.
What do you dislike about the product?
Software is little bit complicated to handle as it requires specialised understanding deep in product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Consistent Monitoring is now being replaced with few other works.

The different job monitoring options.its has good scalability and workload automation.better than sql agent.

It is best Automation tool & its using at banking sector as well as insurance sector to automate there process..everything is best ...dont no about compititor but control-M hanving its own idenity

Nothing as such everythis is perfect..also control-M is not having dislikes for now..easy to handle & anyon can learn control-M..Nothing as of now ..everything is perfect

Its solving manual work & banking n inssurance sector have lots of benifit from Control-M..Because whatever they are doing manually like EOD n all that we can Automate through Control-M
It helped to analyze as well as supported us to monitor batch jobs and its running proceses

I like the way it monitors batch jobs in sequence and alerts us of the warning and errors in it so that we can fix them, and it will help the business in continuity
What do you dislike about the product?
All good but only one thing it should notify through mail about the particular job failures so that even if support misses, it will wake you, the stakeholders. That's what I feel

Yet help us to monitor the batch jobs, and as it alerts any violation, it will reduce the overheads, and the business process will be seamless so that it won't affect the productivity

What do you like best about the product?
This is one of best to scheudle different kind of Jobs and Process . Also it can work on any environment You dont need to only setup in UNIX . Its a good tool .

As of now thing . I do really like and feel better than CronJobs

It benefits me to create multiple Jobs and processess with specific time and day .It brings me more prouductive when compare to other tools

When Control-M is down we can't use the application other than that there are no dislikes

What do you like best about the product?
Control-M Gui is very user friendly and what you see is what you get. There are also multiple tutorials found in Youtube for the differemt functions of the tool
What do you dislike about the product?
What I don't like with scheduling in Control-M is that when you schedule a job that has the same in-condition instead of confirming with you if you want to change the other one, it will add a random number to denote the difference between them.

Control-M provides job scheduling solutions to Multinational companies that needs Automation. You can automate your processes on demand and on what specific time you need it to be.
