What do you like best about the product?
I work in the competitive intelligence function and I particularly use the analyst research reports and the feature in alpha sense allows for scanning through key words pertaining to our business. Instead of manually reading through several reports, the AI-based text, positives and negatives feature helps with saving time to scan across major industry conference presentations. I am looking forward for the earnings transcript calls. The team was also very helpful to help set up my dashboards. The platform is very intuitive
What do you dislike about the product?
Not all brokerage research was available to me and this had to be manually added in several cases.
Alphasense should also work with vendors such as Frost & Sullivan and Science and medicine syndicated research service providers to provide more market research related reports in one place. This can offer a comprehensive view for market researchers.

speed to analyze data has been very helpful. Helps tracking market share for our products.

Consider taking a relook at broker coverage and ensure the analysts covering your industry and showing in your account.
Great experience using the product so far. I recommend simplifying the user interface.
What do you like best about the product?
Transcripts are very useful. I think that having immediate transcripts are very useful. Another one of my favorite pieces is sentiment. It is useful for identifying key points.
What do you dislike about the product?
Too many buttons and difficult to use on the phone and ipad. Please try and streamline the different buttons that you can select to identify the documents needed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am trying to find unique pieces of information that can inform my models. In addition, I am trying to get a better understanding of company background in a short amount of time.

I would get some support to teach you how to use the website before going too deep.

Great aggregation of all the different sources of info. Especially like that they have international filings.

UI is a bit slower than other comparative products.

What do you like best about the product?
We love the vast amount of high-quality research that Alpha Sense brings to our market intelligence team. And it's not just research that focuses directly on our markets but also on ancillary and emerging markets that we are just beginning to investigate. The price point for this subscription is very competitive, and we have found nothing out there like it in the market.
What do you dislike about the product?
One of the strengths of Alpha Sense is perhaps also a weakness - there is just so much information that it's not always easy to find what you are looking for, despite the AI search engine, which does make searches more intuitive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our core backbone of market intelligence we obtain from other vendors often does not have the information we need for our marketing and R&D teams that are engaged in creating products and services for new markets and applications. For these kinds of market intelligence challenges, we turn to Alpha Sense. We value the breadth of research and sources, some well-known (i.e., Morgan Stanley, Bank of America) and others that are smaller boutique firms.

What do you like best about the product?
I like their dashboard very much. It's very intuitive to search for broker reports, company docs and filter them down to any specifics required.

It is difficult to find details about small private company's information. Which I hope would improve over a period of time

Long Time User and Fan
What do you like best about the product?
AlphaSense has three distinct aspects that I really enjoy/appreciate. The first, is the power of the search capabilities in being able to efficiently deliver on-target search results. Second is the breadth of information sources. The third builds on the two prior points and is the ability to deliver real-time alerts on companies and topics of interest.
What do you dislike about the product?
There have been times when I felt a bit overwhelmed by the amount of information I received and have been challenged to navigate the site/selection criteria. Both issues were relatively easily resolved, in part due to the great user support the platform offers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As part of my job, I research different types of cancer, including drugs in development and those commercially available, clinical trials, and companies developing these drugs and sponsoring these clinical trials. The platform can efficiently provide refined and high-quality search results relating to my queries.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I have used and demoed various information sources/providers and found AlphaSense to be one of the most efficient platforms with one of the broadest sets of information sources.
Insightful reports
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to search for company reports, investor reports, and news separately is beneficial, in my opinion.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of my search results didn't yield anything and I was not sure what mistake I was making. It would be helpful if the software gave you cues on errors.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I researched specific topics like "fintech industry in the country XX" in which the tool is beneficial. It also helped me get investor reports when the company's website was down.
Simple to use business intel web based software
What do you like best about the product?
I like that it's webbased and that I do not need to install anything on my local machine

I did not like how much SPAM I received from the company about their product.

I was searching the web for relevant business forecasting information about competitor drug companies and their assets.
