What do you like best about the product?
The alphasense query helps determine the tonality of the article using AI, it also helps in faster and deeper query by searching in annual reports and transcripts
What do you dislike about the product?
The user interface is quite complex for a noob, they need to dumb it down or add an easy mode for newbies. Also the support looks ok and not so great and would need to.work
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Business research and news tracking.
It helps me to be more agile and efficient. The tonality feature adds to deeper and enhanced ability to reasearch on various topics

What do you like best about the product?
You can complete a research project in a fraction of time that it usually takes via google searches, company websites, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
Can't think of anything that is obvious. Maybe they can add more data sources (more medical conferences, for instance)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am researching diseases and biotech companies. The output is accurate, relevant and concise.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can pull investor presentation, analyst reports and recent company news quickly. I also like the sentiment highlighting and the keyword searching.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish setting up dashboards was a little more intuitive. Maybe it is, and I just haven't spent enough time working with them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
No problems. Benefits are that it makes researching specifics of public companies easy.
Best news alerts, competitor tracking, and analyst/market insights platform
What do you like best about the product?
The interface is excellent. The PDF search tools are extremely valuable given so many reports needed for access are pdfs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Setting up the alerts function is not entirely intuitive. For existing alerts, it is difficult to modify, rather than deleting and creating from scratch

Analyst report consolidation so easy, old company materials that need to be dug up

Best analyst coverage platform. Great way to consolidate former documents for any biotech strategy professional
AlphaSense is great, stellar for certain use cases

Ability to consolidate financial statements, perform sentiment analysis, upload and OCR original documents, and gain access to a wide variety of industry and investment banking reports
What do you dislike about the product?
AlphaSense is somewhat pricy. The sentiment analysis and natural language processing tools are good but could be improved - I expect they'll get better over time
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use AlphaSense to consolidate and compare companies, understand trending industry terms, and to add a qualitative layer to financial comps. Moreover, I am able to reference industry reports and metrics more quickly with AlphaSense than with other tools

Utilize training sessions with the AlphaSense team to use the product most effectively

The smart search capabilities are still somewhat in development- i.e., Google's search can often generate more relevant content, but it's way better than a strict logical search.
The company and search alerts (email) aren't very well targeted yet. Part of this is user error- I haven't spent much time refining the alterts- but I suspect many people would not. I mostly delete the emails

The access to extensive equity research is a huge boon, and the easy search of earnings transcripts often turns up really great content

Broker research isn't unlimited and they are missing some key banks for research reports

Takes a bit to load. Page number limit on reports makes it constraining

What do you like best about the product?
I work in the competitive intelligence function and I particularly use the analyst research reports and the feature in alpha sense allows for scanning through key words pertaining to our business. Instead of manually reading through several reports, the AI-based text, positives and negatives feature helps with saving time to scan across major industry conference presentations. I am looking forward for the earnings transcript calls. The team was also very helpful to help set up my dashboards. The platform is very intuitive
What do you dislike about the product?
Not all brokerage research was available to me and this had to be manually added in several cases.
Alphasense should also work with vendors such as Frost & Sullivan and Science and medicine syndicated research service providers to provide more market research related reports in one place. This can offer a comprehensive view for market researchers.
