What do you like best about the product?
By far the most powerful aftermarket research tool on the market. AlphaSense's smart search function is like doing a ctrl+f on every corporate document ever published; plus you get synonyms, not just exact matches!
What do you dislike about the product?
Get a lot of hits from foreign publishers, and not enough from the Gartner, Forrester, EY, Delloites of the world.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Market sizing, competitive landscape analysis, public market sentiment on comps.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Buy it. Quit wasting money buying entire aftermarket research reports blind to their content.

Access to WallStreetInsights and the intelligent search functionality.

Difficult to go back through search history or track down previously viewed items if not saved at the time.

Access to analyst insights has been very helpful in providing competitive intelligence around competitor performance and strategy as well as market developments.

Probably reducing a bit on sharing content
Very power platform, but takes time to get familiar with functionality / use case

keywords search in specific documents is very helpful when looking for specific details not readily available on the internet or a companies website.

it takes some time to understand what is the best route to use the platform so that you get the most out of its capabilities.

finding details that are not publically readily available on certain companies

Comprehensive searching of presentations, clinical trials, and earnings calls

It is hard to have both a deck and a transcript open at the same time.

Finding everything on a target asset and finding signal in the noise of transcripts. It is also great at keeping me in the loop with its curated alerts.

A demo with the team is helpful in understanding how to unlock all the potential

The speed at which I can conduct my research and the confidence it gives me in knowing whether there is information available on a given topic.

I would like a counter, so I know where I am with page views and don't have to worry about exceeding.

Getting an outside perspective on key events from analysts, quickly finding data, quick access to clinical trials. Easy access to transcripts.
