Fantastic tool with great, smart way to search through multitude of sources.
What do you like best about the product?
Ability to search through multitude of soruces, sort through based on scores. Highlights of words in search pane
What do you dislike about the product?
Does not show, history of prior searches. Does not allow saving a 1-2 relevant pages of an anlyst report.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am in the market intelligence business. AlphaSense has been vital to me to gain insights into the market players.

To be able to search for research reports across companies and industries

Lack of Chinese language support. Multilingual support is important
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mainly as a search tool. Research for a particular company or industry. Need to extract information on a specific topic rapidly and locate the answer precisely.
A great platform with excellent customer support
What do you like best about the product?
The search functionality covers a broad set of sources, and the context highlighting pane saves a lot of time by allowing you to rapidly identify and either include or exclude from consideration keyword hits within large documents.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have had limited success using the platform to find underlying models used in analyst forecasts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
AlphaSense has helped to identify previously unknown competitors as well as monitor news flow and trends within a therapeutic area. These have contributed to both commercial strategy development and forecasting activities.
Great search feature that finds relevant results quickly. Much improved analyst report access.
What do you like best about the product?
Search engine/algorithm, especially the feature where synonyms are included in the search so that content cant be found even if I don't use the correct words.
What do you dislike about the product?
When I first started using the platform, the analyst reports and banks included were pretty "lite." As time has gone on, AlphaSense has clearly added to this offering and now offer content from the larger / more recognized banks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mostly used to quickly look up SEC documents as well as find analyst reports that forecast revenue for pharmaceutical products that my company is interested in getting "second opinions" on vs our own analysis.

Try it! Also - you can upload your docs for easy indexing.
I've found Alpha sense to be an extremely useful tool that I'm using multiple times a week

Easy to find results, save searches and create a process
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the e-mail updates were more concise- I intentionally create broad, wide-casting searches, which results in 100's of results. I'd like it if the e-mail could be programmed to just give me the top 10 by the AS score or something.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My market insight has grown exponentially by being able to consume a much higher quantity of material with much greater efficiency. My ad hoc research tasks have also been streamlined very well.
Highly recommend. Great platform aggregating vast sources of data on companies and industries

Would be great to have Excel add-in for financial info.

What do you dislike about the product?
The delay between when reports are published vs. when they hit AS - I would love to save notes under different shared folders, so my team and I can easily search and share our notes with each deal team.

Equity research, latest PR, etc. - Much faster than other platforms

Shared notes that can be searched with the AI platform. I highly reccommend switching to Alphasense

Interface is intuitive. Alpha Sense lets you get to what you are looking for quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
The contextual search (so searching for "ARPU" and similar words showing up) is improving. Its very good, but clearly, getting better all the time. So I would not say I dislike it, I would just say is an area that will need constant improvement. Its already pretty great.

Documents and filings are getting denser and littered with more disclosures and non-business related content every day. Alpha Sense helps you get to what you are looking for efficiently.

Look no further if you need a tool to help you sift through documents.
Really excellent source of information, and they are continuously improving their offering
What do you like best about the product?
I use AlphaSense on an almost daily basis stay on top of competitor and market activity, and to also make sure that I am seeing the same 3rd party analysis that our C-suite sees. The company's customer support personnel have been fantastic in helping me streamline my workflow by helping me set up searches and alerts. The company is also constantly improving their offering by adding new features.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes you get too many hits, and then you have to either tighten up your search or figure out other ways to filter the search. But the customer service team has been helpful in teaching me how best to find what I am looking for.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use AlphaSense to get external validation of my company's internal assumptions. Also it is a valuable source of competitive intelligence and analysis. I need to be able to understand what the pros and cons are for different competitor drugs I am monitoring, and AlphaSense also now provides expert commentary so that I can gain qualitative insights without having to conduct my own interviews.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Work with the customer service team to learn how to fine tune your searches, and ask them how to help you set up automatic search alerts.

Equity reports - a great feature. They have data that we can't get elsewhere

We often use snips from transcripts to bolster our own research. A quote from the CEO of a public company always helps us improve our credibility

Finding obscure datapoints. So much of our job is hunting for specific datapoints without our target markets. Alphasense makes it easy to find them
We've benefited a lot from seeing what the equity analysts have to say about the impact of COVID on our target markets. Seeing the breadth of views helps us create boundary conditions when we are creating our own forecasts. This is a significant value add as our clients have access to these reports and ensure we aren't the outlier (unless we want to be)
