What do you like best about the product?
Stream provides easy access to many expert opinions on a variety of companies + industries. The platform is easy to use and there are helpful summaries that help you understand what was covered.
What do you dislike about the product?
The quality of the experts and the questions asked are paramount and stream should do whatever possible to ensure high-quality questions are asked to the most relevant experts in a field.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Often we learn from industry experts when researching an investment idea. Stream is integral in helping us discover insights that help us get comfortable with an idea.

Tremendous Resource for a Deep Dive on Any Field
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate the ease of navigating the library, learning more about the companies in each industry, and the ability to download information for consumption on the go.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is occasionally difficult to understand the quality of an interview or the lens from which they are reporting. The contact cues are very important, as are the variety of insights around a company or sector. Hopefully they wi interview more competitors and former employers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Working in the startup space, there is a tremendous need for detailed information within the market research, product market and portfolio, and customer/supplier areas. Stream has built a massive library that's constantly updating with information for me to identify trends, learn the inner workings of companies, and develop investment theses on companies and sectors.

Take advantage of the ability to request data coverage on a company.

What do you like best about the product?
The vast library of companies and topics the library is building. So, whether I want to learn about an entirely new industry or get an update/channel check, you can usually find a call for each.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some lower-quality calls I run into while reading transcripts; however, the vast majority I find useful. If I were the platform, I would only include the highest-quality calls.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have noticed the quality of sell-side research diminish during my career for various reasons. Learning about businesses from people in the industry is a better alternative.
Insights into longer term competitive advantages, nuances within complexity, and unique perspectives
What do you like best about the product?
Stream helps give me a clearer view of reality in terms of a company's underlying drivers and what is happening under the hood. This is very different from reading what a journalist or Wall Street analyst has to say, which is often biased, filtered, and incomplete. I can see why Goldman Sachs is an investor.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's nothing that comes to mind. I'm excited to see what Stream comes up with next in terms of new functionality and other improvements.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Relying on secondhand information is dangerous. Stream helps me to conduct effective primary research.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
You're at a disadvantage from an investment standpoint if you aren't utilizing Stream. You'll be surprised by the wealth of information, search functionality, ease of use, and quality of the experts that the company sources.

- It would be nice to speak with the experts directly in addition to looking at the transcripts
- Would like to see more transcripts focusing on international companies

- Efficiently finding real-world experiences for certain companies and industries that would be difficult and time-consuming to find
- More cost-effective than other expert networks and platforms

- Be sure to narrow down your scope of search because even within one company such as AMZN, there are a litany of different topics you can address
good product but people can be difficult to deal with

hard to track which transcripts we've read through already

they provide access to experts and a valuable transcript backlog that helps us scale up on potential investment ideas

Absolutely Fantastic product, I love how many transcripts are posted daily and the quality of the experts.
What do you dislike about the product?
This isnt streams fault, but some of the experts sometimes lie about what they know. Happens to every service though!

Gain more in depth knowledge on the companies we cover

Make sure you love reading! Many of the interviews are very long

What do you like best about the product?
Expert Calls, IP information, analyst reports
What do you dislike about the product?
Complexity using Boolean terms; can be made better
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is a One Stop platform for all the CI solutions in pharma consulting; saves humongous of time and effort
AlphaSense is super useful for my pharmaceutical research needs.
What do you like best about the product?
I like that it contains information from all available sources in one place. I especially like the equity research reports, which can be hard to find. I also like the "filterability".
What do you dislike about the product?
I think there are a lot of features I never use which can be a distraction, but overall I figure out what I need and just use those. PErhaps as I get better with the system I will find uses for those tools.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm often asked to synthesize lots of information. AlphaSense allows me to find it all in one place, including archived resources which can be hard to find. I need it to do my job at the highest level.
