Leigh Anne was amazing! 24/7 online tech support a plus!
What do you like best about the product?
Leigh-Ann was amazing! She worked together with my team to address our concerns and found a package that worked within our budget. The entire team is very accommodating to schedule times that work for us. I like that they have online support 24/7 and the team encourages you to utilize that resource first. It's been 2 months so far and we hope that MELTWATER will be our solution for all of our reporting and social listening.
What do you dislike about the product?
The onboarding session was very general but it would have been more helpful if employees are able to setup the account ON the actual account during onboarding in place of a generic account.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were looking for a solution for Social Media Monitoring and also Campaign Tracking. Biggest draw factor is the KLEAR Payment Solution within their Content Creator management system. We have not fully setup the solution but we hope for this to make payments frictionless.
Basic Social Listening Tool
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use and set up. Not a steep learning curve, and all basic data sources are available. Also allows importing of data
What do you dislike about the product?
Not very powerful. Does not have the advanced theme and topic analysis features. Dashboarding capabilities are weak and widgets are not easy to setup
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Social Media listening, benchmarking, sentiment analysis and theme analysis are the primary use cases for meltwater
I'm new to Meltwater but so far it's proven to be extremely effective and critical to my role.
What do you like best about the product?
The support chat! Insanely helpful and quick to respond!
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish IG metrics were as easy to pull as the twitter analytics.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Without data and metrics, marketing goes into a campaign blind and does not know how it performs. With Meltwater, both of those are solved!

Data influx - Ability to get a quick view on the overall performance - Amount of data available
What do you dislike about the product?
Interface a bit complicated at times, data reliability (automated thus sometimes gather irrelevant data or misleading insight)

Get data on the PR performance, available at all times and without limitation over periods.
Great platform for media relations & monitoring. Publishing getting better by the day.

Meltwater is fantastic for media relations, media monitoring, and social media listening. Its analytics capabilities are also incredibly valuable.
What do you dislike about the product?
Its social media publishing tool needs some work, but it appears to be a focus for their dev team as we are seeing frequent improvements.

Media monitoring & social listening, social publishing, researching media contacts, pitching, audience research, and evaluating earned/owned media efforts.

- A must-have tool for strategists. Helps the team gather social listening data and insights ahead of presentations and pitches

What do you dislike about the product?
Big blind spots emerge when you attempt to drill down on data by certain countries or platforms. For example, filtering mention data down by country, followed by emerging platform, causes the tool to show no results. The team has assured me that this is a feature they are working on - looking forward to using the improved version!

Meltwater helps us effortlessly gather industry or market-wide audience insight and brand or keyword-specific insights. This means we spend less time doing manual desk research and more time ideating creatively on strategy and position for clients - something that would not have been possible without Meltwater.

What do you like best about the product?
Meltwater is good for providing insight into your company's perceived value/brand perception in the social world.
What do you dislike about the product?
Meltwater provides A LOT of information, and sometimes figuring out what is actually useful and what is just noise can be challenging.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's allowing our company to provide social listening for our clients, something that we would otherwise not have the time or tools to do.
Meltwater is a valuable tool for quickly and easily getting coverage.
What do you like best about the product?
Our customer service representative is one of Meltwater's top features. He always responds immediately and is knowledgeable. As a result, I can quickly identify who is blogging about themes that interest me and get their contact information.
What do you dislike about the product?
When you attempt to omit phrases from a question, they still appear in the chat stream, making it difficult to access the desired topic.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Now, in addition to monitoring our national and local opponents, we can benchmark our international competitors. Meltwater has helped us collect statistics to compare ourselves to other international agreements, which has been immensely helpful.
The money totally equates to targeted PR Solutions
What do you like best about the product?
Meltwater provides us an opportunity to finally understand who exactly is talking about us in the news and on social. We were wonderfully surprised to find the influencers and journalists that were interested in more targeted coverage.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some user interface issues that don't make it very easy to find some information, but once you know the system, you are good to go.

A must-have for media monitoring
What do you like best about the product?
Meltwater has been my go-to tool for media monitoring for more than a decade. It meets all my needs and met the needs of my clients over the years. It finds everything and organizes in a way that is flexible and easy to understand. The media database is robust, up-to-date and accurate.
What do you dislike about the product?
I only have two issues with Meltwater: 1. They don't have a way to weed out press release reprints. 2. They don't have a way to customize pitch emails to journalists.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Meltwater as our media monitoring and journalist database. It helps us identify, contact journalists and track our coverage. I don't believe anyone has more reach for coverage than they do.
