Great experience
What do you like best about the product?
I like that the service is all-inclusive, from sending press releases to tracking other companies' news.
What do you dislike about the product?
It did take some time to understand all of the different functions. Needed a few training sessions to get it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were looking to do our own press releases and distribution without the need to use an agency.
A Solid And Streamlined Tool With Some Hitches
What do you like best about the product?
The tool is streamlined and fairly simple to get used to using. The UI is clean and neatly laid out. The easy access to the support team has also been great for finding out how to do specific things that require a little more insight to find. The automatic sentiment assigning has also been very helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the main roadblocks experienced have been the inability to edit an Instagram video's thumbnail when publishing, some slow upload times for larger asset files and the inability to filter and sort specific influencers/authors by different criteria in the reporting section.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We need a tool that streamlines all of the social media processes from publishing to community management and reporting. Meltwater is a good tool for this and provides these different processes in a fairly intuitive layout.
Great end to end social media experience
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the analytics and Klear influencer tool. It has helped win over many clients.

Lacking some social media publishing features

The amount of options available to understand the reach of the media and its influence, helping us understand how to change our approach in terms of media exposure.

The platform can sometimes be considered confusing at first due to the many options available to filter and search through the algorithms needed for media outreach.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Understand the threshold of exposure we have as an institute, what information is being showcased to stakeholders, and how to better spread the information and data we produce to fill in the gap between the data and research that is being published and who has access to it.
Simple and dynamic
What do you like best about the product?
Daily updates about the organisation I work for (from different channels). This gives me the confidence to make sure what people are saying about my brand in real-time.
What do you dislike about the product?
We had some issues in the past with monitor delays regarding print media. But nothing major that could impact our organisation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Meltwater, we have peace of mind that we know what people are saying about our organisation (media monitoring).
A true game changing service for communicators
What do you like best about the product?
Meltwater offers an easy-to-use interface with all the tools you need to successfully, track monitor and distribute communications. It's an integral piece of my comms strategizing.
What do you dislike about the product?
Creating regular reports and updates on your own coverage can be a little challenging to do alone, but leveraging Meltwater's super accessible support teams and my own account manager make it much easier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Generating targeted lists of media, distriburte pitches and releases, track media coverage
Good platform, but prepare to wait for certain tech fixes
What do you like best about the product?
The way the platform is built is easy to use; they have added more features recently to the media monitoring and newsletter creating aspects that make it even faster an more convenient to do common steps.
What do you dislike about the product?
I recommend Meltwater, but do not give it a full 10 because their customer service can take a while. An email to their help desk will get a same day reply, but while some issues are fixed right away, others get handed over to their techs and there is where the wait begins.
Here's what I dislike: The delay in getting certain technical issues fixed;it will sometimes take multiple emails with the rep assigned to me when I open a service ticket before the issue is resolved. If that rep can take care of things, those get done right away, but items that they have to send to another department will take a long time and usually require reminders and follow up emails on my part. Fortunately this doesn't happen often because the platform does work well. But certain tweaks I need to make to our media monitoring can take a while.

A total game-changer
What do you like best about the product?
I love receiving daily digest reports about certain topics, companies, etc. because it essentially does the work of searching for me.
What do you dislike about the product?
Learning about the boolean operator search and its rules is the most difficult part.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Meltwater is helping me with seeing and understanding what is being discussed in the media and online and what that means for a brand.
Meltwater is an efficient and easy platform to use
What do you like best about the product?
I am able to search for new contacts by using keywords, location, and beats. It also keeps a running list of my current contacts and is easy to access. I also like how I can view each article if they are positive, negative, or netural.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to see a feature where you can look up recent stories going back to a longer time frame than just 90 days. I often am looking for articles from a few years back.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Meltwater is allowing me to generate new leads for local and national media journalists. This helps me to familiarize myself with contacts from various media relations.

Meltwater has an amazing database of contacts and its ease of use allows driven results
Overall a solid Social Management tool with a range of digital add ons

It is a one-stop-shop for a variety of needs.

Social community management tool is clunky.

It has been our solution for content calendaring, listening and analytics.
