Great product
What do you like best about the product?
Meltwater provides a range of services and support that make expand our communications team's capacity. The tools provide ready access to the data and analytics we need in order to take informed actions.
What do you dislike about the product?
The visual reporting could be a bit more compelling -- it's very minimalistic.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Meltwater helps us track customer and community awareness and sentiment -- it is one of the tools we use to see if our communications strategy and tactics are working.

What do you like best about the product?
User-friendly UI (best I have seen on the market), efficient and very useful chat for real-time support (with actual humans!), excellent resource library including training, incredible sales team (Ask for Marc in Toronto, down to earth, very knowledgeable, has a great approach to sales and is a very committed account rep, PLUS he is bilingual which for a company based in Montréal, is a great bonus!), media monitoring is super powerful and works in multiple languages (I can vouch for French!) They have become a trusted partner, not just a supplier
What do you dislike about the product?
Needs a more realistic social media preview - so you can really see what your post will look like in every channel) and the ability to run media monitoring for a more significant period - currently only works 12 months at a time, 24 months would be much more useful. Would also be great to be able to run with more ease the tagging functions, sometimes it can be a challenge to get the right page show up when we add the "@"
Also, posting videos is very challenging; some platforms require/allow a preview image and that is very tricky to do it natively in the platform. I normally post videos directly within each social media channel.

Easy to use, great visuals, like that it's easy to build charts and filters to get the information I need. Customer service is great.
What do you dislike about the product?
My biggest struggle is that the screen captures in the help are in French. It's difficult to figure out things on my own when I can't read the screens.

Tool is neat and straight forward but the Arabic sentiment is not accurate

It is a great social media listening tool, and it is super easy to use.

What do you like best about the product?
It is very simple. You can use the quick search or saved search in no time. The option of unlimited mentions is very suitable for marketing departments to explore content. The support is amazing by the account manager or the chat.
What do you dislike about the product?
The level of insights using AI or statistical is quite limited. The sentiment accuracy is low in Arabic. All users are either admins or viewers. Admin users are able to do anything with everything.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Answer all clients' requests to create BI reports. Search Twitter and blogs and forums to find the impact of any crisis or campaign. Measure brands' performance.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The level of support is superb. It will get things done quickly.
If you looking for in-depth AIs and dashboards. I won't recommend it.
The wildcard is search * is an amazing feature. It will be a great help, especially in the Arabic queries.

Great scheduling and Insight tool

The ease of using MW, scheduling and getting insights

Features such as best time to post on LI.

Getting insights to competitors, publications, scheduling posts
Great for PR, not so much for social media
What do you like best about the product?
I think this software is great for PR professionals to get a leg up in larger media and industry publications. It offers great information on journalists and keeps everything mostly up to date.
What do you dislike about the product?
If you're using this for social media purpose, it isn't as user friendly or intuitive as other social media platforms. It's also way more expensive. I'd prefer stronger scheduling and reporting tools.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This software has helped my team with acquiring leads on earned media with larger publications outside our region. It has also helped tremendously with our reporting efforts.
