Decent media monitoring platform
What do you like best about the product?
The media alerts and notifications you can set up. Get them emailed to you at a cadence that works for you. Separates out social mentions from press mentions.
What do you dislike about the product?
A little cumbersome to get started. Seems like pricing can be a little all over the place too. Another organization might pay more or less than the exact same package you have.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Better insight into who is talking about us and where. Ability to address mentions and trends quickly.
Meltwater for the win!
What do you like best about the product?
Meltwater's omnichannel listening is the best out there. To be able to search across ALL channels (including Reddit) for mentions is incredible. Additionally, being able to search by what folks are talking about is KEY! I can also chat with someone 24/7 for help, to add missing coverage AND reporter can be researched or have their info updated by request.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were "campaigns" like in other tools, but the Meltwater team (A+++ customer service) helped me with a workaround using explore searches/streams. Other than that, no dislikes!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solving pitching blindly, over-pitching, not pitching to the right folks. Also have been able to save time by asking customer service to add missing coverage. The fact that someone is there 24/7 to help is so important and they're all so well versed on the product, if I have a question or need to streamline one of my processes, anyone can help and they certainly have.

What do you like best about the product?
I find Meltwater's interface, language & algorithms to be extremely friendly & helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't found anything to dislike at the moment.

I can have a deeper understanding about the topics I'm interested in since I'm not relying on my sole perspective. Yes, I'm more productive & my performance has increased.

The announcement of the innovation and tool improvement is often much more promising than the actual output
The support service quality is not satisfying, for example, the quality control process for some projects is missing, information is not always transparent, etc

Showcasing the power of social listening data and empowering internal users with right tools according to their different levels of knowledge regarding social media intelligence
Powerful boolean building with great support
What do you like best about the product?
Meltwater has an assortment of operators that allow me to zoom in on the data I'm looking for with efficient and concise booleans. The addition of new sources and operators keeps the tool relevant and functional. The support is superb, both in responsiveness for troubleshooting and customer success.
What do you dislike about the product?
The focus on volume metrics and source type analysis leaves other research needs a bit high and dry. The post-processing for word clouds and sentiment is not very reliable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Research through social media listening, influencer identification, and trend analysis. It has allowed us to design certain solutions for our clients when it comes to measuring impact.

There are few offerings with this level of support out there. Definitely worth a try.

What do you like best about the product?
Meltwater is overall a straightforward tool to use for social listening. The dashboard function is very user-intuitive and has useful accompanying descriptions alongside the different widgets if you are less familiar with some of these, offering us the chance to incorporate new types of analysis into our reports. We often use the tool to quickly understand what people are saying about categories and/or topics and this is a great benefit.
What do you dislike about the product?
Occasionally the tool can be a bit slow and clunky to load. The shareable dashboards do look a little basic and we would usually spend time creating our own reports as a result rather than just setting up and sharing dashboards for this reason.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The tool allows us to quickly understand what is being said by members of the public in response to events or issues. We are able to update our clients at a fast pace as a result.

Meltwater gives opportunity to get information and data from social media platforms like Twitter and blogs and news websites that's very helpful for analysis the audience demographics and sentiment

Meltwater have to more develop for git data from Instagram comments like they do with Twitter thread also TikTok comments what is needed to analysis the content from GCC and Arab countries

We're new to Meltwater, but so far everything about it has been incredibly straightforward. We're using the program to take our social listening to new heights!

Nothing yet - still learning the program, but either way can't see myself having difficulty with any of it!
