Great intuitive platform, easy to use, with extraordinary depths of insight available

not much missing, sometimes hard to seperate the wheat from the chaff - false noise can be a problem

Great media monitoring platform
What do you like best about the product?
The automated daily updates on media hits for our keywords are now essential to my routine. We used to spend hours combing social media to ensure all earned and unearned media hits were seen and responded to (when appropriate). Now it's as simple as scrolling through an email in the morning and delegating tasks between our team.
What do you dislike about the product?
It did take quite a bit of onboarding before I felt entirely comfortable playing around on the platform. Our account manager was great and easy to learn from, but without her guidance, I struggled through the initial introductory tutorial.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have solved the issue of any social media and print media mentions falling through the cracks. We used to miss the occasional untagged mention, and Meltwater closes all gaps. No more blindspots.
Professional and valuable outputs
What do you like best about the product?
Linkfluence team has been very professional since the first contact with them. We ran a social listening study with them and they were really supportive and added value during the whole process. The outputs were quite above the expectations in terms of strategic thinking and reccomendations.
What do you dislike about the product?
The type of outputs were not exactly what we were expecting, but for further social listening studies we now are more aware on what to expect from this kind of research.

What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful part is the huge amount of data you can get for every search. Also, it is handy and easy to gain valuable inputs. It is the best for twitter and news and blogs.
What do you dislike about the product?
The fact that there is very little data coming from sources such as Facebook or Instagram makes it a bit problematic for brands that focus on these two social networks. This could be a problem for some brands or markets

It is possible to learn about how the audience perceives your brand. Also, it is advantageous to understand what the audience thinks about specific topics, concepts, and conversations.
Timely information at your fingertips, great customer service
What do you like best about the product?
I'm able to see who's writing about relevant topics and easily access contact information. One of the best parts about Meltwater is our customer service rep. He's always highly responsive and knowledgeable.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI is less intuitive than some other products, but they're working on it and it's improving.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I rely on Meltwater to identify PR opportunities and place a relevant message in front of the right journalists.
Meltwater provides us with an exceptional forum for making our content available to a wide audience.

The daily updates keep my whole team abreast of corporate mentions in traditional and social channels, which provides greater visibility into the reach of our work and allows our team to actively engage in our content and news about our company.

Meltwater has so many service-related options that at times it's difficult to avail ourselves of all the services they offer.

Meltwater is an exceptional platform for getting our news into the right hands and keeping our internal team engaged.
Customer and Team Service
What do you like best about the product?
We recently switched from Cision to Meltwater, and we have had a lot more luck reaching someone from Meltwater when there are questions. Our AM responds in an extremely timely response, which really makes our team feel heard and respected.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I dislike is something that's not really fixable... we wanted to stick with PR Newswire but use Meltwater monitoring service, so we have contracts with both Meltwater and PR Newswire/Cision
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're struggling a bit with the newsletter because on Cision we could put screenshots in (to show data) and we cannot on Meltwater.

The Morning report is very helpful. Gives you a quick snapshot.

The lack of training. There's so much more that I need to know
