What do you like best about the product?
The platform is easy to navigate and user friendly. What's more its online/chat assistance has been a major assistance with all navigation and search requirements.
What do you dislike about the product?
The platform currently is unable to "crawl" for mention of our entity on certain online publications. If we do not keep track of the publication of the content in order to load the search manually, it might be missed. However, the add content option is a major plus in this regard as the data is not unattainable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to track our national/local competitors and now we are able to conduct international competitor benchmarking. Meltwater has assisted us in gathering the data to see how we are comparing to our international convention peers which has been of great use.

Sometimes the operating system is laggy.

There was nothing I found useful about this tool. There are many other alternatives out there that do the same for less.

Bad business practices. Deliberately hide termination policies and bad client services.

Take into consideration your market. If your product or service is very sharing on social media, it will be beneficial for you. Otherwise, not too much.

Comprehensive database of editors, journalists, reporters, and producers in markets across the U.S.
What do you dislike about the product?
Occasionally, the email addresses that are provided are general In Box addresses, and not addresses for specific human recipients.

No major fatal flaw problems. Benefits - I can organize and contact highly targeted lists of recipients in minutes.

Gaps in data collection for unclear reasons / lack of transparency of limitations ex missing mentions of key influencers (paid partnerships)

We liked the access the platform provided us to consumer sentiment expressed via social media, on a range of topic areas

There were perhaps a limited number of data points for some of the topic areas we wanted to gain more information about satisfaction

The main problem is trying to understand more about whether there is high / low satisfaction and sentiment of consumers in certain parts of the economy
