Nice for Hashtag Search
What do you like best about the product?
I think the reporting options are particularly great.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish one could go deeper into the search. For example, to know how often a hashtag was used in a certain period of time.

I get a faster evaluation of the social media channels for the client.

We can acquire complete and objectif data set to reflect online users' opinion on social issues and measure the importance of social buzz;
the interface is quite ergonomic which allows users to get hands on quickly

the fact that while doing research in wine industry, the data set that we paid for doesn't allow us to explorer further/experimential social media territory

Ability to see publicity value for earned media spots.

Compiling reports could be easier. You have to manually add columns together and total them manually.

It's nice to spot places our name is appearing that we may not know about.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It doesn't offer broadcast monitoring – you will need another product for that.
Useful but interface could do some cosmetic lift

Tracking of all types of posts whether paid or earned or owned, which other tools are unable to do. Can work more if able to track dark posts as well

Just the interface, looks old-school and some interactions/results are hard to find unless already an experienced user

Ease of use and workspaces useful to have different views. Linkfluence academy helpful to learn how to use the platform.

I need to be able to use a bit more to have the proper feedback for this matter.

The fact it's quick to use and we don't need to wait for quarterly updates

For some markets where english is not the main language it would be useful to have translation

Join of the training used to understand how to use it from the beggining. Playing around with a few settings then help to understand the information you can get
I used this tool in agency, it's very good for ORM & provide real time analysis , tweets and alerts

It's very helpful in making reports as ORM . You can compare you reports on the basis of monthly, quarterly or halfyerly.

It provide limited insights , also graphs should be in more express way

Basically I used for ORM purpose so I was used for all the social platforms. It's good for twitter you can find out which comments is positive or negative . Plus the name of author.

Always buy whole version of meltwater.
