Overall positive experience - used for influencer marketing
What do you like best about the product?
Influencer outreach becomes that much easier - able to search influencer by skills & interests I.e. fashion, lifestyle, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
Interface can be confusing at times. Also had issues with data not being readily available e.g. influencers info (engagement rate, etc.)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Able to organize influencer campaigns - keep all info in one place rather than relying on many different excel sheets
Meltwater is a useful tool for capturing coverage easily and effectively.
What do you like best about the product?
I was able to capture coverage that other services could not find.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wasn't able to find all coverage and still required the use of other monitoring services.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Meltwater as a secondary method to capture coverage that was otherwise missed by other services. It has the capability of finding more specific content than other services have.
Don't Bother with Subscribing with this Poor Company/Product
What do you like best about the product?
Nothing. It's not very good at what they say it will do. Best to look elsewhere.
What do you dislike about the product?
Their customer service is abysmal. Worse than their product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
None. It's been a drain on my budget. I don't even want to explore other similar companies, this experience has been so awful.
Excellent Brand Monitoring Tool
What do you like best about the product?
We used Meltwater for one of our major client for Brand Monitoring and Social Listening and we were amazed to see the results. It helped us to monitor everything on a single platform and helped us to channelize our marketing strategy.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am looking forward to see more customization options in the future.

We've been using it in this office for about years now, and I used them previously at another job, as well. They're very responsive when you need help with something. I like the tool. It's intuitive and does just about everything we'd want it to. I do think their sales tactics were a little heavy-handed sometimes, putting deadlines on offers and whatnot, but when I talked to them about it, they lightened up a lot.

Not unique to Meltwater but limitations on access to certain platforms reduce its power. Can be a time consuming process to setup and monitor.

Good tool for all basic social listening capabilities
What do you like best about the product?
The best part is the customer service. I am a power user of MW, and the team is so open to take feedback and add essential functionalities to the tool, such as the ability to get a random sample. The tool also helps with all basic social listening capabilities like most discussed terms, most engaged discussions, most re-tweeted tweets, top authors by post and authority, etc. There is also an option to correct the machine-coded sentiments.
What do you dislike about the product?
The query building is not very intuitive. It does not highlight the place where the possible error could be. It only shows what error it is, like missing quotes or parenthesis. It will be beneficial if it highlights where, in the long query, the mismatch in quotes and parenthesis starts. The random sampling capability will be enhanced if selecting a sample size based on a percentage of data or number is available. It will be more helpful as not everyone wants a random sample of 20k. A few changes in the tool will go a long way to improve the user experience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use this tool for social listening to unearth and identify the most discusses topics, top stories, top authors, and sentiment analysis. I export the data, slice and dice it to analyze it, and curate actionable insights for my stakeholders. I use various ML algorithms on the export to get different cuts of analysis. It has enabled me to innovate and think out of the box on how to tell a solid data-driven story. There is no limit on the query so it helps me find more relevant and clean data sample saving time on cleaning the data.

Budget-friendly, easy to use, and a good for beginners who are starting with social listening

What do you like best about the product?
User-Friendly Explore Section wherein one can create a query & start acting on the same. Also the section has all the needful filters there itself so that we can reduce the noise & increase accuracy.
What do you dislike about the product?
While creating a dashboard (within the widgets), when we use the settings/filters the visualizations can be more presentable & customized.

What do you like best about the product?
Meltwater is an exhaustive tool which captures news, articles, blogs, social media as well as off the Wall mentions of any business/brand. Also, if any positive or negative news is triggered, one can know immediately by using Meltwater.
What do you dislike about the product?
Basically I do not dislike anything about Meltwater. Its the best social listening tool in its price range, which suffice major objectives. Also it will be helpful if it includes certain other features in future like knowing online traffic insights, sources of traffic etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am basically finding the volume of tweets, news , articles for a particular hashtag which goes trending . I also download the data for my reference and for further analysis.
