What do you like best about the product?
I love Meltwater and using the Boolean coding because I am able to narrow down results to exactly what we need.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike nothing about Meltwater! It is a good product for our school district communications team.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We catch negative things within the media before they become a problem.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Learn to use the Boolean code for more options to narrow your search results.

What do you like best about the product?
Meltwater is really easy to use and their representatives are attentive to your needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes contains glitches when things won't send, not even the tests. We've experienced that a few a times. Sometimes it's just a lull.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When system is overloaded, there can be a lull in things actually getting sent out. We have been able to send releases out and use their analytics to see how folks are interfacing with the material.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Try it out, make sure you consult with their representatives. It's been great for us here.

What do you like best about the product?
Meltwater does a wonderful job collecting brand mentions across news, television (with the TVEyes add-on) and social media.
What do you dislike about the product?
Pricing can be misleading when given the initial quote versus when you're ready to sign the dotted line. Make sure the terms and conditions of your contract are laid out in black and white and that your expectations are clear for what you expect to be included.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Meltwater has simplified our media tracking and social listening, however, competitive brands offer similar services that may fit your needs better.

Great Media Tracking & Distribution Tool

What do you like best about the product?
The customer service team at Meltwater is excellent. Any time I've had a question or needed help navigating the platform they've been super helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes moving through the platform isn't as intuitive as other tools I've used in the past, but I believe that is just a matter of becoming accustomed to Meltwater over time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It assists greatly in showing at budgeting time the benefit of a robust marketing and communications department.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This is an excellent tool to consider for ease of media monitoring, distribution and tracking.

What do you like best about the product?
Meltwater has surpassed my expectations in all manners of speaking! It has an easy to use interface, support and control panel.

There's not much to dislike, other than if I were to nitpick about the colours.

What do you like best about the product?
I love Likealyzer by Meltwater, the tools for benchmarking and optimizing Facebook pages. Meltwater is perfect for marketing and its approach is really revolutionary. Meltwater also uses AI, decoding billions of digital documents in real time and I know no other companies capable of such accomplishments. Meltwater also provide some cool free services and offers demo. Their approach is simply outstanding.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not really a dislike but more likely a suggestion: reselling opportunities.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Meltwater helped us boost our marketing for the past 6 months.

What do you like best about the product?
Meltwater's reporting functionality makes it easy to share media intelligence internally as well as access an easy-to-view snapshot of daily mentions, etc. It's media database is also helpful for new contacts and sources.
What do you dislike about the product?
The media database usability could be better.

Meltwater allows my business to easily create send and track communications to reporters.

No longer spinning my wheels

What do you like best about the product?
I'm a one-woman shop in my small non-profit and I was spinning my wheels every time I attempted to get media coverage. My excel spreadsheets were always out of date, my press releases took hours to send individually to journalists or were ignored if sent en masse. After just one month of using the Meltwater platform, I've already had coverage by three media outlets! It's so simple to send personalized releases or pitches without spending hours on emails and it's so simple to reach the right people the first time.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far, nothing. I'm only about a month into using the platform and have been really happy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our small non-profit is finally getting media coverage and I'm saving literally hours of my time. I also found several pieces of news coverage through the searches that I wouldn't have previously found via Google alert.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Excellent customer service and support! Flexible pricing packages - especially for smaller non-profits and especially compared to their competitors.
