Instagram monitoring needs improvement
What do you like best about the product?
The tool is helpful for tracking social media content.
What do you dislike about the product?
It doesn't do a very good job of tracking Instagram content. Content where LACOSTE is tagged often does not show up in the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Social media monitoring. We are finding content that we may have missed through manual monitoring.
Good Data Aggregator - Otherwise restrictive
What do you like best about the product?
As a way to call multiple channel APIs with a single boolean query; it's a fairly useful piece of kit
What do you dislike about the product?
It's strength is it's weakness. It isn't reflective of how each of the APIs work.
Also, all the analytic functions - particularly sentiment - are fairly terrible. A simple positive, negative, neutral approach doesn't cut it anymore

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As an aggregator - it's great. It allows us to scrape data for deeper NLP analysis and for influencer monitoring, it is very useful
Radarly has been a really sueful tool for social media montoring of my development projects

The ability to track multiple projects at a time, and to easily generate reports

Its limitations around pay-walls, and private facebook groups

Incredible stats, with a UI that’s trying to make it simple
What do you like best about the product?
The depth of information and data that we can analyse across platforms.
What do you dislike about the product?
The complexity of the UI, there’s so much detail available but the UI is fairly simple for small tasks but a little confusing for bigger tasks.

The ability to provide our clients with and insight into the trends repeating to what we’re pitching.

You’ll need some time to get up to speed with everything it offers

the new search feature, allowing us to very quickly capture a better sense of what communities stand for regarding specific topics, events, emotions, brands

the limits of data we can grab in our package; the fact we can only go back in time limited to 1 year of data

Recommendations to others considering the product:
A one-stop hub to begin social media exploration; huge scalability of features which also requires fairly senior analysts with a strong strategic planning culture, in order to better match what the tool can provide and what qualitative finetuning can achieve
Accompaniment by Chloé excellent. Platform efficient and relatively up to date.

Sending press releases from the platform is relatively more complicated.

Ease of use, friendly customer service, easily understandable analytics.

There really isn't anything that I dislike about this platform.

We use Meltwater for our year end reports and daily alerts. Being alerted in real-time to news that either help or hinder my organization's brand is imperative.
Must-have tool for any marketer
What do you like best about the product?
The tool is very intuitive, and you're ready to start using it immediately, even before training. I'm able to create reports easily as well.
In Engage, I love the social calendar, where I am able to see all my profiles in one go, as well as the ability to duplicate any posts quickly and easily. Another favourite is being able to schedule a post multiple times in a single go.

I wish there were more configurations available in the charts (as well as formatting legends, titles, colours, etc).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automation is key! The ability to monitor all pages (which are managed by other team members) is really helpful. Also the ability to task others with particular posts is great.

It is easy to use and makes your life easier!
Overall I am pleased with the various services Meltwater offers.

The Newsletter and reporting are very effective and easy to use.

There could be more effective mobile options and the price is high.

Reporting, showing others how Binghamton is in the news on a regular basis.

What do you like best about the product?
Since we had a new customer representative, Prince, the customer service has become much better. Replies are more immediate and resolved. Their new social listening aspect on the platform is also very helpful for the accounts we have that require this feature.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not all media placements are captured via Meltwater. We've had to send the publication to MW for them to find.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
MW helps to attempt capture media placements that Google Alerts or Talkwalker doesn't capture.
