Recommendations to others considering the product:
Good tool for social listening and monitoring. off late we are getting more issues. Customer service is fine. If the issue is related to query setting or downloading, service is normally fast, else it normally takes more time to resolve. Overall the tool is good for social listening and the availability of historical data is a good feature.

Great UI and concept. Very powerful database and value.

What do you dislike about the product?
I didn't find customer service to be as comprehensive as I would have liked.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The best benefit is the specificity of the searches. Using Boolean, the user is able to narrow down searches and get in-depth analysis of news coverage and audiences.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would look at whether or not your team would benefit from narrowing down your keywords+searches. If so (i.e. if you need to find coverage other than your press releases, target specific news beats, etc) pick Meltwater. If not, there is probably something more bare bones and cheaper out there that would fit your needs.
Handy Tool to Have Access To
