What do you like best about the product?
I use MeltWater on a daily basis for digital and media monitoring, at global level. Once the requests are set up, I receive emails every morning, it's really user friendly.
What do you dislike about the product?
It could look more user friendly than it looks now
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Meltwater aggregates all mentions of our brand for quick and efficient daily monitoring. I save an incredible amount of time every day in research. I also save a lot of time on reporting.

Very powerful media databasefor key markets - North America, UK, mainland Europe; customisable newsletter functionality; ability to code own press release templates

Pricing is definitely at the upper-end of the scale, media database not good when it comes to Asian markets.

Finding journalists in key areas to target; ease of distribution and segmentation for press releases and readership; analytics of media performance

What do you like best about the product?
Meltwater has been super easy to use. It's very user-friendly and quick to find what feature I'm looking to use. I use it almost every day for marketing and communications purposes; it's helped with my day-to-day work. I really like the scheduling feature on Meltwater, which allows you to plan ahead and choose the ideal time to post based on the activity on your page. Marketing is all about getting the most eyes on your post, so that feature is great, and Meltwater really helps with that.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to see even more analytics options and deeper integrations with the current partners.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Meltwater helps the multiple teams in the marketing, communications, media, and customer service departments work together since we can now find everything in one place. With so many teams working in marketing and communications efforts, it quickly becomes complicated. We now don't need to worry about task tracking and duplicating work since we can see what's being worked on and what's been done in real time on Meltwater. It has made us much more efficient and saved us a lot of time as a team.

What do you like best about the product?
Meltwater has helped us immensley in creating daily media round ups for our company. It's super simple to create the searches and find daily relevant news based on key words to keep up to date on the industry and how far our reach of in media goes. We also use it to create monthly social media reports and can easily see who our audience it and what content is perfoming the best. Our representive at Meltwater is super helpful any time we have questions.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's a bit of a learning curve in finding where everything is. Such as the social media analytics being in a seperate place to other analytics.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Because our company covers country-wide it can be tough to find what media outlets are talking about us or relevant issues to our members. Meltwater makes it super easy to find all those articles based on keywords and we can keep up to date on what's happening in the industry.

What do you like best about the product?
Can quickly collate media mentions from all over the world (which we would be unable to find manually).
Tagging them is simple, then being able to easily download to transform in other software.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's a little bit slow.
Sometimes when downloading from explore, as a csv, it downloads as a txt file instead.
Sometimes the same media outlets have different names.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gauging the success of our released products in terms of media interest.

What do you like best about the product?
As a Senior Business Solution Consultant I find Meltwater has been an incredible tool for media monitoring and analytics needs. The platform's intuitive interface and robust features make it a go-to tool for tracking media mentions, analyzing trends, and getting insights through customizable dashboards to focus on relevant KPIs.
The AI-Search Assistant helps a lot when it comes to create or refine searches, also the AI-Powered Insights help to get more accurate results like mentions or sentiment among other relevant KPIs. Additionally, the Engage portion helps a lot when it comes to integrating Social Media Management all in one place, even when it comes to moderate conversations in real time with the community.
In general, I highly recommend Meltwater for organizations to empower data-driven decision-making or to manage social media channels.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel the user experience is great, and Meltwater Product Team is always improving the platform every month, sharing great updates and enhancements in the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The regular product updates, published on their Product Updates page, demostrate the company's commitment to innovation and staying ahead of industry needs.

What do you like best about the product?
The tracking of chatters about the brand/topics/hashtags that would be useful to know in terms of brand perception from the public and what topics are highly mentioned, and the measure of stats under Engage.
What do you dislike about the product?
-Boost function on the platform does not seem to help. Still need to go to native platform to adjust campaign settings before able to boost the post. Counter productive process for boost on the Meltwater platform.

-Some missing stats on Measure - i.e. average reach, average min. viewed, followers gained per post. Hopefully, MW is able to track paid performance for platforms like Instagram, LinkedIn and Youtube too, not just for Facebook, and to include stats such as CPM, cost per click, etc.

-Can possibly include a local benchmark feature to add in our dashboard under Measure for our reference - i.e. benchmark for average min. viewed locally or to define what is good engagement rate for each platform, etc.
