I found it very intuitive and complete for a complete Influencer Marketing experience.
What do you like best about the product?
Influencer analysis is very complete, the fact that you can associate manually every social account for the same profile is amazing.
Also real time campaign tracking is very helpful.
Also real time campaign tracking is very helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think that the discovery part was one, if any, of the lowest aspects as filters or order by criteria are not that easy to manage.
Improvements, maybe around this same topic.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The fact that you have all in one service platform is great.
Outreach, profile association, briefing, payment, and live performance are some of the greats that benefit my daily work.

A few useful features, but overall a limited and ineffective product for PR
What do you like best about the product?
Coverage reports: Meltwater makes it easy to pull coverage reports, although they are occasionally incomplete.
Journalist search: Searching for journalists is simple, but their profiles are often outdated, requiring additional research outside the platform.
Customer service flexibility: The customer service team displayed some flexibility when the influencer service autorenewed without our consent, allowing us to swap the influencer program for a different one.
Media list import/export: Meltwater, like many other platforms, allows users to import and export media lists.

What do you dislike about the product?
Monitoring service: Meltwater's monitoring service does not effectively track coverage, often resulting in missed coverage.
Journalist profiles: Profiles are rarely updated with recent coverage, bios, or accurate contact information.
Customer service responsiveness: The customer service team is not very responsive, making it difficult to schedule time for training or discussion.
Limited personalization: There is no option to personalize messages to journalists in a mass pitch, making the platform less effective for media relations.
Auto-renewal without warning: We intended to cancel the service this year, but we were not given any warnings regarding auto-renewal, which has led to being committed to another year of the platform.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Meltwater is solving problems such as generating coverage reports and facilitating journalist searches, which can provide a starting point for PR professionals. However, ultimately, Meltwater is not very useful to me because the platform's limitations require extensive outside research to supplement the minimal assistance it offers.
Very interesting tool to know the reach of our organization in the media.
What do you like best about the product?
We have excellent service! There is also a wide range of features and possibilities. The platform meets regular needs as well as specific and occasional needs!
What do you dislike about the product?
It is more difficult to design the research independently, we must go through a representative to ensure we achieve our goals. I would like to be able to set them up myself.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Reports allow us to have an overview of our reach rather than exporting by platform. This also allows us to see the extent of our communication initiatives.
Nothing short but excellent :)
What do you like best about the product?
It gives myself as sponsorship manager the ability to screen social media to ensure that we make the most informed decision possible.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not all accounts are linked together example: Youtube to an Instagram acc. This is on the searching side - I know you can add it at a later stage once the person has registered.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sifting through the fake accounts.
Great experience so far
What do you like best about the product?
the analysis, how when you hover over something you don't know it will explain it to you. An example of this is when i hover over the social media influence level and it describes what the results mean. I use this all the time to analyze authors and potential influencers to work with. I also like the function of keeping track of what the influencers are posting.
What do you dislike about the product?
That it is only tied to one email, wish that more users could be under an account without an extra cost so I could download a report and not have to wait for my manager to send me the report.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
analyzing iinfluencers social platforms, how often they are posting, their influence, and their audience. I still look at an influencers page organically to get a feel, this just gives good statistics to go along with my gut feelings.
Klear has a lot of capabilities but I think the search is limiting
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about Klear is being able to view the profiles of influencers, you can see what their actual reach is, their target demo, etc., I find that information really helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think that the search could be better, a lot of times it just pulls up completely irrelevant influencers -- I almost wish that it pulled influencers that use a term repeatedly so that you know that it is in line with their content. I do like Klear, but honestly sometimes I have an easier time finding people using the same search terms on Instagram.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Like I mentioned before, I think once you know the influencer, it's helpful, but not as much for discoverability in my honest opinion.
Delivering unrivalled campaign performance and support
What do you like best about the product?
I love working with Meltwater, their customer service is second to none and their quick response times to my queries make all the difference. I appreciate the fact that we can set up a Zoom meeting at any time to walk us through how their platform works or discuss ways to modify our data sets. The simple design of the website makes it very easy to navigate, which I find very helpful when looking for something specific within our media analytics information. With this level of customisation and all the features available, Meltwater easily stands out from other solutions in its class as an excellent choice for collecting large amounts of data quickly and efficiently.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not like the lack of flexibility available when using Meltwater. The 'beat' filter provides a useful insight, allowing users to narrow down potential reporters interested in their content, but this system does not provide any further granularity to filter individual topics or areas within these beats. As a result, it fails to make the most of the user's creativity and ability to tailor search results more closely related to topical relevance.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Meltwater, I was able to analyse how effective our campaigns were so that we could make any necessary changes to maximise results.
Take advantage of all the helpful training, it's worth it!
What do you like best about the product?
It's terrific having all of our social channels and profiles in one place! Robust reporting capabilities and access to a wide network of journalists puts PR in our pocket.
What do you dislike about the product?
Can be a bit confusing in the beginning, particularly when it comes to setting up searches. But take your time and take advantage of the training you can receive and it will be worth it!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Coordination between different social platforms can be a nightmare. Meltwater makes it easy for us, and gives us lots of extra monitoring and reporting tools to boot.
Meltwater is the most workable and a frustrating over priced field of products
What do you like best about the product?
We don't really like anything about Meltwater it's essentially a glorified version of google Alerts that is more tailored to media and public relations, we've concluded that we need to have some thing like it, and Meltwater fits what we do better than the competition, but it doesn't fit what we do in the regulatory arena of Washington DC all that well.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have set up some of their daily newsletters, which are essentially Google alerts on steroids, and mysteriously they can't provide us with stats on who is reading the newsletters that even approach the quality of what we get from the much less expensive MailChimp. When you ask them to make a change to the software or add a feature, they just tell you that they have flagged it for their engineering team, but nothing ever gets done. And this hasn't been only with a request for new features even when we had an actual problem with one of our searches, we asked for it to be fixed for nine months, and until our contract was up for renewal, they didn't pay any attention to us.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Their contact database is OK. It isn't as granular as what we need to reach the correct reporters for our interest but it's OK.
There News search systems are better than Google and someone more customizable but I really don't think they're worth over $20,000 per year, but we have no choice

Meltwater can be a life-saver!
What do you like best about the product?
I think it's important to sit down and dedicate time to learning how the site works. I definitely think Meltwater Academy is a great way of doing so. You learn how certain functions work by taking tests and practicing. You also get Meltwater certificates that can be added to your Linkedin if you pass the courses.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think it took me a while to understand Meltwater's full capacity. I think maybe the language that's used on the site confused me, but I learned through the Meltwater academy that it can actually be very simple.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Meltwater is helping us save a ton of time on media monitoring and finding reporter contact information.
