What do you like best about the product?
Quick access to competitor's information.
What do you dislike about the product?
At first, the platform looked/felt overwhelming, but after taking time to review and watch YouTube videos, it is simple to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Competitor and industry keyword analysis
Easy to use, intuitive, great service from an actual human is wonderful who you have access to

The interface is easy to use and fantastic to navigate.
What do you dislike about the product?
That it does not always catch every piece of coverage, though it catches most of it
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Finding editors that have covered our brand in key geographical locations we have not had a presence before so we can build a relationship with them.
Good Service/Good Product
What do you like best about the product?
Meltwater enables me to stay on top of what's being said about my company, my industry, and my executives. Best of all, I can measure those hits.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can sometimes be difficult master. There is good support though, so it just takes time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I need to know what's being said across traditional, online and social media so that i can focus on trends and measuring results.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that we can automate analytics to send to us each month.
What do you dislike about the product?
We don't always get relevant news stories that relate to our council.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Meltwater gives me one place to schedule all my social media through. It also gives me one place to view all our analytics and our media mentions.
Customer Service is key
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate that when I have urgent requests, the team does whatever is needed to accomplish the task. I trust that if I have a problem, they will work with me until a proper solution is found
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't found anything at this point that is negative. That being said, I have a great team who understands my goals and works with me to achieve them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Meltwater is a great tool to get updates on the effectiveness of PR campaigns quickly. We love that it can proactively send reports, or we can reactively search for specific keywords, competitors, or partners.
Good tool but need to continue to practice using it
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ability to look/search for information plus, I like that information can be pushed out to me, making my job easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
The main issue, which is not a dislike per se, is that you have to use the tool every day, or you lose your ability to become proficient at it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Finding information on the subjects I am most interested in.
Comprehensive tool for a variety of uses
What do you like best about the product?
The analytics are easy to access, organize, and enables us to report out to our stakeholders easily.
What do you dislike about the product?
We wish Meltwater was a larger all-in-one social tool we could use to manage our channels day-to-day, inbox, publishing, LinkTrees, etc. We also can't monitor ad performance through Meltwater.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
PR Analytics is the largest benefit. It's helpful to get direct contacts through the tool for press outreach.
Decent Market Research System, some information not kept updated
What do you like best about the product?
Meltwater's most useful feature (for me) is its media list functions, finding relevant journalists and their contact information.
What do you dislike about the product?
Based on my comparisons with personal research as well as with competitors (like MuckRack), Meltwater's journalist database is not as current or expansive as it could be. Sometimes, I feel like I have to continually go off-site in order to verify information or search since Metlwater could not satisfy my request.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Meltwater allows me to find some journalists based on finite criteria. For research and media tasks that are very niche, this can be useful at times.

The audience metrics are really interesting.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I get confused between tabs and sections.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Meltwater, my media monitoring work gets easier and faster. I lose less time looking at different outlets' metrics across other websites -- Meltwater helps me save time!
Meltwater provides solutions for my organization's media needs
What do you like best about the product?
The interface and user experience is very easy to navigate and use. I primarily use Meltwater for its media monitoring capabilities, which I find accurate. I also recently started using Meltwater for a journalist database and I am enjoying the functions.
What do you dislike about the product?
Meltwater almost has too many filters and options when using the media monitoring function, and I sometimes don't use the correct filters to find what I am looking for. I have taken additional trainings to try to teach myself how to best use it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows me to see all of our media hits in one place, and Meltwater sends me a daily email with hits from the past 24 hours. This enables me to stay on top of who is talking about my organization without having to use Google search or other investigative methods.
