Seamless Content Organization for Teams
What do you like best about the product?
I like how I can pin the folders and also take it offline. When I am on the move and want to continue working, it makes things so much easier for myself. Also, when I am working on a project, I can pin it to my sidebar, meaning I have quick easy access. I think it's a great safe storage alternative to Google Drive. The initial setup of LucidLink for my team was fairly easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it would take my files offline in my project even though they were online. Occasionally, it logs me out every time I turn my computer off, which is a little annoying.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
LucidLink stores all files in one location, making it easy for me and my colleagues to access and edit projects. It allows me to pin folders for quick access and work offline, which is ideal for managing podcast content.
Effortless Setup and User-Friendly Storage

Great for Visualizing and Collaborating on Complex Processes
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ability to outline complex processes or theory's that require brainstorming, collaboration and then lastly... Lucidlink to help visualize how the process / program / or steps would interlink.
What do you dislike about the product?
Navigation for large project outlines. I wish there was a way to better navigate or scroll without having to find the TINY scroll bar.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having to purchase and maintain dry erase boards. Also, alleviates the need to take pic of the board as its all stored.
The Best file space platform for Collaboration and ease of access
What do you like best about the product?
The wide range of specialized applications available within the Platform is impressive. Its user-friendly design and rapid deployment make it highly practical for collaborative teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
Having the ability to back up the platform directly to the "cloud" would be extremely useful. This option would make managing backups much more convenient.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use the platform both for my own business and in my role as a consultant assisting others. The capability to rapidly set up a filespace and share it with users anywhere is extremely valuable to me. As a business owner, I appreciate having all my data centralized in one place under my control. However, in my view, the most impressive feature is how well the platform supports AEC Industry applications, allowing them to function seamlessly within the system.
Seamless File Streaming for Remote Teams
What do you like best about the product?
I use LucidLink mainly for accessing and collaborating on large files without downloading them locally. It helps me work with media and project files in real time, especially when working with remote teams. The ability to stream files on demand saves storage space and improves workflow efficiency. What I like most about LucidLink is how fast and seamless it feels when working with large files, almost like they’re stored locally. I also enjoy how stable and reliable LucidLink is during daily use, even with heavy files. The simple setup and clean interface make it easy to get started without much learning. It works especially well for remote work, keeping everything accessible and up to date without manual effort. The initial setup of LucidLink was very easy and straightforward. It didn’t take much time to configure, and the steps were clear even for first-time users. I was able to start accessing and working with files almost immediately.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing that could be improved is the pricing, which can feel a bit high for smaller teams or individual users. Occasionally, performance can depend heavily on internet speed, which isn’t always ideal. I also think more advanced user-level controls and clearer usage insights would be helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use LucidLink to access and collaborate on large files without downloading them locally, solving slow file transfers and storage limitations. It saves storage space and improves workflow efficiency by streaming files on demand.
Game-Changer for Secure, Large File Collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
I love how LucidLink makes collaboration on huge files super smooth with its instant file access. There's no waiting for downloads/uploads, so I can work on files like they're local. The real-time co-editing is perfect for teams working on big projects, whether it's video editing or design, and it makes teamwork seamless, even with folks in different locations. The seamless integrations with tools like Adobe Premiere and DaVinci Resolve are a huge plus, allowing me to work within my favorite tools without hassle. It's like having a super-fast, secure local drive for the whole team.
What do you dislike about the product?
LucidLink's awesome, but a couple things could be better: - *Pricing for small teams*: Can get pricey for smaller groups or startups. - *Mobile app*: Some users want a more robust mobile experience. - *Offline access*: Would love better offline file access/editing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
LucidLink solves slow and insecure file sharing, enabling instant access without downloads, real-time collaboration on large files, and secure data protection with zero-knowledge encryption.
A capable assistant for real-time collaboration and file management
What do you like best about the product?
I like LucidLink's real-time file access and collaboration features. It optimizes teamwork, allowing team members to access and edit files in real-time from the same file space, with changes displayed instantly, avoiding version confusion. LucidLink eliminates the barriers of geographical distance, enabling team members from around the world to collaborate quickly and securely, as if they were on a local network. The file locking feature prevents overwriting edits, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of files during multi-person collaboration. It also deeply integrates with video editing software like Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects, providing powerful real-time collaboration capabilities, allowing users to store and edit materials directly in the LucidLink file space, avoiding editing conflicts. Additionally, LucidLink's setup process is very simple for ordinary individuals or small teams, offering compatible installation packages for multiple mainstream systems, and the user interface is intuitive with a low learning curve. The basic setup is very convenient, and even without professional IT personnel, it can be quickly completed and put into use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Frequent update prompts: LucidLink requires regular updates, and each time the drive is loaded, it may prompt for an update installation, which can disrupt workflow and affect work continuity. Complex setup for third-party vendors: The setup process for integrating third-party vendors into the system can be complex and time-consuming, which may be inconvenient for teams that need to quickly deploy related services. Network adaptability needs improvement: In low-bandwidth network environments, LucidLink's performance is poor, potentially resulting in slow file access speeds. In today's context where remote work is common, this could affect employee productivity. High cost: LucidLink charges based on the number of users and the amount of stored data, which can be expensive for users handling large datasets. Additionally, depending on the cloud service provider, users may also incur additional egress fees, increasing the cost of use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use LucidLink to achieve remote access to cloud file servers, effectively reducing additional equipment costs; it supports direct cloud backup without the need for local storage. Additionally, it optimizes team collaboration by providing real-time file access and collaboration, but there are issues with frequent updates and poor network adaptability.

Effortless Data Sharing, But Slows Down My Laptop
What do you like best about the product?
Lucid makes easier to upload any data. Since I started using it, I just have to share link with coligues. Lucid work as bridge between data center and laptop so I just brought folder shortcut on desktop. That is even easier. Once I laptop connected to Lucid, I just need to copy and past folder. People from here also helped to understand this. With that I have to say that Lucid needs no heavy understanding to learn. It is easier that i thought. I use it almost everyday because of my job profile.
What do you dislike about the product?
After installed Lucid in my laptp it made my machine little bit slow and sometimes hang.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before using this I have to share data with many people but since started using. I just upload everything in single folder and share link with everyone.
Simple, Fast Implementation. Perfect for Remote and Robust Teams
What do you like best about the product?
Simple and fast implementation for remote and robust teams. Flexible integration. Customer support is reliable.
What do you dislike about the product?
One drawback is the absence of a robust web app for browsing the file system directly in a web browser. On several occasions, sync issues did not resolve automatically, and we had to manually clean up duplicate files. While this wasn't a major problem, it was definitely inconvenient.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having access to a shared file system for remote collaboration has been valuable, as it is straightforward to set up and flexible enough to fit into our existing workflows.
