Best Tool for Remote Collaboration and Storage
What do you like best about the product?
I love how LucidLink allows us to work seamlessly between multiple designers and handle file storage and archiving efficiently. Its cloud-based server is incredibly fast and has no lag time, which makes remote collaboration a breeze. It's honestly the best tool we've found for storage and collaboration. I also find it very easy to use. The initial setup of the newer version was very easy, especially for tech-minded users. LucidLink works well with a variety of apps in the Adobe Creative Suite, as well as Microsoft products like Word and Excel.
What do you dislike about the product?
I've recently run into some bugs with LucidLink Classic. It was a little more difficult for other users to set up, but that was the classic version.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
LucidLink allows us to work remotely and collaborate with no lag time, making it the best tool for storage and collaboration. It's easy to use.
Reliable, Fast, and Easy Integration for Creative Teams

What do you dislike about the product?
So far, nothing to dislike

I use LucidLink for my editorial and production team. It lets us share files reliably and quickly, which is crucial for us to work efficiently.
Great for Music Creation, Initial Setup Needs Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
I like that LucidLink helps me make music and has helped me learn new ways of making music. It is very good for what I use it for.
What do you dislike about the product?
I found it was not easy to use at the start, and it ends up taking a lot of room on my device. They could make it a bit easier for when you first get it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
LucidLink helps me learn new ways of making music and is very good for what I use it for.
Smooth Remote Workflows with LucidLink's Seamless Integration
What do you like best about the product?
I like using LucidLink for the ease it brings to remote workflows, especially for large-scale projects with team members scattered across different locations without access to a local data center. It's very helpful to quickly deploy and spin up the system for remote team members near and far, making the pipeline smooth for asset transfers from remote production overseas to the editorial team in the US. I appreciate that LucidLink is a great tool for easy collaboration on a budget, and I no longer have to worry about unknown data center costs or difficult-to-configure tools. LucidLink acts as a point-and-shoot solution that is easy to set up and has quick onboarding for new team members. I love being able to share entire folders with a read-only view, allowing stakeholders visibility on media without the risk of them managing folders or reallocating assets mistakenly. The ease of management for both the artists and the administrators, like setting permissions and specific folder structures quickly, is a big help.
What do you dislike about the product?
The streaming component for local use could be improved. I've experienced difficulties with smooth playback when streaming large files or a large number of files without having them pinned locally. I have gigabit fiber Internet so experienced infrequent streaming issues, however some of my remote team members experienced more latency unless folders were pinned locally.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
LucidLink simplifies remote workflows, enabling easy collaboration for my team. It eliminates worry about data center costs, provides quick onboarding, and facilitates smooth asset transfer between locations. I appreciate its ease of setup, folder sharing with read-only views, and minimal management requirements.
Great Team Access to Stored Materials, But No Undo for Deletions
What do you like best about the product?
I like that everyone on the team is able to access all materials that are stored
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that if something is deleted that can oou can't undo
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to access the files and folders outside of being at work
Seamless Cloud Storage with Easy Interface
What do you like best about the product?
I like LucidLink's easy interface and the ability to pin footage, which makes my work simpler. It's great that it's mounted in my finder on my Mac like a USB, meaning I don't need an internet connection to load it up. I can work with the files as long as I have my laptop. The ability to pin and unpin is also a big plus, as it helps me manage my local storage without having to constantly delete files. The setup was easy with no issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes when I'm uploading files to LucidLink, team members want to know how long it will take before they can access them. I can see the GB going down as it's uploading, but there's no time estimate. I'd love a time left feature on uploads or a progress bar to get a better idea, as it's usually dependent on connection speed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use LucidLink for file storage, allowing me to work from anywhere and seamlessly collaborate with my team. Its easy interface and pinning feature save local storage and prevent constant file deletion.
High Performance and Secure—A Standout Experience

High performance and secure and instant file accessing and easy to use
What do you dislike about the product?
It takes hight internet and also it has high cost
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Eliminate download and sync and version chaos and relinking issues
Easy Remote User Integration for Ingesting and Deploying Materials
What do you like best about the product?
It is ease of integration with remote users, creating a volume network to ingest or deploy materials.
What do you dislike about the product?
Maybe the differents servers, when we have a remote user, we need to use a different aws server to improve the latency uploading, downloading materials.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Maybe for users working remotely from a local setup, remote apps aren’t always the best option for getting work done. In my experience, local performance consistently beats the remote one.

Best-in-Class Storage Collaboration: Fast Speeds and Smooth OS Integration
What do you like best about the product?
Lucidlink is one of the best storage collaboration services i have used here, I have used multiple other tools like google workspace, Microsoft 365, Dropbox, filecloud etc but this outperforms all of them with the upload/download speed and integration with OS.
What do you dislike about the product?
the only problem i see is it slows down when multiple users are using the same shared drive, with multiple i mean our entire team, It slows down gradually and substantially sometimes, Copying larger files starts with maybe 80-100Mbps and then goes to 10 Mbps sometimes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
well it's primary use we have is to have our entire data centralized in one drive.
