What do you like best about the product?

I love Scrut Automation because it helps me automate all the policies and the renewal processes. It also guides me and sends alerts to complete tasks on time, which is crucial for SOC 2 compliance and other certificates. Everything about Scrut Automation is just perfect. It's the most valuable tool we have. The automation features for maintaining policies are very helpful and high-performing, making it indispensable for us.

What do you dislike about the product?

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

I use Scrut Automation to automate policy management and renewals. It guides and sends alerts for SOC 2 compliance and other certifications.

What do you like best about the product?

Most of the integrations are naturally supported. Also, UI/UX is intutive.

What do you dislike about the product?

Sometimes things are diffcult to find in the vault.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Its helping us to review the processes and help in certifications like GDPR, ISO etc.

It’s very user-friendly, easy to understand and simple to navigate from start to finish.

Certain thingy are a little manual where I have had to go through each user and action rather than a multi select.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

I think it helps us manage access within the organization and complete the required security trainings, which is overall a good thing for the business.

What do you like best about the product?

I like that Scrut Automation integrates with our cloud provider AWS, our identity management system Google Workspace, our MDM system NinjaOne, and our HR and payroll system Rippling. These integrations allow for automation of onboarding and offboarding employees, tracking device-level compliance for controls such as antivirus, disk encryption, patch status, and monitoring cloud services for vulnerabilities and best practices. Scrut performs over 100 automated tests and lists all findings and recommendations in a single dashboard, which is much more efficient than manually reviewing over 100k individual cloud assets. The initial setup was easy because the integrations took care of the majority of the workload.

What do you dislike about the product?

I have minor UI issues with Scrut Automation, such as page sorting and filters.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

I find Scrut Automation helps with SOC 2 compliance by collecting evidence, tracking employee compliance, and automating cloud control testing. Its integrations automate onboarding, track device compliance, and monitor cloud vulnerabilities, saving me from manually reviewing countless assets.

Scrut is better than Vanta is all I can think rn

may be the customer support. when i request for a call it doesnt usually happen on the same day

Simple process driven way to achieve ISO27001 and SOC2 compliance.

What do you dislike about the product?

The built in AI is a useful tool but I have found it lagging a bit recently - it's a minor complaint as overall the platform is fantastic.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Process driven way to achieve compliance certification, I have used consultants in the past which took 8-12 months, this is a much more elegant process, quicker and less work.

What do you like best about the product?

Scrut Automation simplifies compliance and audit workflows through automation and continuous monitoring. The platform is easy to use, integrates well with existing tools, and significantly reduces manual effort during audits. The support team is responsive, and overall it has improved visibility and efficiency in compliance management.

What do you dislike about the product?

Nothing much Initial onboarding and workflow setup may take time for first-time users.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Scrut Automation is helping us simplify and automate compliance management, especially for frameworks like SOC 2 and ISO 27001. Earlier, tracking evidence, managing policies, monitoring risks, and preparing for audits involved a lot of manual effort and coordination across teams.

With Scrut Automation, most of these processes are centralized and automated, which has improved visibility, reduced operational overhead, and helped us stay continuously audit-ready. The platform also makes it easier to track security controls and compliance gaps in real time, saving significant time for both technical and management teams.

What do you dislike about the product?

the platform reduces manual evidence collection efforts by up to 80%. It connects directly with existing tech stacks (AWS, Okta, GitHub) to continuously monitor controls.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

The main dashboard gives you a bird’s-eye view of your compliance posture, highlighting pending tasks, flagged risks, and overall framework progress. You can click directly on charts or graphs to jump to specific modules.

What do you like best about the product?

Scrut has an AI tool that automatically fills out cybersecurity questionnaires. My team uses both the Chrome plugin and the spreadsheet uploader, and Scrut does the hard work for us. It saves several hours of time for the high-quality professionals on my team who used to spend hours completing these questionnaires.
They integrate with every tool I use. And is very easy to use.
Customer support is very active, every time I had any issue, my feedback was tracked and I had quickly answers from the Support Team.

What do you dislike about the product?

I’m in love with this product; it’s very complete. That said, the IT device management side could be more robust, especially to better control BYD devices and company devices during onboarding and offboarding.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

The process of obtaining a certification is complex and time-consuming, but Scrut makes it easier to understand the requirements and track progress. The automation saves about 60% of the effort needed to become compliant.
