Great Cloud automation tool
What do you like best about the product?
Simplicity of setup, user support, amount of automations available, amount of insights and way how data shown
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing at this point, tool saved way more than it cost to us.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have decent dev and stage environments in different AWS accounts which can be stopped for a non working hours. It’s inconvenient to support scripts in each account, especially when changes happens. As well CloudAvocado helped us stop MongoDB Atlas. Way how it shows data i dashboard - just great, it help as focus on things where we can save the most, from cost prospective
Great cost saving tool
What do you like best about the product?
Looked for a while for ParkMyCloud replacement, after they got acquired. After a while with CloudAvocado, the biggest win is simplicity and ROI - we save thousands. Onboarding was quick and simple, literally couple of minutes. Best bonus - it used historical data from AWS, I could get all needed data without waiting. Team is very responsive - and adding new services quickly after request
What do you dislike about the product?
Currently it's a great tool for us. So nothing so far. So
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our workload on AWS is time sensitive. Shutting down dev/stage resources for a non-working hours saved us a lot
After one year of running CloudAvocado
What do you like best about the product?
My team appreciates a simple setup, user support, UI
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing. Team responsiveness is great, they are adding new features quickly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We’ve run CloudAvocado for a full year now. Onboarding took a couple minutes - plug in the AWS accounts and the dashboard was ready almost instantly. For me it’s way more convenient and faster than combining data from CloudWatch and Cost Explorer, no heavy setup required. Since then we have saved way more than product costs. Their EKS extended support notification itself with a dollar amount assigned to it - highlighted huge savings. Overall my team is very happy with the product
impressive results
What do you like best about the product?
CPU utilization charts for EC2 instances. This has become an irreplaceable tool to avoid overprovisioning and to set proper AutoScaling. Also, it decreased the cost of our testing environments after we assigned schedules to them. It’s very good to have recommendations, which highlight potential sources of waste as soon as it appears.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing I can write here. It literally meets my expectations so far
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We solved some visibility issues with CloudAvocado. It has increased the accuracy of our cost allocation and reporting. As a result of it, we were able to optimize our workload, achieve cost savings, and set more realistic forecasting
Cloud management and cost saving made easy
What do you like best about the product?
CloudAvocado Cost Optimization has been a real lifesaver when it comes to handling our cloud expenses. I love how it simplifies the management of our AWS accounts, making it so much easier to keep track of our spending without spending hours in front of the screen. The RDS scheduling feature is a gem – it automates the start and stop of our DB instances based on our actual needs, saving us money without sacrificing performance. And the best part is, CloudAvocado's dashboards are so user-friendly. They provide a clear picture of our expenses, helping us spot areas where we can cut costs. I can't recommend it enough for anyone looking to manage cloud costs effortlessly.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far I haven't spotted any issues, works as expected.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am using CloudAvocado for costs saving on my cloud infrastructure, namely locating underutilized resources and applying schedules to my development environment.
This tool is worth your attention
What do you like best about the product?
I’m a beginner in cost optimization so CloudAvocado recommendations were a great starting point for me. It detected the most untidy parts of our AWS cloud and we made some significant improvements on the very first day of usage.
Also, I liked
-- intuitive resource scheduling
-- detection of underutilized resources for rightsizing
-- hourly breakdown of CPU and memory utilization

What do you dislike about the product?
Haven’t faced any issues so far. I'm totally satisfied with the CloudAvocado interface and capabilities.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
CloudAvocado helped us to allocate our cloud cost to plug some serious budget leaks. Our AWS bill has become more predictable since then.
Quick to set up, easy to use and affordable
What do you like best about the product?
CloudAvocado saves us thousands of dollars every month and only costs a fraction of that amount. Anyone who runs AWS EC2 instances will be able to find a use for CloudAvocado—even those with little time to spare.
Connecting our CloudAvocado account to our customers' AWS tenants was easy and took less than 5 minutes per tenant. They provide clear instructions on where to go in the AWS admin console and which permissions to apply, so even someone not well versed in AWS roles and permissions can utilise CloudAvocado without further training.
With a modern and intuitive interface, managing resource schedules is straightforward for even the most novice of CloudAvocado and AWS administrators.

What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing at all—Andriy and the team are always eager to answer any questions we might have.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Many of our customers have EC2 instances that just don't need to be online 24/7. CloudAvocado automates switching these instances off at night and powering them on early in the morning without our technicians needing to spend time after hours to do this manually.
Glad we have it
What do you like best about the product?
I like the Dashboard and Resource functionality most of all. At these tabs, I can request and see cost distribution across different entities and create custom reports based on that data. I also like how it's easy to create and apply a schedule for resources. Our on-demand QA machines that were always turned on, now are automatically turned off at non-working hours.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing, it works very well for me. No complaints
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
CloudAvocado made it possible for our team to analyze and predict our AWS expenses. We decreased
forecast spend to actual spend accuracy variance down to 20% on average. Scheduling saved around 60% on each test or development instance we have.

Great cloud cost management platform
What do you like best about the product?
I liked how it’s easy to schedule resources in CloudAvocado. Also, it was very helpful in detecting underutilized resources. Rightsizing recommendations are very useful too, I use them often. Another very convenient thing is to see resources from all accounts and all included regions in one list to build cost allocation reports.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing, the support team is always there to help and solve my issues
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helped me to see my resources from different perspectives and effortlessly highlighted wasteful ones. I was able to optimize AWS workload by getting rid of idle resources and rightsizing overprovisioned instances, which freed up a cost for a new feature.
Saved cloud budget with resource scheduling
What do you like best about the product?
It was very easy to save a lot from the very beginning. As soon as we’ve tagged all of our environments we could turn existing instances on and off automatically according to required schedules. Then we used tag-based scheduling to apply a schedule related to a specific tag automatically for each new instance assigned with an environment tag.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's hard to say as I mostly used Dashboard and Scheduling features and I’m satisfied.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our AWS lacked visibility and the bill was growing each following month. We used CloudAvocado to calculate and reduce budget waste caused by idle resources and non-production instances that were turned on 24/7
