In my environment, CheckMK is successfully used for monitoring important infrastructures.
What do you like best about the product?
CheckMK works reliably and is easy to operate in the event of a critical error.
What do you dislike about the product?
The setup can sometimes not be trivial, but it is done for me by the technical team.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are responsible for the operation of the systems. During the day, errors are displayed on the dashboard, and at night, they are shown through an alert system.
I've used the community edition for years and now we are running Enterprise Cloud.
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use in setup. It was probably easier for me after years of command line administration. The product is very versatile. I was blown away at being able to make my own custom dashboards. Implementation was pretty easy and again I was familiar with cli installation. I have been leaning toward Debian lately and it runs on an old server just fine.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are still areas that need worked on. The email integration is a little awkward since you have to go command line
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
IT Department alerting of various on premise and Internet sites critical to our operation.
I had a difficult technical issue, received guidance on it very quickly, and solved the problem.

We have received great customer service and support.

I have not encountered any significant downsides yet.

Quick and accessible visibility of network infrastructure.

Anything you have in your IT infraestructure can be monitored from CheckMK

Some times it requires deep knowledge and it will not be 3 clicks

Now we know about the servers and/or network before our users; in the past, some times we were informed fro our final users.
Really great solution for Monitoring with brilliant support

Flexibility is a key selling point and the solution itself is very agile and smart.

Sometimes it can be a bit complex for beginners.

The wide range of monitoring it can cover, customisable options

Customer service can be very condescending at times, rude and they don't always re-read your previous comments.
I also think better azure monitoring would extend the product.
The reporting element has a lot to be desired also.

Advanced monitoring of logs, sql queries and network equipment.
Most cost effective & reliable monitoring service out there
What do you like best about the product?
Checkmk is by far the most cost effective and reliable monitoring service I've used. We monitor around 30,000 services with it, including physical servers, virtualized linux and windows, and networking hardware. It's also pretty easy to deploy service checks! The agent bakery (Not included in the Raw edition) is a life saver when managing as many agents as we are.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UX is a bit rough until you get used to it. I've been administering it for 5+ years now and I sometimes struggle where to find the pages I need.

is the first time we can monitor the correct functioning of the hosted websites so we can have a fast first response in case of downservice.

CheckMK is its comprehensive monitoring capabilities, which allow for real time visibility into the IT infrastructure. It is easily customize checks and report make it a powerful solution.
What do you dislike about the product?
Infrace should more user friendly and it would be nice if it is have less complex features for navigating to configure new services.

Checkmk is solving the problem of efficiently monitoring and managing complex IT infrastructures. By providing real-time insights into the health and performance of our systems.
