Effortless Setup, High-Performance Data Handling
What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate the ease of setup with Salesforce Data Cloud. Handling streaming data with very low latency is invaluable for my operations. The platform excels in optimizing latency and managing high data volumes effortlessly. I find its integrations with connectors like MuleSoft and S3 extremely beneficial. Overall, I think it's a fantastic product, deserving a recommendation score of 10.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Salesforce Data Cloud to analyze click streams, identifying geo-location and product reviews, optimizing analysis latency and handling high data volumes easily, which benefits my operations.
Great Data Harmonization Concept, but Steep Learning Curve for Admins
What do you like best about the product?
The idea of harmonizing data is great. The mapping tool is very transparent

I am still learning, not the easy learn for Admins,
I don't get a clear picture from there the data from in the end of the process. Most of the time we have one contact present in 2 or 3 orgs. Business want to see all the resources info

Great Integrations, but Setup and Credit Costs Need Clarity
What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate the wide range of integration options available.
What do you dislike about the product?
In my opinion, the setup process is not very straightforward, and it's also unclear how credit usage affects both impact and cost.

I am currently using it to support advanced use cases within Marketing Cloud.

Flexible Data Connections, but Limited Connectors and Mulesoft Dependency

I appreciate the ability to connect to any data source, as well as the option to establish a private lake connection.

The platform is somewhat limited when it comes to available connectors, and it also requires the use of Mulesoft.

Steep Learning Curve But Integrates Well for Segmentation
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate how Salesforce Data Cloud simplifies the creation of segmentations using various criteria and data points which isn't possible in native Salesforce reports. The integration with Marketing Cloud is extremely useful, allowing us to act on insights about prospects and enhance account engagement.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find setting up Salesforce Data Cloud to be quite difficult due to the extensive training required and the new terminology introduced. It feels almost like learning a new product from scratch, especially with functionalities like data mapping, unification, and segmentation that we hadn't handled before. Additionally, the product's complexity is heightened by areas where writing code is necessary, such as with calculated insights and query editors, which differ significantly from standard Salesforce administration tasks. This steep learning curve is not just challenging but makes the overall user experience less intuitive, especially for experienced Salesforce administrators.

It solves complex marketing segmentation by using criteria and attributes from different data points, enhancing our segmentation capabilities beyond native Salesforce reports. The integration with Marketing Cloud enables us to act on insights, improving prospect engagement.
